Grqy Tree Service arrived with enough men and equiptment to trim a small forrest (not a complaint). They went to work with the combined skills of a surgeon and a lumberjack. One of the workers climbed the tree fitted with a harness and removed branches and tree limbs skillfully.They worked quickly and cleaned up after their work was done. I thought they may have cut too much, but the tree came back this year and sprouted an abundance of new growth. Gray Tree Service was very professional and I would use them again.

The owner's father came out to give an estimate for the job, and I thought it was high, so I called the owner back about this. He came out to look at the tree, and gave a lower estimate, and we settled on a price. The workers were quick, professional, and cleaned up nicely. They were done in less than an hour.

The are a great company ! 1 they came at the appointed time for the estimate. 2 they were professional in appearance and quoting. 3 they performed the limb removal with care...I almost hadn't known they were there! 4 all debris was removed. I would highly recommend Grey Tree Service !!!

They did a great job with a professional crew. They were careful not to damage other plants and flowers. I have had this work done in the past for $600 and have had estimates over $900 from other firms. I will definitely use Gray Tree Service again.

Everything went as planned. However, the project required two trips for Rick's crew. One day to remove the tree, the other to remove the stump. Had I been home when it was done, it would have taken one day, as I could have unlocked the garage door so they could have brought the stump grinder into the yard. Great job, excellent service.

Work went well, other neighbors had previous work done on their trees, service was just as good , at a lower price.

I had a rotting tree next to my driveway. I called Gray Tree Service for a quote. They came out and gave me a quote. I called them back the next day. They told me a date and time. Gray tree service came on time. The workmen were very helpful and polite. They knew exactly what they needed to do. They had the tree down and the stump removed so very quickly. I was very impressed with the quility of work and the professionalism of the team. I will recommend them to all my family and friends.

They did a great job, although I never received a call telling me when they were coming. So, I was still sleeping when the door bell began ringing and someone was knocking on the door! I would have appreciated knowing when they were coming! They did do a great job though.

It was okay. I would recommend that you get estimates for your job before purchasing the coupon, so you know if you received a good deal or not.

We contacted Gray Tree Service to trim a very tall, messy, and infringing soft maple tree in our back yard. The callbacks to arrange the estimating and scheduling were a little slow, but not to the point of irritating. Rick Gardner and a crew of about 7 arrived with several large trucks, a bit earlier in the morning than they estimated, so we were still in the midst of removing dog waste. A member of the crew pitched in to help finish the task so they could get started! They went right to work, very organized, each member knowing his job, communicating effectively, and moving rather like a well-coordinated dance. Attention to safety was evident, even to the protection of our power lines and fencing, and of the neighbors property and garage, over which the major large limb was extending. Time was under 2 hours, and cleanup was total. The only evidence of trimming was sawdust among the grass and a few flattened points on the chain link fence top, really unavoidable considering the sheer volume of debris coming down. Rick, who had not been the estimator, clarified before starting that we wanted a trim and removal of the overhanging limb, and asked permission to also trim bushes that hampered access to their trucks in the alley. I trusted these experts as to how much and what to take off the tree; nonetheless, I was surprised by the tall slim profile of the tree and the amount of sunlight admitted to the yard when finished. Never having done this before, I would venture to say that if you are particular about a tree (which I was really not), maybe draw or find a picture or state how many feet up you want trimmed or how dense or open you want the crown, and ask if that is possible or advisable. It is not really a situation where, when crew members are high up with power saws and rope rigging, one can safely stand out there and decide. Overall, it was a very good bargain and a problem solved and I am getting used to the change. Thank you Angie's and Gray's!

Gray Tree Service called back promptly and came when they said they would. They did a nice job, cleaned up and were very professional. I would recommend them to those who need tree service!

Very simple story. I needed the work done. There was a $300 for $200 coupon on Angie's List so I figure why not. Some of the work I would have done before myself previously. After two heart surgeries, my wife would make my life unpleasant if I tried it again. I had to take a chance with whoever I used. I tried Angie's List looking for top rate firms and was not disappointed.

I was amazed at how quickly the crew finished everything, and they left the grounds nice and tidy as well. We've only lived here about 3 years and I am quite sure that nothing was ever done to any of the trees on the grounds. The maple in the front had a lot of dead branches and was constantly dropping branches with every storm, the crab apple in the back was terribly asymmetrical due to bush encroachment (since trimmed back). The crew trimmed both trees within an hour, they were very careful not to trim so much that there wasn't any tree left for the front maple and made sure to check with me for satisfaction before they left. The property was left clean and neat. Cost was kept to estimate which included 2 Angie's list coupons plus additional payment. I can see why this service is a recommended service on Angie's list! Great job - I'm very happy.

he came out and was very nice. told me i had to pay extra for what i needed done. i called & had 2 other services come out. i was able to get it done cheaper from someone who has helped before.

The crew showed up on time, removed the three trees in 90 minutes. They did a great job, were professional and friendly. I was quoted a price that was honored and I appreciated that you could use a credit card to pay for the transaction.

They were timely and professional. They were very good, just a little pricey. Might do work next year.

Team did a great job. Couldn't be happier. Prompt, polite, cleaned everything up. Also, nice to get the Angie's List special $200 of work for $99, which in the end saved me $200. Happy customer.

The crew looked very professional and they had enough men here to complete the job quickly. They were extremey polite and very well organized. They moved some of the tree close to my neighbors property line for firewood (no extra charge). Overall, I was very impressed with Grey's Tree Service and would certainly recommend them.

Overall, I had a very good experience and would use Gray anytime I have a big job.

It started several weeks ago and it was really difficult to get them to come out out. It took several times of contacting them to come out.

The took away a fallen tree and we did more than the $200 worth of work. It turned out ok.

Everything was discussed via email and they took care of the job. I would have never even known they were there, except that my tree is gone!
