Highly recommend this company. Amazing service. Professional work. Went above and beyond. Yard hasn't looked this good (or clean!) in years.

The six-man crew arrived on time and cut down the very large tree without damage or injury. The workers where cordial and professional in spite of poor weather conditions - they worked in frigid temperatures with gusting winds. We were impressed with their speed and efficiency. The area was left clean and the landscape and property are undamaged. Thank you!

After getting an estimate, company called back, said they need to do a new estimate. Called 45 minutes after appointment time saying he was running late. Rescheduled. Gave another estimate 75 ? 100% higher than the first. Says only that his father ?should not have done that?. Quoted one price, than came back and doubled the price. No sale. REPLY: Not true; We showed him the father the trees we wanted cut down, he quoted $500 for each. The only thing we were unsure of was how many we would have cut down. Son came out later and quoted $1,000 for each tree. There was no written estimate. We declined the service.

Gray Tree Service did a most professional job. They removed the tree quickly and safely from the yard. There was no damage to the adjacent plants or garage. The pieces were carried to the street, chipped-up and hauled away. The trunk was segmented hauled to the street and placed in their truck. The yard, driveway and street were carefully cleaned up. Except for the short (~2") stump and extra sunlight you can not tell that anybody had worked in the yard. I couldn't be more pleased.

The team arrived early and went straight to work. They quickly manhandled the tree and then spent quality time cleaning up after themselves. They even went onto my roof to clean off any small debris that had landed there. I was amazed how quickly they worked and how detailed they were. I will definitely be using them in the future for an additional tree and bush removal and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree service.

These guys are unbelievable. The whole operation was like the Navy Seals "pruning" Osama bin Laden. Exactly on schedule they swooped into our yard with 9 (!) guys, ladders, power saws, trash cans, etc. . I swear, within 2 minutes the men were up in the trees. They completely removed one large dead hawthorn tree, cut dead branches from 25 feet up on a mature elm, pruned an apple and removed lower (dead) branches from an ash tree. They cleaned up everything and were gone within 20 minutes. Only thing missing was the helicopters. It did take a couple of weeks to schedule them, most likely because they are very busy this time of year and ours was not an emergency job. But all we needed was for the work to be done this fall, and it was.

I had a +/- 40 year old maple tree in my back yard that was about 8' from my side and rear property lines. They had to do all the work by climbing the tree and using ropes to ensure branches came down so they wouldn't damage anything. They also removed a +/- 35 year old huge crabapple tree located just a few feet from my driveway and the sidewalk. They couldn't make their first appointment because of rain but promptly rescheduled me for a few days later. Their work, including all cleanup was done promptly and extremely professional. All workers were very polite and worked all the time they were here. I have used Gray Tre Service in the past and am extremely happy with their work.

I called this company to see how much a tree trimming would cost. The manager promptly arrived and sent me a quote. My husband loves this tree and worried about trimming it in the first place. Because he isn't in the tree trimming business, he believed that tree trimming could make the tree susceptible to insect invasion (among other things). He even pinpointed specific branches he wanted cut in order for him to walk under it when mowing. Let me emphasize that the trimming was minimal and was shocked that he quoted me $200. I found a Big Deal for $99 of $200 worth of tree trimming from this same company. I bought the coupon because $99 was, what I believed, more the cost of the project. The manager did not mention the coupon online in his original quote and seemed shocked when I wanted to use it. He came on a day that we weren't home, so I informed my neighbor to be on the lookout for the workers in our backyard. Our neighbor said the workers were very nice. They were only there for about 10-15 minutes. They did remove the fallen branches from our backyard. All in all, we should have done this project by ourselves and was way overpriced.

Had gotten prior estimates and this estimate was doubled. It felt like since I had bought the big deal there was an additional cost added. Used the Angie's List rating but I still need to get estimates first.

It was easy to make a convenient appointment. the crew showed up on time and did a greta job.They were quick to get to work and were very professional in taking down and trimming the trees. I have used Gray Tree Service before and will use them again when the need arises.

The Gray Tree Service crew arrived bright and early. They did a wonderful job of taking down several very large tree limbs that had been blown over in a wind storm from a month ago. The big branches were at 30 to 40 feet off the ground. These trees were located at the back of the property and so the crew had to climb the trees and rig the damaged branches with ropes to keep them from damaging a storage shed, power lines, and neighbors' property.down below. The Gray crew did an excellent job of removing the big branches and then cutting more dead branches out of the trees. They also did a wonderful job of clean up when they were all done. I was very satisfied with their work and the job in general. I would highly recommend them.

These guys are very professionals, I made excellent decision going with Gray Tree Service. Came with around 5-6 guys and finished job in about 1.5 hrs, Cutting 2 trees, 1 big and 1 small both were leaning to my roof and removing additional stump. I have some other tress to cut and some trees to trim next season, i would always want to use their service, and most of it they were cheapest of all the quotes got in my area for the work performed.

Quick responses to all questions and estimate comparable to other bids. I was told service would be here at 1030, they showed up at 1029. Within 45 minutes the trees were gone. Ground raked and cleaned. Workmen were prepared and all wore safety equipment and very professional. Highly recommended

The job went well! Gray arrived right on time and had our tree down within an hour. Their skill/ expertise was impressive. The guys were all really cordial/ respectful - answering questions and cleaning up after the job was done. I would definitely use them again!

It turned out well. Clean up was fine and they had the tree down in about an hour. They ground it down right here at the house and ground the stump as well. There were no problems with scheduling the appointment.

We had a large storm blow through that broke off several large heavy branches that ended up all over our roof, some hanging over into neighbor's property. Called Gray Tree Service, based on AL reviews. Their guy (Rick's dad, as it turns out) came out, looked it over, gave us a quick estimate, and said they could do it that afternoon. I maybe could have got a cheaper estimate if I shopped around, but wanted the branches down ASAP, as they were a hazard and risked doing more damage. The crew of 6-7 guys came over not long after, got on the roof, and got to work. They worked quickly and efficiently, sawing up the branches and hauling them away into a chipper. They were in particular careful of items on my and my neighbor's property that they had to work around. They were done probably not more than an hour later, and did an excellent job cleaning up - looks like nothing happened! A very capable and professional job.

They came almost immediately. A large crew trimmed the trees and bush and thoroughly cleaned up. They also communicated well. Did a good job of pruning and shaping. This would have been more expensive without the Angie's List coupon. I think the full price would have been rather pricey.

We were extremely pleased with this provider. They responded quickly to provide a quote which we considered reasonable. Scheduled the work, arrived on time with a professional crew and did a great job. Would definitely recommend
