Rick was very responsive via phone and email, communicating every step of the way. The work was done as specified and the yard was left unbelievably clear of sawdust and branches. Thankful that I won't have to worry about low-hanging branches to power lines, my garage or the neighbors garages for years to come. Great job.

I contacted Rick from Gray Tree Service and he came out and gave me an estimate the same day. I scheduled the work shortly after that. The crew showed up on the date and time scheduled and promptly got to work. In no time they had cleanly removed the tree and did a fantastic job on trimming the arbor vitae trees that had not been trimmed in like 20 years. They did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards, I could hardly tell they were ever there. The crew was also super polite and friendly. I would hire Gray Tree Service again with no hesitation!

We were flexible on time and they were able to fit us in. They called the day before and showed up on time and did a very good job trimming back the tree. We have a 2 story home and they did a very good job of trimming and cleaning up. Looked like they weren't even there (other than the trimmed tree).

Rick came out next morning after a large branch broke off tree. Very polite & punctual. He was able to fit us in schedule & complete work in timely fashion. The trimming and clean up was great. Would highly recommend!

Gray Tree Service did a big job for us three years ago and we were pleased with their service. So we were happy to have them return to remove a couple large trees that died and some large branches that overhung the driveway and house. Their prices are competitive. They sent a large crew and had the equipment to handle the job efficiently. They ground down a couple of trunks and roots so we can replant this fall. The crew was very careful of utility wires, our fence, our plants and yard. They were very thorough cleaning everything afterward. The trunks were huge and hauled away when they left. All the workers were courteous. We recommend them and would have them back again.

Gray Tree Service did an amazing job removing my tree. They gave the lowest price. Additionally, they were very responsive, arrived on-time with a whole crew of people and were very professional. They explained what would happen, executed their plan in a minimal amount of time and did exactly what they said they'd do. They cleaned up very well and made sure not to cause any disruptions with my neighbors. Finally, they had great equipment that made the job go very quickly. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Gray was quick to respond after we had lighting strike a large 70 yr old maple behind our house. A huge limb split and threatened to fall on the house. Gray quickly had a crew on site (two other tree companies wanted a week to schedule the work). The crew was excellent. The work was very well done, and after clean up you would not know they had been there. Great work, well done at a fair price. Can’t ask for more than that.

Left a message for Rick to get a price quote. He called me back in just a few hours. Crew arrived on the day promised. They did a fast, efficient professional job, and did a great clean up of the site after the tree removal. Would definitely hire again.

The team was professional, courteous, and overall did a great job. However, due to some miscommunications between the person who did the estimate and the foreman, the pine was not on the list for the workmen to cut down. They had to come back a different day. In addition, I didn't hear from them for a week or so until I called; then the tree was cut down that day. In the end I am satisfied with the work, and Gray's did in fact do everything that they promised to do. Miscommunications do happen, and I'm pleased it worked out in the end.

Rick showed up the very same day I put in the order for an estimate. He arrived within 6 hours of me submitting the request for a quote. He arrived in the PM and looked at the job explaining that all work was guaranteed, he carried liability insurance, workers comp., etc. He gave me a quote right on the spot of $800. Unfortunately, I had another company stop by the next day and their quote was more competitive.

They arrived earlier than expected and got the job done within an hour. This would have taken me a whole weekend (at least). They were very professional and polite. Cleaned up after themselves too. Great job!!

We are so glad we contracted with Gray Tree Service through Angie's List. (This is especially the case because of a very disappointing experience previously with another provider.) Communication with Rick in arranging for estimate, prioritizing our needs, then scheduling, was prompt, clear, personable and courteous. Likewise, on the day the work was done, Karl and crew confirmed what was planned for our property that day, then proceeded efficiently. We asked for a bit more drastic pruning on our old, out-of-bounds forsythia. It now has the beautiful classic fountain shape I've been trying to attain for years. The red bud tree no longer scrapes our neighbor's gutter or our dining room windows, without losing its graceful form. Those annoying low limbs on the maple are gone, allowing needed sun in the east garden. The crab apple has been treated and is now about to burst into spring bloom. We will definitely call Gray Tree Service for future tree and shrub care.

Had a tree and some shrubs removed. Estimate was a fraction of what landscapers wanted. Crew came out two days later, removed everything, ground the stumps, disposed of it all, and cleaned up afterwards. They were very efficient, professional, and thorough. Would not hesitate to use them again.

I had reached out to a couple of local tree trimming services to see if they could chop a large log that I had into my yard into wood slices for wedding centerpieces. Rick called me back right away and offered to do it for a very good price. He sent someone out right away. Great guys, highly recommended!

We had purchased a discount for $200 through Angie's List and were surprised when the bid for the work was still an additional $500. Our yard is small and the trees are about 30 feet tall and close together. My schedule require that I postpone scheduling the work, but Rick was easy to work with via email. The crew showed up on time, completed the work and cleaned up well after themselves. They pointed out some health problems with our trees, which was helpful.

Excellent professionals. Removed the tree, I added the removal of stump for additional amount which I think was very reasonable. But you don't get any benefit of taking a groupon deal.

The delivery and stacking of firewood went completely smoothly, and more importantly, the quality of the wood was outstanding. You will be able to find cheaper firewood out there, but there are big differences in what you get. Even if they say it's mixed hardwood, the type of hardwood, and how long it has dried matter, and we've never ordered better than this. Really great scent and burn times.

Everything went well from the communication via emails to the delivery of the firewood. The wood burns very well. A face cord will keep our house warm for about 2-3 winter seasons so it is a good price for quality firewood.
