First off, he is in the middle of remodeling his shop so the place was a mess. Fabric books stacked everywhere. I tried searching through the books, but finally asked for help. The one I picked turned out to be very expensive so found an alternative at a fabric store. The day I dropped the fabric off he told me it would take 2 weeks for the chair to be done. I called him on the 18th day only to learn they hadn't started yet. It would have been better service if he had called me to say there was going to be a delay and why. He said it would be another 2 weeks before it would be ready. So my 2 week project turned into 5. The quality of the work is pretty good. There could have been a little better matching of the pattern at the seams and cushion.

The chairs turned out perfectly. The fabric I brought had a pattern, and they matched the pattern on every chair, which I loved. Also, his prices are very reasonable. They are now doing more work for me, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

The showroom is quite an experience - very small with sample fabric books on three walls, ceiling to floor. But there was a staff person to help retrieve books too high for me to reach and I was allowed to take home as many as I wanted for as long as I needed. Michael was extremely helpful as I made my decision and gave me a great price for the fabric, new foam, plywood support, and labor. The finished seats were reinstalled yesterday, look beautiful, and are so comfortable! I highly recommend Citrano's and look forward to using them again for my future upholstery needs.

Looks can be deceiving. Don't let the appearance of this little place fool you. It is a workshop and the quality of the job was wonderful. The stools when finished looked brand new and they even touched up some scratches on the wooden bases. They were courteous, accommodating and the turnaround time was very fast. I would definitely recommend and will absolutely use them again for other projects.

He did a really good job. He has a fine selection. He is polite and a very nice gentleman. He is also timely. He also came out and corrected a structural problem with the table, which helps it to close better. He is very accomodating.

I found them on Angie's List. They were very helpful in selecting a fabric. They were concerned about the price point, which I appreciated. The chair seat had a pattern to it, and each one matched the other. It was very professional and well done. The pricing was very good.

.He was very personable, timely, and it wasn't the cheapest, of course but it had value. I was so pleased and I wanted to give him a 9 on that.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH MICHAEL & HIS COMPANY WAS EXCELLENT. I VISITED HIS SHOP WITH PICTURES OF THE CHAIRS & I EXPLAINED WHAT I WANTED DONE. HE GAVE ME A BALL PARK COST FIGURE BASED ON THE PHOTOS. HE PICKED UP THE CHAIRS AS I COULD NOT FIT THEM INTO MY CAR. HE CALLED TO GET MY OKAY WHEN HE HAD A SMALL PROBLEM TO RESOLVE BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK. THE ESTMATED TIME FOR COMPLETION WAS ON TARGET & THE COST WAS CLOSE TO HIS ORIGINAL QUOTE BASED ON THE PHOTOS ALONE. THE WORK WAS DONE AT HIS LOCATION. HIS SHOP IS SMALL, CLUTTERED BUT VERY BUSY - WHICH I THINK IS THE SIGN OF A WELL ORGANIZED PROFESSIONAL TRADESMAN. HIS EMPLOYEES ARE HELPFUL & PEOPLE ORIENTED. I'M VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK DONE & RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY TO ANYONE NEEDING SIMILAR SERVICES.

We sent email to various upholsters in July and received a reply from Ciltrano's within a day. We ended up helping with a long distance move right after, and told them our return date. They called us the day after we got back, and were more than willing for us to come to their shop to check out their workmanship. We went to their place of business, and they were more than willing to show us pictures of past work, and let us examian their work in progress. We were allowed to check out the materials they use in their upholstery, and were quick to help us find a supplier for Latex foam. They picked up our Victorian couch on July 21. We ordered our own foam and material, and they were comfortable with our doing so. We dropped off the foam and found our couch stripped down and the frame restored. They had patched all the old nail holes and repaired the leg. The only thing they reused was our springs. We got the couch back August 31. They had told us 3 weeks, but the delay was due to the length of time it took us to deliver the foam. They did a great job matching our one way design, made two pillows as a bonus, and did a lovely job on the exposed woodwork.

We picked it up from them after the work was finished. They were professional. They did an excellent job and provided excellent service. The price was good too. Everything was fine. We would absolutely use them again.

They turned out well and they did a nice job. They were very fast and they did a good job. It is not a real fancy store because of what they do. I am planning to use them again. They are not inexpensive but they are not out of line; they are fair. I was totally happy with them. They were very helpful to help me take them in and out of the car because they were leather cushions and they were awkward. I was totally pleased because the job was not clean and tidy because I had feathers that they had to deal with.

They were great but it was not cost effective to repair the ottoman as it was very expensive.

I was very happy with their services, but the price was a little on the higher side. The only drawback was that, there was no real decorating assistance and I had to look at different books for the same. I will use their services in future.

It was a brief, very painless experience. The gentleman working their looked at the ottoman, gave me a dollar estimate on the spot & said he would have it completed in 2 days. He called less than 2 days later to say the repair was finished. He did a great job, and I couldn't believe how inexpensive the cost was, or how quick the turnaround. I would absolutely use them again, as well as recommend them to friends.

The work went really well. A leather refinisher recommended him who is on Angie's list. He got the work done quickly. It is like having a new couch. He seemed to know what he was doing. I went to a shop actually at one point, and picked a couple other cushions. It is a tiny little shop. His workers were very friendly and helpful. They loaded my car up. It was a good service. He gave me some estimates on re-upholstery. I haven't done that, but I will certainly consider using him again. I haven't compared the price with anyone.

My wife inherited her grandparents' dining room chairs shortly after graduating from college in the mid-80s. Through several moves and several pets, the chairs (probably over 80 years old by now) had taken more than their share of wear and tear. They held a strong sentimental value for my wife and she'd been wanting for years to get them brought back to life. We were extremely pleased the result. The chairs used to be wobbly, scratched up, and uncomfortable to sit on. Now they look brand new. There was some intricate detail we wanted preserved and that was done extremely well too. Couldn't be happier with the way they turned out.

After I contacted Michael, he came over and picked up my pieces. I asked if they would be ready in time for Thanksgiving, which he assured me they would. He gave me an estimate that I agreed on and that was that. About two weeks later, he called and said my pieces were ready (well ahead of the T'giving deadline). I've had pieces re-upholstered before, but I think my chair and ottoman look better than new and we bought them from a relatively upscale store. I wrote Michael a check for exactly what he estimated.

I called Citrano based on the reviews at Angie's and got an estimate the next day. Michael stopped over, gave me a price, which I agreed to and took the chair and ottoman the same day. It took only two weeks to complete the job. I got my fabric from Calico Corners on sale and Michael told me the price was very good for that fabric. I was able to have the fabric shipped directly to Citrano. He delivered the two pieces today and they look great. I'm very happy with the job he did and the price he did it for. I saved almost $400 from having it done by Calico Corners. Michael also used only 11 yards of fabric; CC told me it would take 16!

The work was very well done and my old loveseat looks like new. Mike and his people did a great job of making the new loveseat arm exactly match the old one. This was much less expensive than replacing the entire loveseat and matching sofa.

The job was performed without any problems. He picked up the furniture on time and returned it right on schedule.

This is the third time we have used Citrano Upholstery and each time they've hit a home run. Michael did such a great job recovering a sofa and love seat that we asked him to give us an estimate to recover two recliners. The recliners were originally covered in fabric and we wanted them redone in leather. Michael arrived at our home right on time and gave us an estimate for the labor at that time. He recommended we come to his shop to pick out the leather which we did. Once the leather was received, Michael and his crew came to our house and picked up the chairs. He arrived right on time. He told us it would be about two weeks before the chairs were finished and would call to come to his shop to ensure the firmness was exactly what we wanted before he completed the work. He completed the work right on time and delivered the chairs on the day he said they would be delivered. He was extremely careful with the chairs as well as took great care to make sure the walls were not scraped. The workmanship was outstanding and highly professional and the finished product looked a lot better than any leather chairs that we had seen in showrooms.
