Citrano Upholstery & Furniture

We were extremely satisfied with workmanship. Pattern matching was even beyond expectation. I will not hesitate to have them do any other upholstery work we need. I believe our workman was Marcellus. Applause for exceeding expectations.

I contacted Citrano via the Angie's List "conversation with a provider" function one evening, and had a response from Leanne at Citrano first thing the next morning. She fully answered my question (is this something they do?), provided me with logistics, and suggested I call her if I needed more information or wanted to make arrangements for the work to be done. I called Leanne right away, and she was extremely helpful - giving me a price quote over the phone, letting me know if I dropped off the cushion in the morning they could do same-day work, and providing me with directions to their shop. I let her know I would bring in the cushion the following day, which I did. In the time it took to write up the paperwork, they had already fixed my cushion! I had other errands to run, and didn't want to put this huge thing back in my car for those errands, so they generously let me keep the sofa cushion at their shop until I could pick it up later in the day on my way home. They were very efficient, clearly knew what they were doing, and I would certainly use them again. The $30 price for this very quick job felt like it was a bit on the high side (I don't have any other quotes, so it's just a feeling), but it's not something I could do myself, and it was great to have it taken care of so quickly.

Michael came to my house initially to look at what needed to be done. He finished the job several weeks earlier than expected and delivered the chairs and cushions to me. He is a real craftsman -- the work he did was perfect!

They did not respond back to my call the first time and I had to call them again. By the time that I got a hold of them, the offer that was out there was expired and I have not proceeded any further with them. The repair was more expensive than I had hoped and so it is hard to say if I would use them in the future. I am leaning towards not repairing it because I probably can buy a chair for what it would cost me to fix it. Because of their not returning my call when I first wanted them to, I would grade my overall experience with them as B- but after that they were fine.

They were great. He does hard work. He has people that help him that he picks up and delivers. He's not the fastest person on the block but he does a good job.

It was a very smooth process. They helped me pick out a good fabric that will stand up to our 2 dogs. They were communicative about when the pieces would be ready and provided pickup and delivery service. The pieces look amazing - they did an excellent job. We will definitely use Citrano Upholstery for any future jobs.

Their assessment of the work involved was accurate and were a great help in showing me the possibilities in fabrics and cushioning. They came in ahead of schedule for a complex job. Very knowledgable and experienced.

Owner was very knowleable, he stayed opened later when I was running late. Quality was great, you can't even tell where he put it together. He repaired 6 cushions and did very good job.

Company and the owner and craftsman I worked with know the meanign of "quality craftsmanship" and how to treat customers ! Wife and I could not be more pleased ! All went well and prompt delivery was made. We will enjoy this chair for years to come as part of our home theater decor. We will continue to use Citrano for other needs. Awesome! Promised chair in 3 weeks, had it done in 5 days. Looks beautiful!

My first visit on a Thursday was to pick out fabric. The employee assisted me with color and asked about my budget. He said my fabric should be in early the next week and they would call me to bring in my chairs. I called the following Friday to discover my fabric had been delivered. I brought my chair in the same day. By the next Tuesday, they were ready! My husband was surprised by the price, but I'm hoping the chair last another 15 years!

When I first saw it restored, I was overcome with emotion--the craftsmanship was exquisite--no detail left out right down to the color of the stitching and piecing together of an intricate pattern of blue and gray leather. Practically it made no sense for me to do this nor for them to tackle such a project, but they told me it was a challenge that they all contributed to overcoming. And, oh how it showed! This is one of those times when the make-over surpassed the original. My dad would have been delighted, and my granddaughter and I are thrilled. We'll use their services again without even considering others--it's worth every penny!

Went very well. From selecting the fabric to final installation, the crew and team members were helpful and considerate. Great work. Professional to the nth degree.

We had two old chairs - very modern style, with lots of exposed metal. Citrano gave us a quote via photos we sent, came and picked up the chairs and gave final pricing, and promised delivery within 4-6 weeks. We had already picked out our fabric, but Citrano was able to tell us exactly how much we needed to purchase. The finished product was delivered to our home in 6 weeks and 1 day! They look great.

I stopped by their store to ask questions and look at their samples with the full intention of hiring them based on reviews on Angies List. Their selection of samples is large and varied. Hermando (sorry that I am not sure of the spelling of his name) was very helpful with helping me narrow down my selections and came to my home that same day to give me an estimate-after I decided which fabrics I wanted. Always very friendly,gracious and polite. The chairs are now not only beautiful,they are also more comfortable. Also,the visible wood portions of the chairs have been refinished to look like new.

THey spent a great deal of time with me and were very thorough and even though I decided to go ahead and purchase a new couch I would try them again. For me it just made more sense to buy a new couch than to invest the amount of money that it was going to cost what I wanted to do with the old one. Very friendly and helpful.

They were fantastic. They worked overtime to have the furniture back by Christmas so we had it to entertain. They have amazing customer service and they looks amazing as well..

Found the name on Angie's List. Took a chair to the store to get an estimate. Thought the price was too high but then went back home and read the reviews in Angie's List and decided to get the service done. I was very satisfied and would use them again in the future.

The entire process of working with Citrano was perfect. I enjoyed talking to Armando and getting his advice. He had a lovely young man to help him carry the furniture and took such nice care of it from my 3rd floor to his van. He showed up when he said he would and delivered the furniture in the time-frame he promised. I did think the service was expensive, but I really don't have much to compare it with. It may not be. That said, I'd rather pay more and have the exceptional quality that Citrano provides than pay less and be disappointed. I would have Citrano repair and/or upholster any and all of my furniture from now on.

I wanted my granddaughter to have and be able to use an elegant doll buggy given to me by my parents more than 60 years ago. However, it had been stored in attics and basements, and all the fabric surfaces were either torn or disintegrating. After reading reviews about Citrano Upholstery on Angie's List, I packed the buggy into my SUV, drove it to their shop, and hauled it in. As anticipated, they told me they re-upholstered furniture and had never done such a complicated piece. Michael explained the extensive labor involved, but he "got it" when I talked about my parents giving me this, and he and his men agreed to do their best. He said it probably couldn't be done by Christmas, and I was fine with them working on it whenever they had time. Nonetheless, he called me Dec. 20th to tell my it was done because then entire crew had gotten caught up in problem-solving and restoring this family treasure. (I wasn't the only one with tears in my eyes the day I picked it up!!). They made me feel like this wasn't just a job--it was a challenge and a pleasure to work on something with such sentimental value.

Citrano did a great job. We had them re-finish an old sideboard we inherited from my grandparents, and match the finish to our kitchen cabinets. It came out great. They also repaired a broken couch, and it was also well done. They were very careful moving our furniture in and out of the house, and generally were very professional. They were not the lowest estimate we got for this work, but given the high quality, I think the extra cost was entirely worth it.

I looked them up on Angie's List and they were highly recommended and had an all "A" rating, so I checked them out. They're not even close to where I live and it was quite a hall down there to talk to him. He was extremely prompt and timely. I went on a Monday and Thanksgiving was on a Thursday and I didn't expect or need the items before then, but he was very cognitive about the holiday coming up. He even stayed open late for me to come and pick them up before Thanksgiving so that I would have them for the holidays and I thought that was a little extraordinary. I thought his prices were a little high, but overall the quality that he did was phenomenal and he seemed very knowledgeable. He knew how to even preserve them and could tell from the wear and tear on the seat how much longer the overall furniture would last. He gave me recommendations for the couch in which he said it shouldn't get stuffed again and it should be replaced the next time and also that the chairs will probably need to be restuffed after 5 years. It was a lot of great information about furniture that I didn't know before. He was super professional and very, very, good. I'd recommend him and go to him again for questions or anything. He's so responsive and knowledgeable that it would be worth the extra price you'd pay just for what he delivers.

Oh my goodness... Michael Citrano is a magician! I have 2 antique chairs that were in need of reupholstery. Additionally, the seat of one of the chairs was, well, "falling out" is really the only way for me to describe it. Based upon the reviews here on Angie's list, I called and although I am easily located 45 minutes to 1 hour away, Michael (the owner) was willing to drive to my house to give me an estimate. I already had fabric with which I wanted the chairs reupholstered, and after measuring the fabric to confirm that there was enough for him to cover the two chairs (while maintaining the integrity of the pattern of the fabric on each chair), he provided me with a quote that was fair and reasonable. In addition to recovering the chairs, he also repaired the "broken" seat on one and reinforced the seats on both. Plus, it even appeared as though he waxed the wood of the chairs as well! As promised, the chairs were returned in pristine condition in about 3 weeks; and I am still thrilled with the quality of the work, his overall professionalism, and all-around niceness. Obviously, I'm a bit tardy in providing this review, but as I continue to love the work that he did on these treasured chairs, I am compelled to share my joy and satisfaction with all! I will definitely use Citrano's for my next upholstery need(s)... just as soon as I settle on the fabric. That, for me, is the hardest part. ;-)

Overall I would say he is a pleasant man that charges too much for his service.
