Description of Work: tuned up garage door |Reason I would not use them again is because I would probably call someone who is located closer to my home--just for the convenience factor.

Description of Work: Problem: Winter 2013, Whenever the weather would be exactly or below freezing I had to "help" my garage door go up. It would stick about 2 or 3 inches of opening. | |This is my first year on Angie's list and my first deal of the day selection. Garage door tune-up from this company for $39. | |The company called and an appointment was set. Rich was within the 2 hour time window given. I explained the problem and he looked at the door. He closed the door while in the center so that it hit his shoulder and went back up. He said the garage door felt heavy, took a look at the setup but he couldn't find the reason for it. So he asked for a broom and swept the rails and sensors. He then re-adjusted the sensors and the weight amount on the garage door opener. (My brother-in-law put it in over 16 years ago and I don't have the instructions for it.) He then went to his van to get WD-40 (although my sister swears by lithium grease as it supposedly doesn't hold dust). Since he was rummaging in his van I had some in a cabinet in the garage, I just got mine so he used that. | |He answered my questions and was nice and personable. The whole process took no more than about 20 minutes (as I remember it). My garage door is working fine this winter. | |I would use them again.

Description of Work: He sprayed the garage door rails. After listening to us about the difficulties we've had with the keypad during winters he said we needed a new keypad. He installed a new one and set a new code. Days later we erroneously knocked out the code and couldn't reprogram it ourselves. He made a second trip and reset the new code. No charge. He was very good to us.

Description of Work: They put a seal around the garage door. The seal worked very well to combat the drafts we were getting in our garage. The heater was able to keep the garage warm this winter thanks to the new seal

Description of Work: I had a garage door inspection. The gentleman inspected, cleaned, and lubricated my garage door and opener. He then took time to explain what he did and what I could do to maintain the door and opener. Besides how could I say anything bad about a fellow whitesox fan.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal, $99 Installation of Your Choice of Keyless Garage Door Entry Pad or Replacement Rollers and Safety Inspection. They were really good and went above and beyond. A+!
