Very well!! He was so profecional and helpful . I don't remember the date the came to do te service or how much we pay but we definitely use them again!

I made an appointment for 9:30 am. The property address is a rental property. I was there from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. No one came. I called their main number and was told that they usually give a window time frame. But they had given me a definite time and I could not wait any longer. Therefore, I informed them that I was leaving.

I contacted Richard Cruz of American Doors concerning the problem that i was having with my garage door,and Richard responded in a very timely manner.Upon arrival Richard determined the cause of the problem,and was able to make the necessary repairs in a timely manner.Richard also suggested and performed some preventive maintenance for the chain mechanism which has made for a much better performance of the garage door.I found Richard to be a very professional,and pleasant,and would highly recommend American Doors.

The install for the opener went well. Then he inspected the garage door and found 2 other problems I was not aware of....he charged me $220. For the 2 small parts he installed and it took him less than 1/2 hour to put them in...

The service turned out pretty good, I had a tiny problem, which they resolved, they did a nice, professional job. They were on time and courteous. They did what they said they were going to do, they had to another service while they were out here, and they were equipped to do that, and I would say that it was a positive experience and I would use them again. I had purchased a big deal for the service. The price was very good. They were right here when they said they would be.

Additional services were added. During the conversation prices quoted to me were not in addition to the already prepaid cost, but would bring the total cost to what was quoted. As a result an additional $300 was collected when my understanding was that it would be approximately an additional $150 added to the prepaid amount already collected. When I phoned in my complaint to the office I was not satisfied with the conversation, professionalism nor the results. I can't remember the exact date, if that is critical I can search for the receipt an update that information later. I hesitated in giving a evaluation for some time due to the fact that it was not a good experience. The quality of the work was good, but feeling like I was taken advantage of was a horrible experience.

Richard was a profession, from his demeanor to his work. I liked the way he showed me exactly the trouble with the parts that he had to replace.

Did the work I had already paid for with one of the specials....pointed out 2 other problems with my door..I had the repairs done but later thought I should have gotten another estimate as he charged an additional $220 for work that only took an additional 1/2 hour and a few small parts.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out fine. I would recommend them because the guy did a good job. He was friendly. I was happy with him. I don't have any comparison for the price but I was willing to pay what he had offered.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. He didn't come back though. He was supposed to give us an extra piece for the garage so the mice can't get in but that would have been an extra fee. I hope that guy is okay, he never bothered with us again. It's kind of hard for me to evaluate because I didn't know he placed them like that but seeing that he had to come to the house and do the work, I'd give him an A. I would consider hiring him again but he didn't get back to me and I don't know what happened.

The gentleman who answered the phone was really curteous and quite helpful and had my husband not chosen to go to another provider I would have most certainly used this company. His pricing was EXCELLENT (which I don't recall, but I do remember he was the most economical out of three company's contacted) and his availabilty was even better - he would have been able to install a garage opener the next day.

I contacted Rich due to great reviews on this list. I had two garage doors one of which stopped working altogether last year and the other would not stay closed while closing. He came out 4 days later on the agreed date and time. Not knowing what was wrong at all was a little scary for me as he could have charged me for unnecessary work or parts. He worked for two hours and was very thorough. Both doors have been working quieter and without incident for the last 3 weeks. I found his charges to be very fair and highly reccommend Rich to anyone who would like prompt, reasonable service on their garage doors.

This was the first time using them. I think he was just a middle of the road guy. Nothing I liked, nothing I disliked about them. He came out and did his job best I can recall. No issues.

It went fine. He came and did the work and left, I didn't actually see him, but the door seems to be OK. He called me to arrange, and he said he was coming the next day and he did. He was punctual and he arrived when he said he would and actually I think he was a little earlier than he said he would. He seems to have done a good job.

The installer arrived on time and did not waste any time installing the new entry pad. Upon completion, he provided instructions on how to set up my code and walked me through the entire process. I asked whether he could provide a garage door opener and he was able to do so quickly and easily. He also gave me some tips on keeping my garage door working properly, suggesting that I spray the springs annually to keep them in good shape. Overall, things went very smoothly.

I liked his honesty. He was very clear and said it would cost more. I liked that his honesty. I would recommend him to everyone else.

He came out and told me right away that he wouldn't be able to fix the problem, which was water coming in when it rains due to the floor pitch going down. He did stay and check a few things though, and fixed a few other things to make the big issue less of one. He was polite and courteous.

I took advantage of an Angies's list special. It called for a complete inspection of the system, a gear greasing and roller replacement if needed. Rich did much more, and the garage doors work perfectly. The additional cost was quite reasonable considering all he did. He was prompt, courteous and extremely professional. I plan to call him again if the need arises. I would highly recommend Rich and American Doors, Inc.

They contacted me and set up an appointment at my convenience. He showed up at the end of but within the 2 hour window that was promised. The garage door dates from 1995 and has never been professionally serviced. This guy is very knowledgeable. He did a thorough inspection and performed routine maintenance. He showed me everything he did, explained why he did it and what I should do in the future. I would definitely recommend him and would call again for anything I need done related to my garage door.

Rich was extremely punctual, professional, and friendly. The work was done quickly and well. I'm the type of person who likes to stand around and watch the service professionals I hire. Rich didn't seem to have a problem with that at all and almost seemed to welcome it. The only thing Rich did that I didn't agree with was using his teeth to strip some wires, but he assured me he had a good dentist. Overall great job. Opener works great. Rich not only took the time to explain thoroughly how the opener works with dos and don'ts, he also gave advice on maintenance and care of the overall garage door system.

It went very well. Everything is still working and still working well. The customer service and punctuality were all good as well. They did try to upsell a bit, but it wasn’t too bad.

The technician was knowledgeable, amiable and punctual, and communicated well by phone and in person.
