He returned my orignal voicemail promptly and called as he arrived so no surprises. He got to work right away and at end demonstrated the working door.

We were pleased. They followed up quickly, they scheduled the appointment, they showed up on time, he replaced some parts that I didn't even knew needed replacing and he did a good job. He adjusted both garage doors and they've lasted us since then. It was $90 a door so we spent $180.

Showed up and time, work done was great, and would use them again.

This worked out fine and we were happy with it. They were on time and they did the job they were supposed to do. It was good.

He was very thorough and did a very good job. He was running a little late, but he did communicate it to me, and made up for it with the great work he did. After he came, the garage door was acting up a little bit when the weather got very cold, but I called him, and he came out immediately and fixed it with no charge.

Time, plus pleasure, gives me this GREAT opportunity to address these few lines of thanks and commendation to Rich at American Doors, Inc. The "excellence" in customer service I received on Tuesday 5/13/14 from Rich is greatly appreciated. My garage door was opening up all by itself and had a mind of its own. I contacted American Doors, Inc. and was informed they provided free estimates. The company representative was willing to schedule an appointment for the same day. Rich was patient, understanding and thorough during the service visit to my home. Rich's perseverance in ensuring my problems were resolved is GREATLY appreciated. Rich arrived at my home, as scheduled. Rich was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. Rich took the time to assess, evaluate, reach a conclusion and provide an estimate on the work which needed to be performed. The logic board on my garage door opener was between going bad to being totally fried and inoperable. Rich informed me they no longer produce or have any available logic boards for my particular garage door opener. Rich removed and replaced my old garage door opener the same day and was well prepared, as he had a brand new replacement garage door opener on his truck which expedited the time it took for this job. In 1988, I started working at FedEx Express, which was the 1st company to ever receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for "Excellence in Customer Service". This award is now America?s highest honor for innovation and performance excellence. The Malcolm Baldrige Award is presented annually to U.S. organizations by the President of the United States. In conjunction with the private sector, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) designed and manages the award and the Baldrige National Quality Program. Tuesday's experience with Rich reminds me of why I was so proud to work for a company that also provides excellence in customer service. I worked at FedEx Express for over 25.5 years until March of 2014. Rich went above and beyond the call of duty, to ensure my technical issues were resolved in a satisfactory manner. I could not let another day go by without acknowledging the "outstanding" customer service I received from Rich and American Doors, Inc. In a world that has many challenges facing all of us, it's my honor to commend Rich and acknowledge a job well done! It turned out fine. I had to call them to get the work scheduled. They came out when they said they would. The guy was very helpful. After he left, we called because the pad stopped working. The person we spoke with over the phone was very nice and knowledge. He instructed us on how to basically re-install the security pad and get it back working

Went fine. The serviceman diagnosed that the broken components were too small to handle the weight of the door, so he replaced them with stronger items. After a couple of weeks the door malfunctioned. He came out right away and fixed a separate problem at no charge. Also should mention that on the day of his first visit he showed up at my house rather than the job site, which was my fault for not making sure that it was clear where the job site was. Despite the surprise and the half hour drive he was facing, the serviceman was very affable, and arrived on site not the least bit flustered. Competent, prompt, great attitude, good price. Can't beat that with a stick.

They were excellent. They called in a timely manner. They were out within two days and the work was done.

When we purchased a deal with this provider, they contacted us and apologized that they did not come out to our area. They were very nice and we got all of our money back. Very honest and of course Angie's List personnel were very helpful in making sure our refund got back to our card quickly. Talk about no stress! Just the way it should be

He arrived on time, was great to deal with, and did 10xs more than expected. I will call American Doors only for any garage door issues I have!!!

It took them a few days to get back to me, but they were on time when they said they were coming. Everything went fine. He was thorough and gave me some advice which contradicted the advice given to me by the person who installed the door. I was a little concerned about that. I did not pay more than the $79, but I was very surprised he did not give anything to sign to show that the work was done. He got into his truck and just left. I asked him a few questions, but I do not think he gave me what I consider satisfactory answers. For example, I told him that I was told not to use WD40 on the rollers of my garage door. I was told there is a specific lubricant for the rubber wheels. And he said he has been doing that for 20 years so he knew what he was doing. I was concerned because the person who installed it gave me specific instructions regarding that. So far every thing is fine and price was fair.

The service provider was timely and professional and we have had no issues since installation.

I ordered a garage door tune-up but by the time he got there it wouldn't open at all. He subtracted the check fee from the overall total and took a debit card for the difference. I was very pleased. He was professional and on time! Very nice man.

Scheduling was a bit slow. This is the first time I have used Angie's list, so maybe the timeline was ordinary. However, once I was able to contact Rich everything went perfectly. He was great -- fixed the problem on one door and tuned-up (for no additional charge) my two remaining doors. Definitely would recommend and would use again.

service person was very courteous and professional

After I complained, the guy came out immediately and did a wonderful. He was more than helpful, but I had to complain first. I didn't hear anything from them. When I signed up for it, I think it said we would hear from them within a day or two and we didn't hear anything for a while so then I got a hold of Angie's List and the next thing I knew he was calling. He covered everything in the price that I paid for it. He did a really good job. He was very friendly. He knew what he was talking about. He came in, ran the door a couple of times, identified that they needed a couple of rollers and went ahead and fixed it. It was good work. I will use him again in the future and I made sure that he posted the information by the garage door opener.

Work was excellent charged more than expected

It was fine...no problem. He installed what he came out to do...it was one time. He was very nice. He dealt actually with my husband so I really can't speak too much about that but it was fine. He did a great job. They worked through whatever it is that they needed to have done and it's been working fine ever since...so I'm not sure what more I could add but I would definitely call them again.

He repaired the overhead garage door and replaced a part.

It went fine. It was very quick. He just installed a keypad on the door and that was it. I won't be using him again because I have a regular garage door guy.

Explained everything to me and showed me what I needed to do to keep from having the sasme problem again. Price was fair and I would use him again if needed.
