Great service. Appointment scheduled right away. Came out for a tune up. He noticed a couple problems that were causing the panels to be buckling and to not move smoothly. He made the adjustments and added a strut to provide more support. Now the garage is quieter and moves more smoothly on the track. Only took 30 minutes or so. He even shoveled some ice away that was on the garage floor after the recent blizzard!

He took his time. He was methodical and cleaned up after himself. He made sure everything worked when he left. He was really particular about leaving everything done well. He was a really good guy. The door is working out great.

He did it pretty quick. He does a great job. He is a super nice guy. It was hard to schedule. It took a while to get that done but he did a great job. He was very personable. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

Someone from the company called me right away to schedule the appointment, they were very friendly and professional. Once we realized that we were in different states, the person advised as to how to get my money back. I was very happy with the interaction.

I (the wife) thought the door parts needed to be oiled to stop the terrible squeaks and rattles, after all, I had done my internet research! My husband, however, immediately noticed the spring was broken, and that is out of his league as far as repairs. In the past we had the "hit or miss" method of looking up names for various home maintenance needs on line or in local papers. I was done with that and the inconsistent results. So, we joined Angie's List, and saw the high recommendations for American Doors. I phoned Rich from American Doors at 9 am on a Saturday. He called back within an hour, and was at our home at 2pm that afternoon. He worked for 1 1/2 hours, explaining options and necessities to my husband. He was knowledgeable and we are satisfied. Absolutely give this man your business.

.Very good experience. Prompt iniitial contact. Came as promised. Worked efficiently. Discussed door operation. Checked operation and departed. Left nothing to clean up.

Technician showed me the problem areas and then replaced the needed parts. Prices were given for the cost of all or partial repairs. Area was left free of debris.

This was a good experience. He checked everything out and didn't find any problems. He greased the moving parts of the door(s), and I have to admit, now the doors are much quieter. Nicely done.

I placed the order for service not realizing that a family member had already taken care of it. However, I was pleased that I was contacted by American Doors very soon after placing the order.

Company was prompt and accomodating. My only minor complaint is that even after servicing, the door continues to make a lot of noise as if it's working too hard to lift the door.

He was very good and professional. I was very happy with the service.

We ended up not needing what the deal was for and they credited us and did a different kind of service. They completed the work in probably 40 minutes.

The provider caught the flu and missed the first appointment. I understand getting sick but I had to track him down to find out what happened. He should have had someone call his appointments and explain. The provider also didn't show up for the rescheduled appointment a week later. When I called he immediately responded and came out to my house. He explained he had a dentist's appointment. I understand that as well but I wish someone would have called to explain. Once the provider arrived, he performed in a skillful and professional manner and fixed the problem at a reasonable cost. I will assume these missed appointments were an aberration and will use him again.

My garage door was broke so I called this provider to come out to take a look. He told me he would call me the next day (Saturday) to set up a time to come out on Sunday. When I didn't hear from him by Saturday night, I called him again & left a message as to what time he was coming on Sunday. I never received a call back & I was totally blown off. I then called another company on Angie's list who was more than happy to get my business. I guess when you have a lot of reviews, you can pick & choose who you want to service, so a couple of F's won't bother them.

They are great to work with and very responsive. I have been using their services for the past two years. I like them a lot.

The service was ok. I did not get much out of it so not sure it's really worth the $79.

The Angie's List ad states they service Northwest Indiana. I just called and asked if they still service Northwest Indiana and the man stated "no we don't." Hopefully this will save someone else some aggravation. M

It was a Big Deal purchase. It didn't take them a long time to come out. They did a good job and I was very impressed. This was the first time we've used them. Even though we had a harsh winter, they were on time and we had no problems at all. They were very professional and the price was pretty good. I would use them again and I would recommend them to people.
