Description of Work: They installed an antenna, booster, and cabled up my TV for antenna and Dish network along with the CAT 5 connection so I can see Netflix etc. In high def. They did great work and cleaned up after themselves. The only issues that I have were they cut the power to the cable for the upstairs alarm panel. Not a major issue, but need to watch when cutting wires in the future. Additionally was told that I would receive a quote for another job once the check had cleared. It has cleared, and I still have not received the quote for the chase pipe alternative.

+ -1 moreOn the day of the installation, John and Corry called me from the road to confirm our appointment and to let me know the ETA, they reached my door right on time. I explained more fully what my concerns were and they got right to work. Within 2 hours I had incredibly sharp pictures on my TV's for some 40 channels without the cable! As for Plugged in, they demonstrated everything that I would want in any contractor. They were on time, respectful both to myself and my property, got the job done efficiently and correctly, the end result was as expected, for a reasonable price and it was all incredibly easy. I would recommend Plugged in completely.
Description of Work: My goal was cutting the cord with my cable subscriber and their needless high bills for essentially broadcast TV which is only really what we watched. I tired indoor antennas but they were not cutting it. I did some research about outdoor antennas and their installation but not being in vogue (don't understand why when you look at the cost of cable) I couldn’t find any locally available sources with anybody knowledgeable about their product behind the counter. The thought of ordering online from the dozens that are offered, installing it (which I already wasn’t looking forward to doing) only to end up with the wrong antenna and having to return things and start over was too much. So I contacted Plugged In to find out about having an outdoor antenna installed. John and I spoke about some installation particulars - I explained it was for a two flat in Chicago, and the antenna would be serving two TV's, one on each floor. John assured me that outdoor antennas work well in Chicago and I should easily be able to get all the major and minor channels with even greater clarity than with cable! We set an appointment for later that week.

They inspected the current antenna, laid out our options (use existing or replace), replaced the antenna with a new digital antenna, hooked up the new antenna to our cable lines, and took the time to make sure the signal was coming across well at the TVs we wanted to use.
Description of Work: Plugged in removed my old antenna from the roof, installed a new digital antenna, and hooked it up to my cable lines.

+ 0 moreI wanted to rid myself of cable TV and decided to cut the cord by the end of the year. John was the technician that came to my home to disconnect three cable boxes and to install an antenna on a mast in the attic, hook up four T.V.s, and mount a good sized flat screen in the basement. I could not be happier. All T.V.s work wonderfully and the flat screen was mounted perfectly on an articulating wall bracket. The service was efficient and everything was ready to go when he left. John responded quickly to my phone call to inquire and to set an appointment. John told me what equipment I required to get the end result I wanted and he was exactly right. He was friendly, professional, and showed me how to work all of equipment. He cleaned up after the work and put all of the cable boxes, cables, remotes, etc in a box for me. I was very happy with the work all the way around. I will be getting surround sound installed soon and I will be using Plugged In Audio Visual for that job as well. Highly recommended!

Description of Work: Very impressed with the experience of dealing with this company (also known as NET1). Came out right away, explained every aspect of removing and installing new antenna on roof. Was courteous, quick and thorough. Cleaned up afterwards and went the extra mile in replacing needed wire, plates etc. Price was extremely fair for removing the old, receiving and installing a new antenna. Would highly recommend.

+ -1 moreCorey was a great professional to have come over to our home and set up the antenna on our roof. He was even kind enough to come by the Saturday before the Bears kickoff game so we could have the game on Sunday! I bought the antenna myself, but Corey provided the mast which was factored into the final cost of the installation of the antenna. He was very courteous and even offered to conceal the antenna cord in the living room for free. I shopped around for providers and Plugged In had the best price and service. Now the quality of my television signal is awesome and I get all Chicago stations and Bears' football in glorious HD! I live out in McHenry so I was worried that I might not get the Chicago channels, but I get them just fine! If I ever have an antenna to setup again I'm calling Plugged In they were great!

Description of Work: Digitenna DUV-DF Deep Fringe 0-80 miles range TV antenna: $225.00; Installation Labor: $150.00; new coax cable:$6.00; tax:$21.37. I called Net 1, on your "TV Anetnna" list. The owner, Brian, has moved to Florida to start up a Net 1 there. He answered the phone # you supplied, told me he had sold his business here in Illinois to Plugged In Audio Video Inc here in Illinois and gave me their phone number. I called the next day, Saturday, May 19, and set up for them to come out on Monday, May 21, 2012. They were on time and 2 and a half hours later, our new digital antenna was installed, the old antenna taken down and dis-assembled, and hauled away. (It's unfair Net 1 has a "bad review" stuck on your list. Brian was very helpful. I would not have found this service provider without him.)

These services include: Flat Panel TV mounting, Surround sound, Theater rooms, Universal Remote Controls, Whole house multi-room distributed audio and video, Structured wiring, outdoor TVs and outdoor speakers. It doesn’t matter if your project is a prewire or retrofit, new construction or rehab, we have the tools, know how, specialty products, and the experience to get the job done right.
We do not offer any Factory service on customer existing A/V equipment. We have a relationship with a local repair shop that we can deliver your broken equipment to, and they can provide an estimate for repair. We can then reinstall the equipment for you after it is repaired.
If something is purchased from us and is still under warranty, then we will take care of it.
