Great River was very professional and contacted me very quickly after purchasing the deal. I worked with Roman, who asked me to explain what services I needed. After we agreed upon the priority, he let me know about how much of the list to expect that we could complete. Then we planned to try and schedule the work to get done as soon as the weather permitted. I the best and soonest day that Great River could come out, Roman made every effort to be available when it was most convenient for me. I was very impressed with this level of service. He showed up on time, asked many questions and was very good about keeping me engaged throughout the day with their progress. I highly recommend Great River and will be using their services again in the future.

They arrived on time even though I live in the suburbs and they had to drive out from the city. They came well equipped with all the tools necessary to accomplish my tasks. They were so friendly, willing and able to do everything that needed to be done. Reorganizing my basement and garage was no easy task. It was certainly more physically taxing than I could have handled. They took off their shoes as they went back and forth into the house and the garage, being mindful of my hardwood floors. They put together an étagère in the basement powder room. They made certain all the reinstalled shelving in the garage was secured so nothing would fall on top of me or my vehicles. After they had finished all the listed items, they saw that I had more shelving that could be used. Roman went to the hardware store to get what was needed to add another level of storage. His protégé even repaired an antique frame and saved an old family painting from the refuse pile. They cleaned up every work space. They loaded all the boxes that were going to charity into my vehicle saving me lots of pain and agony...I am so glad Angie's List concierge found Great Recover Construction for me.

Everything went as planned. Roman showed up with his helper.Both were efficient and professional and they finished everything as discussed. they went above and beyond to finish assigned tasks. For example, I asked them to fix the broken spindle of my Patio. In addition to doing that, they did additional work to secure it properly.

It was a good experience. The contractor arrived on time, clearly explained the process, went along to but material, kept track of work and time, did a diligent work on each job and finally did a complete clean-up.

Roman and his co-worker installed crown molding in my living room, dining room and first floor bedroom. They were punctual and detailed. They were considerate of the surroundings, laying out a large cloth to cut inside since it was raining. The deal was for 4 hours and he used that same rate to be applied for the extra time needed to do the entire project. He worked with me and kept me informed of the steps and possible extra time to do various other steps to complete the project. I was initially was going to paint the primed MDF molding I purchased at a later date, but he was able to do that quickly and very professional as well. I would consider him for other general contractor jobs including Wainscoting, kitchen remodeling or installation of new doors.

Roman did an excellent job in tight timelines and on budget. Our place looks awesome after the work was done. I called Roman for touch ups after the job was complete, he came back as soon as he could to do the touch ups. I would recommend him.

I am a very hard client to please. I can say without reservation -- Roman and his team were on time, considerate of our living space needs, extremely professional...and very, very flexible. Several times throughout the project things didn't go according to our plan and he shared his expert perspectives...worked with me on the details and followed through with a speedy implementation. He went above and beyond to work with our aggressive timeline. Also -- our condo building had very prescriptive guidelines for operating. Roman and his team communicated their needs and plan of attack on a daily basis so that I could smooth things over with the manager, neighbors and reserving the freight elevator. He is a straight forward guy and will tell you when things will and won't work. He expects a high standard for his team's work even if a lesser approach is acceptable by Code or industry standard. In the end -- he is client-focused and a master of the details. If you engage Roman, you won't be sorry...just sorry you didn't do it sooner! The results are beautiful!!
