Harold came out to my house with lots of samples and helped me pick out the right window treatments for my home. He is very informed about the product he sells and I feel I got a great price. He also did all the installation.

We attended a home show in Crystal Lake at the Holiday Inn in February 2015. Spent some time with them at their booth as they were friendly and very informative. A time was set for Harold to visit our house the following Friday evening for measurements and quote. Harold spent 4 hours with us and then wrote the order. Two weeks later he was back to install the window treatments. This was the best experience we have have had in our home improvement projects over 25 years. Professional, friendly, considerate and fair in all they do. We continue to recommend them. It was over 1 year of paper shades on our windows and shopping on-line, at retail stores and in home shopping quotes over that period of time. We wish we had found them sooner.

I talked to Marilyn on the phone. She was helpful and courteous. We scheduled time for her husband to come to my home for a consultation. Harold Blazek was incredibly knowledgeable about window treatment options. He presented me with ideas and options that were electronic and non-electronic. I was impressed with the selection and the samples the he brought to show me. I ordered a variety of window treatments. Mr. Blazek returned when my window treatments came in. He installed them quickly and efficiently. He then gave me a complete tutorial on how to use them, clean them and care for them. Warranty details were defined for me. I was extremely pleased with all the help I received.

Everything went very smoothly. The wait for the blinds had been only a few weeks. Very professional installation. Harold cleaned up after he was done and went over how to clean the blinds and little extra tricks from his experience on how to use them that were not in the Hunter Douglas printed materials. The blinds look great and provide just the right amount of privacy. The Blazeks (both Harold and Marilyn) are super friendly, courteous and professional and they have a wide selection of Hunter Douglas products. I've had other companies install blinds in our last house and had some problems and unfriendly installers. Not with the Blazeks. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who wants a good product that is professionally installed.

They were very nice. I didn't use them because they were too high. The owner named Gerald was very detailed about every aspect. A lot of time, he's going over about everything and he's a very professional, nice man.

I contacted Blazeks from a 'welcome to neighborhood' flyer that I had saved. They were easy to schedule, kind, and knowledgeable. My husband and I discussed with Harold our needs and he nailed it! We placed order, were called when they arrived, and scheduled an installation time. Now we are enjoying the product!

Harold Blazek spent all the time necessary to insure that he had measured our window correctly. He then took the time to explain all the fabric and mechanism options available for the particular installation and helped us make our choice. The installation was quite complex. Harold took his time and made sure the installation was to his and our satisfaction. He carefully explained the operation of the shade and well as recommended maintenance techniques.

Harold and Marilyn were truly a pleasure to work with - professional but warm and friendly. Harold does all the consulting, measuring and installing. For each visit he was actually early, had great samples and provided great suggestions. He's very knowledgeable and helpful. In the end, I had 7 Hunter Douglas honeycomb shades installed on my windows and a vertical glide shade on my patio door. While the whole project was a bit pricier than I hoped for, I felt like I really got my money's worth. The shades were a huge improvement to both rooms - I could immediately notice the difference in how sound carries in the family room. I'll be looking forward to see how well they conserve energy in the winter. VERY PLEASED!

Harold was very patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful in assisting us in picking out the type, color, style of window treatments for our townhome. He answered all of our questions and brought many samples for us to see. Would definitely do business with again!

Harold and Marilyn are excellent. Harold went to my house on Friday evening and it took him 3 hours to introduce products and measure. I was so impressed by his expertise and I didn't ask for other quotes. Three weeks later, they installed the shutters and homeycomb. They are very patient and told me and my mom how to use and maintain. They are pleasant and friendly, never push me to buy. We also ordered another shade over the door since we forgot it on his last visit. We will contact with them again for our bedroom shades.

Harold is a delightful man! His and Marilyn's customer service is top notch! We needed window treatments for our 4 bay windows, 5 picture windows, and patio doors. Harold provided valuable advice and a smooth installation for them all. Marilyn was very easy to contact for scheduling and answering questions. I was very impressed with this company from the beginning when Mr.Blazek, the owner arrived for the measurement appointment ahead of schedule. I was also impressed that they are a husband and wife team that have been in the business over 40 years. Mr. Blazek was very professional and helpful in our selection of window treatments. for our church. The price was right and I liked the fact that he does the measuring and installation himself. During the installation process he became aware that a part was missing from the factory. He promised that he would order the part and return to install it which he did in a timely manner. We plan to use this company again for other projects with our church and also for our personal use. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Harold made measurements, and gave me a quote during the first visit. I signed off on the order, and Harold filled out forms for me to get a rebate from Hunter Douglas. A few days later,I decided I wanted to add electric lift to one of my blinds. I called Marilyn and she said she would ask Harold to make the change. Then next day, Harold came to my house to tell me that Hunter Douglas does not make the electric option available for the style of shade I wanted, and patiently showed me another whole range of options. That's quick service! Harold knows Hunter Douglas products inside out. Installation went smoothly, and I'm VERY happy with the results.

Both Harold and Marilyn are extremely knowledgeable and helpful in making a decision for your blinds and assuring they are placed correctly throughout the home to look the best. They showed us various samples and explained the differences to assure that we made a purchase without any doubts in our mind. Ordering was easy and we had the blinds installed in less than 3 weeks from the time of appointment. Harold and Marilyn (his wife) were absolutley wonderful to work with. Harold came and gave me the estimate and helped me choose some of the window coverings and his suggestions proved to be perfect! I also had the painter scheduled to paint first. The painter was very busy and Marilyn was kind enough to hold my order until the painter was finshed and she advised me to wait until the paint was nice and dry......my advice: LISTEN TO MARILYN, she knows what she is talking about!!!!! When the time was appropriate, Harold came and installed all the window covering. He is a perfectionist and such a pleasure to have in my home. He explained how to properly adjust the new coverings and made sure I knew what I was doing. I have a 3 season room and I assure you, Blazek will be the one I call when I am ready to replace those window shades!!

My husband and I met the Blazeks at a home show and were impressed with the extensive array of Hunter Douglas products they had on display. Harold and Marilyn asked thoughtful questions about our rooms and showed us many different products. In our previous home we had plantation shutters and felt they would go well in our newly remodeled master bedroom and bath. We made an appointment at the show for Harold to come out to measure and bring samples. Harold arrived very promptly and brought a very well-designed kit that allowed him to show us many different options such as louver width and frame design. After selecting a style, Harold expertly measured our windows and also gave us an estimate for another window in a different room. He told us that his wife, Marilyn, would return with him to install the shutters. On installation day, Harold and Marilyn arrived promptly and brought all the packaged items into our house. They were very organized in unpacking and had a system in place to sort paper, plastic and trash. The pieces were carried upstairs to the bedroom and after the first shutter was installed I was called in to take a look. Gorgeous! One of the biggest reasons we chose the Blazeks is that they are Master Installers and have such a wealth of experience with their Hunter Douglas products. The rest of the window shutters were installed beautifully. My husband and I are thrilled with how they look and have peace of mind that they are installed properly. The next morning in different light I saw a factory defect on the small bathroom shutter door. I called Marilyn and she asked me to send her a few pictures. After looking at the pictures, she took charge and called the factory right away. A new door frame has been ordered and the Blazeks will install it when it arrives. Their commitment to excellence and customer service cannot be overstated. I would definitely recommend the Blazeks to anyone interested in window coverings.

The initial appointment went very well. They were on time, prepared and ready to move ahead. Everything was explained and every expectation they set with us was met. Mrs. Blazek showed up to walk us through our options and then her husband came to provide us even more detail. They explained everything in detail and gave us very good recommendations. Mr. Blazek did the install and it was done perfectly. He even went so far as to explain how to clean, maintain and a thorough explanation on how to operate the blinds. They also offered their advice if we ever wanted to call them or if we ever had trouble to drop them a line and they would help. Excellent, Excellent service and products.
