Owner-operated. Specializing in Hunter Douglas products and custom made draperies and top treatments. Being a husband & wife team we offer our knowledge and experience to provide customer satisfaction. We come to your home to help you select the correct treatment for each window. For insured quality your windows will be measured and installed by Harold & Marilyn Blazek. We have been in the window covering business for 53 years and are certified Master Installers trained by Hunter Douglas. This guarantees you years of satisfaction with your new coverings. Offering discounts along with consumer rebates. We sell service and install only Hunter Douglas products. We do not install or service any other window coverings. Free measuring. Free installation. October 25th Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm October 26th Sunday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Consumer Showcase at SunCity Huntley in the Del Web Lodge. October 30th Thursday 9:00am to 4:00pm. This is a one day only show. The Chicago Home Show at the Holiday Conference Center in Crystal Lake. November 1st Saturday to November 2nd Sunday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Come see our new display and fabrics. We look forward to showing our new energy saving products and new child safety lifting systems along with the new Gen3 Powerview. We bought Hunter Douglas silhouette Power View blinds. Both Harold and Marilyn were very helpful in us making our decision. Both were very timely in their communications and their appointments. Harold was very professional, personable and gave good advice when he came to our home for the consultation. He was great in the installation too. We had a minor issue with the blinds a month later and when I spoke to Marilyn she was very helpful on the phone, but Harold still needed to come out and check on the blinds. There wasn't any fuss over our issue, it was just corrected. I will definitely go back to Blazeks for future Hunter Douglas blinds. Oh and they know more about Hunter Douglas than the big box stores. It was a wonderful experience.

Absolutely so happy that I found Blaseks Home Furnishings. They were so professional, knowledgeable, friendly people who took the time to make sure that we were completely satisfied. From initial design consultation, though installation was absolutely seamless. Their experience and pride in their work and for the company puts a great face and advocate for Hunter Douglas. We also had custom window treatments made. The experience and talent was phenomenal. Could not recommend them enough!

Maryland Blazek. She was very honest and she had excellent ideas. She gave me suggestions on how I could hang my drapery rugs without hiring someone on her end and spending a lot of money. she had gave an advice for a handyman to cut the drapery rug and hung it up. That's what our handyman did and it looks great.

This was not our first experience with Harold and Marilyn Blazek. We have come to expect prompt service, sound advice and fair pricing from Blazek's. Once again, we were not disappointed. Our window was measured and we were shown product suggestions and placed a custom order on Harold's first visit. Our product was delivered and installed about 6 weeks later. It's just what we ordered and was installed perfectly. You can't go wrong with Blazek's Home Furnishings!

Very well. It was obvious early on that a repair wasn't possible. Harold didn't push me to replace more than I needed and worked with me to find the best replacement match possible. This was tricky because the original brand is now out of business. But he looked at all options, even calling Hunter Douglas twice to check on some details that I never even thought of. While I was warned that some orders were taking up to 8 weeks to be filled, mine was ready in 1 week. Harold came and installed the new blind and you'd never know it was a replacement for a different brand. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again if the need arises.

Harold Blazeks did a wonderful job in repairing our shades. Their price was fair and he completed the repairs in 1 hour. We met Harold and Marilyn at a home and garden show. They were showing the Hunter douglas luminette vertical blinds, Harold came to the house and was very interested in our needs, he point out features that improved the final product's appearance, which made us very pleased. After we purchased, Marilyn followed up with information concerning our order progress. Harold came to do the installation, everything was done in a very clean and professional manner, we highly approve of Blazeks home furnishings.
