The Blazeks were delightful and highly professional to work with. Harold was prompt and explained everything to us. We used them a second time as we were so pleased the first time. Without any hesitation, I would have anybody who needs this type of service to use the Blazeks. We will be calling them for a third time as we have more windows to cover.

Harold came out and measured the window and showed me a samples the shades. He answered all the question I had and showed me a new product I didn't know about. I liked the shade so I purchased one. the order came in a reasonable amount of time and he installed it and showed us how to operate it. Doing business with Blaseks was very easy and I would recommend to a friend.

The whole experience went as expected. This was the first time we purchased Hunter Douglas window treatments. I was impressed with a number of little things Harold pointed out about each unit. We are extremely happy with the units, and will be calling the Blazeks in the future.

Harold and Marilyn did the window treatments for my old home back in 1998, and they did a fabulous job. So when I moved again and needed window treatments for every room in the new house, I called them again. They had my files from the 1998, so they knew my tastes. Harold came out and showed me both the stuff I had before and new products from Hunter Douglas, and he spend over 3 hours walking the rooms, taking measurements, and discussing our needs. He and Marilyn came out 3 weeks later when the shipment arrived and installed everything in one day. They explained how to take care of our new window treatments, how to make adjustments if needed, and everything looks absolutely beautiful! They are a great team, and I love how well they listened to our needs and gave us advice. I'd definitely recommend Marilyn and Harold!

We had been shopping for blinds for 14 windows in our living room, dining room, and kitchen, but none of the designers or sales people we talked to could come up with satisfactory solutions for a couple of oversize windows.. Harold had a thorough knowledge of his product line, and was able to come up with the right products. He was very professional and helpful in the selection process, measuring, installation, and follow up when we had a small issue a few months later. We were so satisfied that we had him come back and install 2 more blinds in our bedroom. We definitely would use him again, and have given his name to some of our friends who were in the market.

Our experience with Blazeks Home Furnishings met all our expectations and Harold was a professional from start to finish. Blazeks was very thorough in informing us about our product selection and what might be best for our needs. We have a great deal of wood trim in our home around all the windows for which we were concerned. Harold took care in that as well as all areas of our home, and attention to detail was given in every aspect of the install. One of the motorized shades that arrived did not cooperate at the time of install, but was reordered and installed as soon as it came in. We are not unhappy with any part of our experience with Blazeks.

Marilyn Blazek was pleasant and knowledgeable and spent a good deal of time helping me find just the right treatment for my living room in just the right fabric. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.

Excellent. Everything was done correctly with no mistakes. This was a pretty big job and it was excecuted perfectly.

We ordered multiple blinds and wood cornices from Blazeks Home Furnishings. The familiarity with the blinds was excellent. The wood cornices were definately new territory- most aspects of the order had to be looked up or Hunter Douglas called to make sure that all the measurements were done correctly. The extra time was worth it though as they came back absolutely gorgeous! The only aspect that was not addressed was if the previously purchased electric blinds would work with the cornice over them - they did. However, there was no access to the batteries that need to be replaced yearly, so we had to send the blinds out for an "upgrade" at our expense. We also had a custom fabric headboard cover and a fabric valence made which were done beautifully. They do a good job and the prices seem fair, the problem is they love to talk story.

I was at a spring home show in my area and Blazeks Home Furnishings had a booth at this show. I had seen other vertical blinds that were curved in shape at some big box home retailers, but they looked cheap. The curved blinds at the Blazeks booth were from Hunter Douglas and were very well made. I wanted the curved blind with a fabric pattern because they have the look of drapes when closed. Harold Blazek who is one of the owners of the company along with his wife Marilyn answered all of my questions I had about the blinds. We set an appointment for Mr. Blazek to come out and measure and give us an estimate. He brought numerous samples, explained all of the features of the blinds, gave us suggestions on how the blinds are usually installed for proper appearance, and then asked us on how WE Would want the blinds to look as far as width and height when installed. There was no hard sell approach during this process. We ordered the blinds and were told it would take about four weeks to receive them. A the end of the fourth week I contacted them and spoke to his wife Marilyn (Another thing I like about this company is when you call them, you speak directly to the owners of the company). She told me she would find out about our order and get back to me. She got back to me the same day I called and found out exactly where my order was. She called a couple of days later to set the install date. Mr Blazek is a master installer and does all of the installations personally. Mr Blazek showed up on time for the installation. It took approximately three hours for the installation process. The materials used for the blinds, used to operate the blinds and install the blinds is of the highest quality and watching Mr. Blazek install the blinds he is definitely a master installer. Mr. Blazek is a very courteous gentlemen, answered all of our questions during the install, and explained all of the instructions on how to operate and care for our blinds. All packaging material from the blinds was collected by Mr. Blazek and placed into neat piles for my easy removal to the trash. A couple of days after the installation I had noticed that the spacing on one set of blinds was uneven, This was around six o'clock in the evening and I left a message about this on the company's answering machine. About a half hour later I was contacted by Mr. Blazek. I described the problem and he figured out the problem. The factory has installed too many blinds on the rod. There were supposed to be 16 but we had 18. Mr. Blazek re-ordered a new rod from the factory the very next day. I would highly recommend Blazeks Home Furnishings. I did not compare any prices with any other big box home stores or any other home furnishing stores that install blinds, but the quality and service you receive from Blazeks in my opinion far exceeds any price difference there might be.

I purchased Roman shades for eight tall narrow windows in my family room. I had lived without window coverings in this room for eight years, because I wasn't sure what I wanted to put up. I spoke with Marilyn in late September to schedule an in-home appointment. I had purchased window treatments from Blazeks eight years ago, and in a few minutes Marilyn pulled my file and verified my current information. I explained what I was looking for, which she passed along to Harold. Harold came to my home a day or two later, right on time. He explained the pros and cons of two products I was considering. He demonstrated how the products worked, then showed me samples of the perfect Roman shades for my windows, with inside mount and the top down/ bottom up feature I was looking for. He also showed me different ways to view the samples, against the window and against the wall next to the woodwork , to help me visualize how the finished product would look in my room. In exactly two weeks from the day that I ordered my shades, Harold returned to my home, right on time again, and installed the shades perfectly. Both Marilyn and Harold are extremely courteous and professional. Harold absolutely knows his products and helped me choose the perfect solution for my windows. Harold also arrives with a picture ID displayed on his shirt, so there is no question about who is at the door. I highly recommend Blazeks Home Furnishings.

They were able to come up with the right products to solve our needs. We have an unusual size and shape of windows and none of the companies that we talked to were able to do the work. I will recommend Blazeks Home Furnishings to other people.

I’ve used them for twenty years. Their pricing was competitive. They were efficient and had good product knowledge. They also gave attention to detail. I would recommend them to the others and tell the others to just use them. I would use their services again in the future.
