Rob, the technician who came out, identified that our problem was mice getting in our attic by climbing up our air conditioners rubber- covered pipe. He baited the attic and surrounding area and told us how to fix the opening by the air conditioner. He did a thorough inspection of our attic and roof to make sure there were no other openings where mice could get in. Jane called several weeks later to make sure the problem had been solved. I would definitely call them again if I had another wildlife problem.

After two years of squirrels chewing on house exterior and getting into attic, I had spent too much $ on other pest/wildlife control services with no success. AmPest was terrific -- if I have other wildlife problems in the future, will only use AmPest!

Description of Work: We had a problem with mice. In the first visit Lennie inspected and set traps. He came back about 2 weeks later and collected traps and sealed up all of the areas he identified as places where they could get in.

When I called AMPEST they were able to come out the next day and determined that a family of squirrels had taken over the attic. Dan fully explained the process and followed-through on everything he said he would do. He was friendly and timely, and I was able to reach him for the day-to-day return scheduling. Description of Work: About about four weeks ago we heard noises in our attic from raccoons. I called cook county animal control and they recommended a company (I will not name). This company basically just put one trap outside in the landscape and came by once a week to check the traps (usually after I called/begged him to come out). This went on for three weeks and then he disapeared. I then went on-line and after research/reviews, I called Jane @ Ampest and was very impressed with how kind she was in answering all of our questions. She said that she would send Ron to meet with us. Ron came out this morning and he exceeded our expectations with how truly concerned he was with our problem. He marched right up in the attic and determined that two traps should be put in the attic (the other company refused to go in the attic). Ron said he would be on vacation starting at 4:00 pm today but that there would be another trapper that would come out every day for the next six days to monitor the situation. We really wished it was Ron to come out for the next 6 days but he gave us assurance that we would get good service. He left me his cell phone number and said to call him if we had any questions or concerns. Well tonight at about 9:00 pm, my 70 year old mom woke up in tears and was petrified with the noises that were coming out of the attic. She has some health issues and I tried to calm her down. She feared that the raccoons would come crashing down through the ceiling. She asked me for Ron's cell phone number and she called him (even though it was 9:00 pm and Ron was suppose to be on vacation caring for his father). He answered the phone and recognized how frightened my mom was and he said he would be right over. He was at our house within 20 minutes (9:20 pm). Ron is not only an expert at what he does but he also has a tremendous heart. He was able to calm my mom down and assure her that the raccoon situation will be resolved soon and not to worry about it crashing through the ceiling. You would have thought Ron was talking to his own mother with the way he treated her. He is truly a God send! I wanted to give Ron a cash tip but he refused to take it. I have never met anyone that went out their way like that. Ron, like my mom said to you, may God Bless you! I would also like to say thank you and may God Bless you! Description of Work: They called me the same day, came out for an appointment a couple cays later. The technician sprayed for a bumble bee nest and assured me that if the bees re-appear in the same space, they will redo the job without charge.

Description of Work: I would definitely use this company again. They sprayed the inside and outside of our home for ants. The service took less than an hour and the representative was informative and punctual. We would highly recommend this company!

Description of Work: I was looking for a new company to provide exterminating services and called Ampest since they were local and had a few A-grade ratings with Angie's List. Their representative came on time and sprayed in and around the house for preventative treatment. He was friendly and professional. I plan to use them again in about another three months.
