Owner took my check and said he had to order a part. For over a month, he would not call me back or update me. Home warranty company had a hard time getting him to call them back. About 1 1/2 months later he shows up with the part, installs it, and the oven didn't work. He was stumped. He had to order something else. Then he was MIA for several more weeks. No updates either. It was awful! Especially since Thanksgiving was coming quickly. Our home warranty company called someone else after this company didn't service the contract. I didn't have to pay another service fee but I paid dearly with patience! I would never recommend this company to anyone. If you decide to use him, I hope your experience is better than ours. If you decide to not use him, you have a 100% chance of getting a better contractor!
Description of Work: Called in late August or early September by our "then" home warranty company to fix our oven. He did not fix it.

I don't usually respond to bad/false reviews but I will for this one. What was the repair in question? A knob on an older oven, the numbers were wore off the knob. The knob was a special order item due to the age and brand of oven and yes it took a little longer to get it. Often home warranty customers assume we will replace an appliance if it has repeated repairs, that is not our function. The rest of the review I don't understand and yes "stumps" me. Not being able to read the numbers on a knob? So let us state the obvious, this was a home warranty repair meaning the customer did not pay for the repair and did not hire us or have any input on the repair because it was a home warranty repair. If any additional work or new problems occur the customer contacts the home warranty and they then contract another company to do the work. Simple? Look at the repair date and the review date and determine why almost a year later.

Description of Work: He came and gave me good advice, then he said he would order a part and put in a water filter in the back of the refrigerator but he never came back. He didn't charge me for coming though. He was a nice guy but I don't understand why he didn't return.

Description of Work: Our washer had a leak and continued to fill. He cleaned out a tube that regulated the fill level. Called him back a few days letter because the washer still leaked at no charge. He found the problem was a leak from the tub. He said it was not worth fixing. | |We are waiting for a part for our refrigerater to come in. He said he'd call when the part came in.

Description of Work: Randy was able to come out the next day, arrived 10 minutes early and was extremely professional. He was willing to go the extra mile to diagnose the issue with our range, ordered the part while on-site and gave an estimate much lower than we expected. He called as soon as the part arrived (3 days) and was back to complete the repair within the estimate. He gave suggestions on the care of not only our range but other kitchen appliances and even looked at our garbage disposal that was very noisy, suggested we needed a new one and showed us how to replace it ourselves. Awesome service!! Randy will be the first repair person I call. I recommend him to anyone who needs appliance repair.

Branden came out and got it working and educated me on how I can prevent this from happening again in the future. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I called around before making my appointment and found Basin to be the best deal for the top notch service. VERY IMPRESSED
