Basin Appliance Repair

Good. Just need a little better communication when parts are ordered. He came the first day I called, but didn't get back to me on when the part would be in for 10 days which left me wondering if he was going to finish the job.

I emailed 5 company's and in fairness they were the only one that emailed back... saying they would be there Wednesday morning. I emailed back asking what time and how much? No response. I emailed two more times and when I didn't here anything by 8:48 Wednesday morning. I emailed them back and canceled. I gave them a C for professionalism because they responded initially and then just sort of went away.

TERRIBLE=I CALLED, HAD TO REALLY TALK INTO GETTING HIM TO COME=HE DID NOT KEEP THE APPOINTMENT MADE=I LEFT HIM SEVERAL MESSAGES=HE ANSWERED NONE OF THEM=NEVER SHOWED UP=NEVER CALLED=I WILL NEVER USE ANGIE'S LIST AGAIN IF THIS IS THE KIND OF SERVICE OR LACK OF SERVICE.

I called them with a Samsung dryer that wouldn't stay running. He came out same day which was the ONLY good thing about this experience. He looked half-assed at the appliance and said "oh, its gotta be the circuit board" ... he followed that with telling me he'd order the part and be back in a week ... that was over 2 weeks ago now. I've called several times, as has my husband. NEVER do they pick up & even after several voicemails they NEVER call back. Apparently they don't need the business.

After taking a quick look at both my dishwasher and dryer, he said he had to order a part and would be back - that was 6 weeks ago. I have called multiple times and left multiple messages. On 7-18-18, he finally answered the phone and was unsure of his visit to me and then discovered the "part" had not come in. This is very frustrating. I have given many opportunities to make this right and he, again, is not answering my calls. I would not recommend this company.

When my dryer broke under warranty, Electrolux contracted with Basin Appliance Repair to come and fix it. He arrived on time - which is about the only positive thing that I can say. He spent just a couple minutes looking at the dryer - pushed the button and determined that it needed new computer boards. He said that he would order them and be back in about a week to complete the repair. 6 days later I had not heard from him so I called to leave a message with my phone number (instead of my husband's who was out of town). I never heard back. I left a message the next day as well. I never heard anything. I sent an email the following day requesting a call just to confirm he had the correct contact information. Again, I never heard from him. Over the next week, I contacted Electrolux several times trying to get a service update. They were unable to make contact with Basin either. Two weeks went by and I FINALLY got him on the phone. I gave my name and said I had been expecting him to return my call for quite a while. In one breath he said that he cancelled my call for service and hung up on me. I have never received such poor customer service. He was not thorough in his problem diagnosis. He was not professional or courteous in providing a return phone call or service update. He was down right rude in hanging up on my w/o explanation. He never actually provided the service he was contracted for. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Fixed my problem quickly professionally and inexpensively.

It was quick and painless. Our range was bolted to the floor and sides, but Randy had no problem getting range out to complete repair work required in the back. He was a pleasure to work with.

This is rather hard to rate. It started off on the right track and then went belly up. I paid Angies the required $39.00 and then called to set up an appointment. Randy, the owner, came out. The problem with the stove was it just didn’t heat up to the required setting. A fan would intermitently turn on and cool down the oven. At any rate Randy found the thermostat needed to be re-calibrated. He did that but still had a problem. He then changed a sensor. Seemed ok but remember this was an intermittent problem. But we figured we would wait and see. I paid an additional $96.00. We tried the stove an hour later, same problem. Called Randy and left a message. He didn’t get back to me until the next day. He came out the following day, went through another round of trouble shooting. He “thought” he found the problem and off he went. No charge for that visit. My wife tried cooking dinner...same problem. Now here’s where I’m upset. I called him back and to this date he never returned my call. Done deal. And this happened over Christmas. We tried using the stove for a Christmas prime rib dinner. Destroyed the roast!!! I understand it was a tricky repair. But to never get back to me just wasn’t right. So I’m out $135.00, a $47.00 prime rib, and a stove. We went out a bought a new one.

When my washing machine stopped working, I choose to contact Basin Appliance based on the positive Angie's List reviews this business received. They did not disappoint. Randy's response time was great, He arrived promptly, and quickly diagnosed the issue with my machine. He is very knowledgeable and offered several reasonable repair options. His company offered an affordable service call coupon as well. I will contact Basin Appliance again for my appliance repair needs.

Well. He thought it was only some food that was stuck in the dishwasher disposal. He found there to be little or no noise coming out when he tested it.

Very well, my oven works great, and just in time for my Thanksgiving baking!

Great. Plus he gave us good pointers on getting the best results from our older dishwasher.

He came into my home, handed me his business card. He turned my washer on and listened to it. Said it was a bearing and it would cost $900 to fix. (I told him I could buy a new one for that price). I called another Appliance Repair out the next day and they fixed it a lot cheaper. I ate the $39 voucher and won't call him back.

We had been told our refrigerator could not be fixed, but we thought a second opinion (for Angie's special $39.00 rate) was not unreasonable. Randy fixed our wonderful old frig in ten minutes time! Very professional and got here exactly when he promised. We couldn't be happier. Thanks Angie! He only charged us for parts.

Work was done professionally and on time.

Owner Randy Bailey was punctual, clearly knowledgeable and efficient. He answered all of my questions, gave options and let me choose what would work best for me. He replaced the bushing and charged a very reasonable price. He was friendly and personable. I would definitely use him for future appliance repair.

Randy responded quickly, fixed the problem and gave me excellent advice about preventing the same problem in the future. Great customer service! This is the second time I have used this company, and will call them again in the future. Very dependable and honest.

The technician fixed the problem and gave me advice on how to maintain and avoid future problems. He also ask if I had any other appliance issues since he was there and assisted with my refrigerator filter. Work was fast and efficient. Tech was polite and professional.

Very honest told us it would be better to buy new washer because of cost.

The technician arrived promptly at the appointed time, analyzed the problem and had the stove part in his service truck to repair the malfunctioned range switch. The overhead light switch presented minimal problem to fix and that took just a few minutes.

Service call was great. Friendly and very professional. Problem explained and fixed. Felt very safe. Excellent information provided. Was able to go to a recommended site and purchase a dryer screen for more than $10.00 less than any other supplier. Will use this business again, for certain.
