Description of Work: Informed me I had an "outdated and not up to code" dryer hose. I find that hard to believe due to the dryer is less than 3 years old. But, I have no way to prove it....so I paid the additional $69 for him to put another hose that looked exactly like the one he replaced. At my house less than 30 minutes, and needed to use the restroom. Felt it was unprofessional.

At Dryer Vent Wizard we always strive to provide our customers with the very best and most thorough service possible. As you know, we did a complete inspection with a written estimate of what we recommended based on what we found to make your vent system safe and more efficient. You requested that we replace your foil transition piece with our "Wizard Flex", as we recommended, which is an aluminum ribbed ducting that is UL listed with a Zero flame spead rating. This is the equivalant of Semi-Rigid but is much more forgiving and meets International Residential Code (IRC) requirements. The back of most every dryer today has a sticker from the manufacturer under WARNING: Fire Hazard, "Use a heavy metal vent. Do not use a plastic vent. Do not use a foil vent. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or fire." I am sorry that you were not completely satisfied with our service. If there is anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate to give me a call.
