Description of Work: Our furnace went out around the middle of April and after having a repair service out we discovered we would need a new furnace. We had 3 quotes done and Alpine had the best value. They did great work and so far we are very pleased with our new furnace and central air. We did have to wait about 2 weeks before they had any openings for the installation. This was disappointing because it was still cool enough to need the heat at night. We were also told they were waiting for the inspector to come before they left after installing and a couple of hours later they said they were done and packed up and left but never said anything about the inspector and my husband never saw him. Now, about a month later, the inspector is calling us to make an appointment to inspect it.

Description of Work: Did a tough retro-fit into an older electric heat home. System installed is quiet and works well.

Description of Work: Had a furnace breakdown over a weekend, of course. Called these guys in on a Saturday to fix it. Competent call center to report problem, fast response, nice technician, professional attitude. And I called in early enough on Saturday morning that they were kind and waived the weekend extra charge or additional service charge. Total bill was under $150.

Description of Work: The temperature had dropped to -12. I woke up at 2:30 am and noticed our furnace had stopped working. I called Alpine at 3 am, and but 4 am we had a technician at our home. Problem solved! Great customer service.

Description of Work: They came out to my house and installed proper venting for a water heater which was not correctly vented when installed. Once I was able to explain what I needed, it all went very smoothly. I don't remember what it cost but the price seemed reasonable for the work performed.

Description of Work: Alpine installed air conditioning for us. The house already had forced air and was plumbed for AC right down to the hook-up outside, but they had to do some adjustments to connection with the furnace. The cost might be different depending on your specific needs. It's a hefty chunk of change, but certainly something that improves home value. Although I'm not a fan of cranking up the AC to arctic temperatures, it does help a lot to cool off the house before bedtime. | |Alpine was booked out a ways when we arranged to have AC installed, but they arrived promptly on the day as planned, informed us of each step before they took it, and providing a payment plan (which helped a lot). Several technicians worked on the job and they were unfailingly polite, hard-working, and more than tolerant of my two kids curiously watching their every move. I will definitely use their services again as necessary.

Description of Work: Due to some remodeling that we are doing in our basement, we had a serious dust problem and our furnace went haywire. Called Alpine and even though it was late in the day, end of the week, they sent someone up to service our furnace and get it working right again.
