I called to have a mini-split recharged. It still had a partial charge, but needed less than half a pound of r410 refrigerant. They charged me $79 (diagnostic fee) to tell me what I already knew... that it was low on coolant. And quoted me $1,100 to charge "up to 4 pounds" of refrigerant. ELEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS?? The tech told me it's a "flat rate". I called Conan who came and did it for $119. (INCLUDING DIAGNOSIS). Alpine lost a customer because of this.

CO leak detected and replacement heat exchange was installed quickly under warranty.

Took about 1 1/2 to find the problem but he worked hard at fixing it

Alpine heating installed our AC unit about 2.5 years ago. We have renters in our house now and they were having troubles with the AC cooling the house so I called them to come out and service the unit. They came out the next day and got it taken care of and the unit ran great. My renter got in touch with me last week stating that the unit wasn't cooling again. Contacted Alpine and they had someone out at the house an hour later to check it out.

Quality of workmanship is excellent - all seams sealed in all ducting, sheet metal work is all custom to the project and fits in well. Priced competitively.

I also like the quality of the job. Only quibble was there were a few times when it took awhile to get questions answered, but I expect much of this was due to the busy season. Overall I'd recommend them.

Cost was explained up front when I made the service call. Service and repair were done on the day I called. Post maintenance air monitoring of heating ducts was performed to ensure furnace was working safely. Preventative maintenance program (about 1/2 cost of service call) was explained. I would recommend Alpine heating and AC to a friend.

I had called several different people to try and get someone to come look at our furnace and nobody could make it until the following day. When I called this place Tom was on his way into town from another job and stopped over to look at the furnace within the 1/2 hour. He knew what the problem was and said he could fix it by just going across town to get the part. He was very prompt and knowledgeable. We will definitely call him again. We actually had Jewel Electric come out and look at it and they said we would have to replace the entire furnace! Wow I'm glad I didn't listen to them.

They knew what they were doing. Since then, we have them in every year for maintenance checkups. Service people and staff are always polite and professional. They don't send someone out that is not trained for the system that needs to be work on. I would not choose them for cleaning ducks as I think their price is too high. But for everything else, they would be my first choice.

Strived to maximize my rebate from manufacturer for failed heat exchanger on old furnace. These guys will now be my go-to company for maintenance and repairs!

The job was completed in two days, on time with little fuss. They worked with me to get the kitchen unit installed in the best location. The kitchen unit cools the front room and kitchen nicely. The work was done professionally and efficiently. A good experience.

It went very well. They were very thorough in their bid visit and have returned this year to replace a recalled part.

This actual service was fine. My complaint is they installed the system. Why didn't they put a $50 surge protector to protect the $800 ECM? They placed the system in new construction, which didn't cool the house. I had to pay an additional $3500 to get the system to work. Shouldn't I have a reasonable expectation that they would provide a system that would adequately cool the house, and protect sensitive electronics to begin with? As I see it they did not perform due diligence to initially design and provide an adequate HVAC system to the new site. They are quite willing to take additional money to fix the system defects after the fact, but they don't stand behind their original system and they don't provide adequate analysis to ensure their HVAC system would effectively work.

Worst experience I have ever had with a company. They never once showed up when they said they would and were awful at returning calls. Not to mention they did a horrible job on the things they were supposed to fix and didn't do half of the things that were promised to me. After they came out and did half of the repairs while we were not here I called them to see when the rest of the repairs would be done. I have still never heard back from them but received a bill in the mail for all the repairs. I still have no idea where my dryer vents out. We switched to another company.

They gave an estimate that was not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Their estimates were done by people who obviously had done similar work previously. On the day of the installation they had 6 guys come in to do it. It was obvious they had worked together as a team. Fantastic work from start to finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone that had Heating or A/C work.

Originally I called looking for parts for my old furnace. Derek answered the call and took all my information around noon on the 13th of November. At 3:00, he called me back to apologize for taking so long, and to let me know he was still trying to track down the correct parts for my furnace. At the time, it was just the fan. He called me back again just after 6:00, after business hours, to let me know the good news and the bad news. The good news was that he was able to track down the parts. The bad news was that they had been discontinued 3 separate times, had different model numbers, and were ridiculously expensive. He offered to come out the next morning to take a look and give me some options for repair or replacements. The next morning, he was right on time, and was able to check things out. He gave me an estimate for an 80% efficiency and a 95% efficiency furnace as well as discussing repair costs for those furnaces. He gave me 3 options for brands and also cost generalities for repair on those. I discussed things with my husband and by Friday we had decided which furnace to order. I worked that day and was unable to call until 5:00 that evening. Derek answered again and I spoke with him regarding what we had decided. He was able to order the furnace, schedule the install, and get all the paperwork done by the following Tuesday. That happened to be the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. The installers showed up with Derek promptly at 9:00 and were done by 12:00. They hauled the old furnace off and cleaned up after themselves. They forgot the paperwork for the warranty and Derek brought to me within the hour. Overall, their customer service is far superior to most I have seen. I work in the retail industry and am always pleased to find people who enjoy helping other people. In this instance, they were the cheaper option. Maybe in another they wouldn't be. Either way, we would use them again, even if it meant we had to pay more. They were timely, efficient, and pleasant.

Went great. We called around for estimates. They are the only ones that would come give us a estimate for free. Then they came right over and went right to work. Fixed what we needed and helped us learn how to fixed some of the problems our self.

Called this morning, he had time between appointments and was over here by 12:30. New house to me and he inspected and started garage furnace.

We called Alpine Heating and they came to our house on the same day and fixed the problem. They were prompt, attentive, and professional.... and the price was reasonable. They even accepted the coupon off of Angie's List. Definitely would use them again.

Wonderfull. They added some new air ducts which have made our house uniform in heating and cooling for the first time ever.

Our heater was not working correctly so, the technician cleaned the furnace and everything is fine. The cost was a little high for service (easy).

Andrew, the service tech, replaced the blower motor in my gas fireplace. Considering yhat he had to make a trip out to find out the brand (some obscure brand) of the fireplace, order the parts, return again for the installation and the clean the unit I thought the price was reasonable. Very friendly individual who did the work in a very professional manner. Would use them again.
