Service Tech: service tech was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient from initial listening to the problem we were experiencing all the way through the repair process. Visit Summary: Diagnosed and repaired issue with the dual zone control on one of our homes A/C units. Issue has been present over a year and continually getting worse. Another HVAC company tested this and found no issue, but Diamond was able to identify the problem with the dampener control which was causing [essentially] no airflow to our bonus room. The service tech had to run to get a replacement part, but returned promptly to complete the repair.

It is great. I would use them again in the future.

Called service provider at 7:30 am with a shutdown furnace, and they were at my house by 8:30am. Contact on the phone was helpful, clear, and friendly. Repairman was polite, punctual, knowledgeable, and efficient. Offered two options for repair and clear pricing and explained pros and cons. Diagnostic fee of $79 seems a little high and is higher than the $59 listed on this site, though I don't know that it's any higher than anyone else.

I called to schedule an appointment around 4:00 pm on a Friday afternoon and the furnace was fixed by 6:00 pm the same day. I talked to two people in the office to schedule the appointment (I had to call twice so that I could discuss the options with my mother) and both were friendly and professional. Owen, the technician who arrived at my mother's house was punctual, friendly, and very professional. He fixed what needed to be fixed and was up front with all repair costs. I will definitely recommend Diamond Heating and Cooling to my friends and family and will use them again in the future.

They were amazing! Our 22 year old A/C went out on 4th of July. They were the only company in the treasure valley that actually called us back and made an appointment a priority. We were in a panic because we were scheduled to leave town the next day and have grandma stay with our 6 year old, but the weather was over 100*. Chris (technician) was willing to come out at either 10:00pm or 7:00am the next day. He fixed he A/C for a very reasonable price (less than $500) but we knew it would need replaced soon. In November we found out our heater had a cracked heat exchange. It was time to replace that too! Robert came out and gave us our options. We decided to upgrade the full system to save on labor costs (just under $5,000 total price). He called the owner and got permission to credit us half the cost of the A/C repair we had just done in the summer. We were very impressed! They aren't pushy about selling the most expensive option. They are very friendly and trustworthy. We can tell this is a top notch local business!

I left them alone to do their work while I did mine around the house. The installer was one man down and so the owner of the company who doesn't have to work on these jobs came out and was his apprentice. The area they worked in was cleaner then when they came in the house. They were friendly and very quick. When completed they went through the entire operation and how I could set the heat in my house and what to look for with the carbon dioxide sensor. The equipment they installed was top notch. My house has not stayed this warm in over 16 years. I will use on one going into the future for any of my heating and cooling needs but diamond. Let me back up a bit. Lets start with the salesman placing the bid. His bid was spot on and he made sure when he placed the bid that all the numbers would keep my heating bill down and keep me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. When I asked about financing he had me financed in a matter of minutes. He made sure the install schedule would work for me and that I would be home at that time and set expectations of a time frame. Now one day before the install the girls in the office call and make sure I am still good to go with the install and remind me of the time they will be there. Now comes the day of the install and the installer is there 5 minutes early. I showed him where everything was and he got started right away. The owner of the company shows up cause the apprentice had called in sick, and filled the job of the apprentice. Now after the install the salesman brings over all the warranty paperwork and ensures that we are not just happy but 100% happy. Goes over all the warranties with me. explains all the perks which include a free year of club service which is the maintenance including the filters on the equipment. I personally would use no one else but diamond heating and cooling. My experience with other heating and cooling companies has been no where near as good as my experience with them.

They were extremely nice and knowledgeable. We had an inspector come out to inspect our furnace as we just bought a new home and he informed is about cracks in our heating elements (which can cause carbon monoxide poisoning) and showed is with his camera tool. Through their knowledge we decided to buy new furnace as ours was getting old and replacing parts would have been just as much than buying a new unit. Within in 3 days they had it installed, showed us how to use it and our new thermostat and we are now warm, cozy and happy. I would recommend them to anyone!!!

They did a great job tuning my A/C.

it's what they didn't do. They never contacted me to set up a time to tune up my air conditioner. I purchased the order on the 1st of July, but because of the 4th of July weekend I gave them them the benefit of the doubt when I did not hear from them before Monday, July 6th. When Tuesday the 7th arrived and still no contact from them, I decided not to waste my time with a company who obviously did not need nor want my business. Now even if they do attempt to contact me, what's to say it won't take them another week or more to actually come and look at my air conditioner.

The kid was nice enough but they wanted us to buy into a service 'club' for better prices. He found a leak in the service valve and suggested a new valve but thought we needed a new air conditioner and furnace. The pricing was very confusing and he listed various tiers of service plans we could use. Never did know exactly what it would cost as there were so many options on the sheet he gave us and none of those included the freon for the air conditioner. He tried to sell us an off brand air conditioner and furnace that he said would be around $5000 or about $8000 for a name brand. We decided to check around and we are SO GLAD we did! We called Carlon Heating and Cooling and the guy said we didn't need to replace the unit. All we needed was a new valve and refrigerant. He said the air conditioner and pump were in good shape and nothing could really go wrong with the furnice that wasn't easily repairable. It ended up costing a little over $400 from Carlon and we had it fixed!

Diamond was very professional and very punctual, which was a treat. I signed an annual agreement with Diamond even before this service. I like them.

This company seems comitted to professionalism. Robert (sales) responded immediately to my call for a quote and did a full house evaluation of our heating needs which indicated that we really should have a slightly larger capacity unit. Two other vendors simply asked if we were comfortable in our house with our existing size furnace and then bid a replacement of similar size. We felt confident that if we took Diamond's bid, we would have adequate heating in case future owners wanted to put an addition on the house. One thing that was critical to us was the ability to get the system installed prior to our leaving on vacation so we could get any bugs worked out before we left, if necessary. The installers came at a date of our choosing and completed a very challenging installation in a very tight space in one day. The day of the installation, or perhaps the day before, Diamond learned that its supplier didn't have in stock the model that we wanted; because they knew that we were on a tight time schedule, they upgraded us to the next better model at no cost to use! The installers came on the day of our choosing and completed the installation in one day in what turned out to be a challenging install because of the very tight space. They protected carpets, etc. against dirt from tools and equpment. They were both pleasant and professional, and we appreciated the fact that Robert stopped in during the day to see how things were going. Three weeks later, Robert made an appointment to visit in order to see if we were satisfied and to deliver the warranty registration materials, which had been taken care of from Diamond's office. We love our new system. We are more comfortable in our home than we have been in 40+ years. For the first time ever, I don't have to use a supplemental heater in my office. The system is extremely quiet; although the fan runs 24/7 to make the filter/air cleaning system most effective, we never hear it unless we are specifically listening for it. We have a rental home into which we will be moving in a few years. It has a relatively new, but very noisy furnace that is subject to frequent and expensive repairs. I am confident that we will be using Diamond to replace that system, also.

Diamond heating helped me get financing on a Amana Furnace AC. The entire team is top.
