Owner Steve Solberg is conscientious, knowledgeable and customer-sensitive. His business vision and "can-do" attitude permeate through his entire organization. His crew went the extra mile to re-roof my contemporary house, with has complex configuration and a use of different materials. It was like a breath of fresh air to get exposed to Steve's crew, who were professional across the board, i.e. quality workmanship, great bedside manners, punctuality and hard work. The result exceeded my expectations. The negoation process was hassle-free, the cost was competitive, and the warranty is generous (7-years on workmanship). I am a raving customer of Accurate Roofing Solutions!

Steve's crew showed up on time, were very courteous, and cleaned up well at day's end - even my neighbor was impressed! Despite a slight delay with the wrong tile being delivered, they still worked hard to try to keep on schedule. Steve was very professional and patiently answered and explained any questions I had throughout the whole process. Work was performed as promised. Removal of old roof and re-roof completed in one day. Job site left in clean condition. This is my third roofing job with Steve. He always delivers on promises. Would highly recommend him.

Steve's roofing team also installed a new skylight and made sure that all the hardware on the roof (exhaust pipes, vents and skylight trim) matched the roof shingle color. Steve Solberg (company owner) was very responsive to our requests and he provided us with a comprehensive evaluation and cost estimate. The work went very well and Accurate Roofing Solutions was able to accommodate our schedule and make the necessary adjustments to account for weather delays and City Inspections. We will be recommending them to our friends in the future.

I appreciated that Steve knew all the city requirements preventing those type of delays. My old attic fan was not working properly and his people installed a new one I had purchased at no additional charge. Although I won't know the water tightness of the new roof until the first big storm, the 10-year warranty will cover any problems.

I have never written a review on Angie's List before. This should tell you how happy I am with our new roof, with Accurate Roofing Solutions and with Steve Solberg. The whole process including our initial meeting with Steve, getting the quote, and the roof installation couldn't have gone smoother. It took about 3 days and each day the guys did a great job of cleaning up. Steve was always on hand or available for any questions. I only wish Accurate did more than just roofs. I can't recommend Steve and Accurate enough - great work!

I ASKED A QOUTE FROM THE 2 BIG STORES AND 3 CONTRACTORS FROM ANGIES LIST, I CHOOSE ACCURATE ROOFING SOLUTIONS NOT THE LOWEST BUT THE MODEST PRICE, STEVE, THE OWNER NOT ONLY COMES ON TIME BUT ALSO MEET ME IN PLACE THAT IS CONVENIENT FOR ME, THE WORK WAS ABOVE AVERAGE AND THE FINAL PRICE WAS ACCEPTABLE, THE CITY INSPECTOR ACTUALLY SAID THAT THE JOB WAS PERFECT, VERY NEATLY DONE AND STRAIGHT, I WOULD RECOMMEND STEVE TO ANYBODY OUT THERE WHO WANT HASSLE FREE WITH PEACE OF MIND ROOF REPLACEMENT. STEVE EVEN GIVE ME A DISCOUNT AFTER THE JOB IS DONE.

This review outlines our experience with Steve at Accurate Roofing Solutions. In the process of our searching for the right roofer for our house, we were impressed by Steve's responsiveness, follow-through and professionalism. For this reason, we signed a roofing contract with him. The project was never completed, however, through no fault of his own. Due to complicated reasons not worth going into, we unfortunately needed to pull out of our contract after the standard 3-day cancellation grace period. We were concerned that by cancelling our contract we would inevitably lose our $1000 deposit. Far less scrupulous companies out there would have gladly kept our deposit and technically speaking, they would have a legal right to do so. Fortunately, we had hired a roofing contractor who prides himself on doing the right thing and he agreed to return our deposit. In an industry that is ripe with shady characters, it's nice to know that there are contractors out there like Steve.

He was the best bid, completed the work on time, and it looks great. In a world of horrible, nonrespnsove contractors, Accurate Roofing Solutions and Steve stand out as exemplary!

I would hire this company again in a minute and am already referring to everyone I can think of. The entire process from first call to job finished took about 2 and a half weeks, and went incredibly smoothly. Steve is the owner and when he says he is going to do something, he does it. I called and asked for a bid. He went the next day to take a look and by that evening I had a bid. I had two other companies also bid the project, I'm still waiting on one of them. When I told Steve he had the job, he booked us in for a Monday. He showed up that Monday bright and early, with a pro team that was respectful of the property and the neighbors. Steve said the job would take a day and a half, and it did. We came in right on budget exactly. He handled the permit from the city of Hermosa Beach, both pre and post project inspections. He also bought and installed the wood needed to finish up the roof project and the vented dormers that the house never had, which he also installed, to keep the attic area cooler. When time came to pay, I needed to pay half in cash and half on a credit card and Steve worked with me on that, too. If I could give higher than an A rating, I would: A +++

Steve and his team did a good, thorough job re-doing our roof. We knew there might be some damage with our pre-existing roof and Steve and his crew detected the problems and replaced the wood. I liked how Steve was responsive to my questions and explained the process to me so that I knew what to expect. I would hire Accurate Roofing again if I needed additional roof work done.

Accurate Roofing Solutions was the best choice and a very professional company for our LARGE request to reroof 15 extremely steep townhomes. We worked with 20 roofing companies and received only 7 bids, others would not take the job due to the steep roofs, etc. They completed 15 townhomes in only 19 working days. Now that is a well-oiled machine. From the very beginning working with Steve was a pleasure. He was up front, honest, and very accurate about everything. His pricing was not only competitive, but beat out others. His warranty was better than some, his wood replacement prices were better and we worked together on everything throughout the entire project. I can’t say enough about the wonderful team he has working for him. They worked extremely hard throughout every day during temperatures of 93° (which must have been at least 103° on the roof). In our case, the workers had to work with individual homeowners from each townhome and they reached out to make each and every one of them feel special and to meet their needs with great success. They meticulously cleaned up and took with them in their truck all of the roofing trash from the site each day. My thanks to the hardest working team and the most considerate group of workers I’ve ever met. One the last day, they not only remembered, but handled all of the very minor details they said they would for us. They did a beautiful job and we highly recommend them.

Accurate Roofing Solutions re-roofed our entire house and garage in an efficient and competent manner. The owner, Steve, came and did a thorough inspection of the old roof before giving us his bid. He pointed out that the gambrel roof on the garage would be difficult because of the steep slopes. He also noted that more ventilation was needed and proposed to add that. We decided to use this company because of Steve's obvious knowledge of roofing in addition to the good reviews given by others. We were happy we did. The workers were skilled and diligent. They were able to remove the old shingles from this large roof in one day, and then fixed the wood that needed replacing and applied the new roofing in only two days more. They added the new vents that were needed to prevent wood deterioration in the future; they added a "cricket" to the chimney intersection with the roof; the painted all the vent pipes and flashings to match the roof color. Finally, they cleaned up thoroughly. Steve came by each day to oversee the progress. The quality of work and professionalism of all concerned was excellent. (An example of the attention to detail: I mentioned to Steve that the hammering to replace wood near the peak of the roof had made a small crack in the ceiling under it. He said they would take care of it for me. A week after the roofing job was over, and after it was all paid for, the foreman of the crew and one of his men came to our house and patched and painted the crack in the ceiling.)

From first contact to last inspection, Accurate Roofing Solutions in Redondo Beach, CA, was professional, punctual, and well worth the price (which was middle-of-the-road for all the research and estimates we had done). Our roof has a "cricket" which needed re-sloping. We had some termite damage and wood rot that needed repairs. Accurate Roofing handled the reconstruction and repairs. We are having solar panels put in, and Accurate Roofing Solutions worked with our solar panel provider to make sure the roof will be leak proof. They also put in new dormer vents. We're very happy with Accurate Roofing Solutions. I noticed recently that they are doing a new, large apartment project near our grandson's school. Very busy company!

The roof on my rental duplex had 2 layers of shingles (one shake, one composition) but the top layer was over 25 years old and had started to leak. Time to replace. I got 4 bids for the work. Steve's bid wasn't the lowest but was very competitive. I basically picked Steve for the work because he said he only did new roofs (no repair jobs), he met me personally to do the bid (I like dealing with the company owner), and I just felt he had been doing this for many years and would do a good job. His previous recommendations on Angie's list were also a good factor. Steve arrived on time and was very upfront and professional about what he would do, how long it would take, etc. I told him I didn't want to disturb my tenants any more than absolutely necessary. Steve said that wouldn't be a problem. The work started on time (with a couple days delay due to weather). His crew was very efficient, professional and neat. The house never had debris scattered around during the process. The work was finished in about 3 1/2 days. They had to strip off the 2 old layers of shingles, fix some bad framing, lay down plywood (new code) and lay shingles. There was a slight extra charge for the additional lumber, but Steve had warned me up front this might be necessary depending on what they found after removing the old roof. I was very satisfied with Steve's work. There were no surprises or glitches and the quality of the work was first rate. I'd recommend Steve's company to anyone needing a new roof installed.

ACCURATE ROOFING SOLUTIONS JUST COMPLETED A FULL RE-ROOF OF MY HOUSE AND DETACHED GARAGE. WORK WAS STARTED ON TIME AND IT WAS COMPLETED IN A TIMELY FASHION. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH RESULTS. Great job by Steve and crew. Single story house, 1100 sq ft. Clear communication of details and contract. Job was done earlier than scheduled. Steve was present for pre-meeting, intermediate meeting once old roof was off, and end. Only collected full payment after days for us to really review the overall job. Nice painting and color matching for flashings/metal chimney. Notably, Steve answered the phone every time called, no days of phone tag/voice mails. Highly recommended.

I called Accurate Roofing Solutions and set up a free estimate appointment and talked to Steve. He arrived at the specified time aand see med to be very friendly and knowledgable about all the things I wanted done. I told him I needed a new roof and that I wanted to insulate the rear portion of the house . Since we have an open beam ceiling , we wanted to insulate the top of the roof and Steve informed me what that would entail. I had many questions but Steve new all the answers and assured me they had the knowledge and experience to do the job. His estimate was reasonable actually $1000 less than one of my other estimates. He gave an approximate date for the job and said would take about 2 to 3 days which was fine. The crew showed up on time and began working, I noticed they placed plastic on my driveway to prevent any oil spotting from their truck and they made every effort to keep the area around the house clean as possible. The job took 21/2 days and Steve kept me informed about their progress and explained every step of the job. I couldn't be more satisfied with the finished job. I would definitely hire Steve and his crew again. Just a word to the wise don't confuse Accurate Roofing Solutions with another company called Accurate Roofing they are two different companies. Give Steve a call I think you'll be more than satisfied. I would also like to thank Jesus the crew supervisor for customizing any situations they ran across during the job.

My wife and I checked several companies via internet including Angies' list. We obtained several estimates along with explanation how to deal with water leak. We like Steve, his personality and his accurate explanation. Although we had to wait over three months to do the work, he exceeded our expectations. He and his crew worked hard with professionalism. We really liked them. As for the payment, Angies's list said the company accepts credit cards but that was not true. He has stopped using credit cards and does not accept them anymore. However he did his best to make us happy. We appreciate it very much. As for the water leak, of course, we have to wait for several months to see, but we feel confident there will be no more leaking.
