Accurate Roofing Solutions

When I called Steve to make an appointment to examine our roof, he asked a lot of questions about the other roofers I had already talked to, as if he were trying to position himself competitively, which was a little bit of a red flag for me but no biggie. I was prepared for more of the same when he arrived the next morning but there was nothing like that. He was very professional and helpful, and took the time to discuss the project and answer my questions. He took me to a house down the street he had done a year earlier to show me an example of the material we were considering and also provided me with a list of addresses to roofs he had done in the area. He later provided us with a fair quote but we ultimately decided to go with another roofer.

Day 1: Heavy equipment and roofers arrived on time to move roofing supplies to roof and lay plastic tarps to cover area around the house. Old portion of roof removed and debris taken away. I had cleared and swept the area before they arrived but it was cleaner when they left, both days. Day 2: Roofers arrived on time, rebuilt and installed the roof with composition shingles. Little to describe because everything was done so efficiently. It looks great. I'm really pleased. Steve was great to work with, explained everything to me. And the roofers were wonderful -- efficient, hardworking, friendly, and neat. A very professional operation, I would definitely use them again.

I called three highly recommended roofing companies. All company owners came and sent estimates in a timely manner. However, Steve was the only one who put a ladder on the first story roof to access the second story roof (the one to be replaced). The two other contractors looked at the top roof from the hill side without walking on it. I noticed Steve was detailed oriented and had a plan about protecting my property from dust and particles. When estimates came, they were close enough to not be a factor in decision making. I wanted a Gaco silicon roof, which can be applied directly over the old roof, but also wanted the old roof removed and the tongue and groove inspected, as well as insulation added. These decisions increased the final cost quite significantly, but I found that Steve was helpful in educating me about the various options and costs. In the end, Steve decided to add a torched down roof before applying the Gaco silicon layers, at no additional cost. The work was completed in time, without any surprise. I will definitely re-hire Accurate, and we're already discussing applying Gaco on another portion of the roof for insulation purpose. I highly recommend Steve and Accurate Roofing Solutions.

Roofer performed work mentioned above. They finished in the amount of time they had initially quoted me, and the roof looks great. As far as cleanup, my yard looked much better after the crew left than it did before they arrived, which is relevant because I had been doing work in the yard that left it very messy before they arrived. Crew was friendly and accommodating when needed. Ending price was more than what was quoted due to bad wood that needed to be replaced (which I was warned about beforehand), but I suppose that aspect would have been the same no matter who took the job. Received lower quotes from other companies (thus the 'B' grade), but good communication from the outset led me to choose this vendor. All said, I have no regrets and appreciate the work done.

The new roof was installed perfectly by Accurate Roofing Solutions (not to be confused with Accurate Roofing). The job was completed on time and very efficiently. About 700 ft of termite damaged wood was also replaced, increasing the original estimate of $6,150 to $7,991. (House was built 58 years ago). Clean up was terrific - even the debris and drop cloths were completely removed from inside our garage at the end of the task. I am very satisfied with the end result and have no problem recommending this vendor to anyone else with a similar requirement.

I called Accurate Roofing Solutions because the reviews on Angie's List were really great. Steve called back the same day and I was immediately impressed with him on the phone. We made an appointment for him to see the roof. He showed up on time (always a good sign), inspected the roof and gave me a quote within 24 hours. I had thought that I might need to put a new roof on but he said that the existing roof could be repaired. I did call another company for a quote. That company came out and looked at the roof but declined to give me a quote. On the appointed day, Steve and his crew showed up on time, were very professional, clean and finished the job in a timely manner. Steve was easy to work with, he always patiently answered all of my questions and was always quick to return phone calls. I have had many experiences with all types of contractors and I can truly say that this was the most pleasant.experience I have ever had. And by the way, the roof has not leaked since the work was completed.

We called for an estimate, and Steve came out and looked at the house. His was the third estimate we obtained, and decided to use Steve and Accurate Roofing Solutions because we felt he was honest, credible, and he thoroughly explained the job and why there might be additional charges once the roof was removed and any underlying damage could be seen. The work crew of 5 men was terrific. They arrived on time each morning, didn't waste time, and worked long, full days to complete the job on time. The work crew also took pictures of all underlying damaged plywood for us to see, and explained that this had to be removed and replaced before the new roof could be applied. They protected the front driveway with a tarp, and were diligent about clean up. We would highly recommend Accurate Roofing Solutions.

He promptly mailed me a quote, then followed up and ask for my business. I really appreciated his professionalism and felt good about giving the job to someone who I trusted and respected. Steve's crew replaced the wood shingle roof with a brand new tile roof very quickly and professionally. They were here early for work, worked hard and quickly and did a great job. When they were done they cleaned up everything, even uncovering all the stuff in my garage that I had covered and dusted and swept, leaving things better than they were when they arrived. I was pretty picky about some things and Steve worked with me, directing his crew to do the things the way I expected them to be done. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone planning on re-roofing their home. Awesome job!

We went with Mr. Solberg after he had diagnosed and repaired a roof leak around our chimney a year ago. Water leaked from the chimney, through the walls, and out through a 2nd floor window frame during a big storm. Now a year later, everything is great, no leak. But now our other 2nd floor window on the other side of the house was now leaking through the window similarly as it did last year. So we called him to perform the same services as last year. Mr. Solberg was professional and arrived on time. Gave us a fair estimate. We did not get any more estimates since we trusted him and he was already familiar with the problem. The repair went smoothly and quickly. He did find some other broken tiles and replaced them as well. What's great is that he gives me a 3 year labor warranty. It doesn't rain here much, but it gives me comfort that if it does and it still leaks, he will come back to fix it. Very awesome. Fair pricing. When it is time to replace the roof, we'll be sure to use him again.

The owner was very responsive in all aspects of the job. The crew did the work in one morning and cleaned up our yard back to its original condition before they started. They even went beyond by painting all our stacks to match the new electrical post. It has been a few months since the work was performed and the roof has held out perfectly through all the storms. I highly recommend Accurate Roofing.

Steve was quick to respond and thorough in his explanation. His price was fair and the work was done promptly. I hope not to need their services again, but would not hesitate to call if additional roofing needs came up.

Roofer came out, found the problem and immediately called out a crew to repair the problem. It rained that same night so we were delighted that the roof problem was taken care of immediately.

Dealt with the owner, Steve. He was a real pleasure. Showed up on time returned all of my phone calls. My leaky roof doesn't leak a drop now. That does not mean it didn't go without a hitch. - While working on the roof an old phone wire was damaged causing phone service to go out in one room. Steve, came back immediately that day to take a look and saw some frayed wires that were shorting and that finally gave up the ghost during the roofing operation. Steve, without asking, told me to have the phone company fix it and he would cover their charges. The phone company did fix it and said it was a very old wire. I volunteered to split the charge with him and he showed up with a check that day. - The roof leaked after the work and he came back with his team and said that the leak originated not from their work but at another place. They fixed it immediately and it hasn't leaked a drop even though we have gone through some heavy rains since. Although everything did not go perfectly, Steve stands behind his work and would definitely use him again!

After buying a home that was in dire need of a new roof, we contacted multiple roofing companies to come out for an assessment and an estimate. Steve was the most thorough of the four companies that came out. His explanations of why certain aspects of the roof have failed and his honesty in terms of how much wood was more than likely needed for replacement made me feel much more comfortable in choosing his company. I knew we were in profession, experienced hands and we'd have the piece of mind for years to come. His crew was quick, thoughtful, and knew their stuff. Since we have a large home (thus, large roof), Steve worked with us on pricing for the amount of wood that needed to be replaced (there was a huge amount needed due to lack of care by previous owners). They went above and beyond as well by trimming trees and removing an enormous satellite dish bolted to the roof. Definitely impressed that they went as far as painting all the vents and metal areas to match the color we chose. Would highly recommend!

Steve was professional, pleasant, helpful, honest and thoughtful during the entire process. We just bought this house. We had the roof inspected, and at that time the inspector pointed out that part of the roof was flat and had the old style tar paper protection, and would need to be replaced in the near future. We looked on Angie's list and called Steve. He came out and took a look and confirmed that the flat part of the roof would need to be replaced - maybe in a year or two. He also took a look at the rest of the roof and said it was fine for at least another 10 years. Having experience with flat roofs, I decided to get an estimate from him, which he delivered promptly. We agreed on price, and set a dat for the work. He and his crew showed up on time, cleaned up each day, answered my questions while they did the work. Steve and his crew were outstanding. They showed up for the estimate on time and when my Father hired them they arrived on time and kept the job going smoothly and kept the place clean. They scheduled the inspector to come out for the inspections ahead of time. They made sure that the materials needed to do the job were scheduled and delivered on time. When we had any questions we contacted Steve by phone and he contacted his lead man on the job to make sure that the questions and concerns we had about the job was addressed. At the end of each day they made sure the area was cleaned up. When they completed the job they made sure that all the debris was removed from the roof areas that any trash that might have been on the around the house was picked up and disposed of in the trash or they took it to the dump.

Steve Solberg, the owner of Accurate Roofing Solutions, responded right away. He himself answered the phone (my first call) and we set up a day for him to come and give an estimate. He showed up on time, we checked out the roof, and he gave me some excellent suggestions on how specific problems could be addressed. Steve gave me a ballpark figure as to the cost for a compete roof. I had quickly given up the idea of just spot repairs, realizing that this was not the answer. I liked Steve and was inclined to give him the job, but I got one other estimate from another roofer. He came, did a thorough inspection, and quoted me almost the same dollar amount as Steve had, but the new man's ideas and suggestions involved more work on my part (for example, disconnecting and moving the two AC/Heating units), and one of his methods would have necessitated that I would have had to do extra painting when the job was done. In fairness, the second roofer did have some good ideas for future work and i was glad to have gotten his opinion. But for the immediate need, the flat roof, I chose Accurate Roofing Solutions and we set up three days to get the job done. Steve and his crew of three arrived on the scheduled day and time and started work. The foreman was highly qualified, and I understood that he and the crew are full-time employees. When Steve was not on site, he and I kept in touch by phone, and he came to inspect the work and progress daily, and to check in with me. He and the crew were extremely hard working and conscientious. The job was finished on schedule and the site was cleaned up. I have to say that in my 34 years of having work done on this house, the experience of working with Accurate Roofing Solutions was absolutely one of the best, and I recommend them highly.

Steve was the perfect roofer for us! His quote was more than $700 less than a quote from a different company. We first spoke at length on the phone and Steve went over all the work that would be done and the materials that would be used. He even came to the property and did a "walk-through" showing us everything he mentioned in his quote so that we really understood what was being done. And because of his professionalism and patience in answering any and all of our questions, we decided to go with his company. As first-time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and we wanted someone who would answer them promptly. Steve responded quickly to our phone calls or emails and kept us informed throughout the roofing process. Even after his team removed the roofs and found an unexpectedly large amount of damaged wood underneath (caused by the improper laying of the shingle roof over a gravel roof that should've been removed and which his team saved so we could see the damage for ourselves), Steve was sympathetic to our extra costs and offered suggestions so that we wouldn't be "hit" with it all at once. Besides that, he was very accommodating to our scheduling needs and our coordination with other contractors. He also made every effort to look out for any of our roofing needs including connecting vents that previously existed in the attic and putting new vents for a waterheater. We are very pleased with Steve and his team. They started and finished on time, kept us informed of their work, cooperated with our needs and now we have a great looking roof and look forward to moving in!

Steve Solberg the owner was my only contact person for the whole job. He was superb and I would recommend him to anyone and would not look further for any roofing needs for myself in the future. Steve arrived for an estimate punctually. I had four different companies give estimates and Steve seemed head and shoulders above the other three to me. He just seemed very upfront, knowledgable, likable and reasonable. His bid was very slightly above the lowest but I went with Steve because I had a gut feeling he would do a good job and I am very glad I did. Everything went according to plan and schedule. He handled everything that came up, including one little surprise when the old roof was removed. I have the city inspector from h*** in my neighborhood and Steve handled that perfectly too. I went up on the roof with a friend of mine who has done some roofing and he pointed out a few things where he very impressed by the level of detail in the workmanship. The workers protected everything in the attic with tarps, and cleaned up everything. All I had to do was write the checks and admire my perfect new roof! Steve, again, great job and thank you!!

When I called Accurate Roofing Solutions to inquire about having my house re-roofed Steve called me back within in the day. He arrived on the day & time we arranged. He took the time to inspect my roof & then conveyed to me exactly what he suggested should be done. He answered all my questions concerning the type of roofing & what if anything might arise in removing the roof. He gave me a quote that was within the price of the other 3 roofing companies I called. I then decided to just have the portion of the roof that has been leaking repaired. He came back with a quote & again answered all my questions for doing it this way versus doing the complete roof. He knew that it would be less in cost but still took the time to give me the quote & set a day & time to do the repairs + sealing around my skylights. He & his men were here on time & completed the work in time frame quoted to me. They cleaned up & left the place the same as they found it. Accurate Roofing Solutions is the company that I chose to do the roofing project on my home. Steve Solberg (the owner) came to my house for the initial estimate and explained to me everything from start to finish. He answered all of my questions in great detail. He followed up with the estimate when he said he would and walked me through each step of the project. He also let me know that there would be an extra charge for any damaged wood that I may have under my roof. The crew showed up on time the day the project was scheduled to start. They protected my driveway and cleaned up on a daily basis. After 3 days of the crew working long hours and Steve coming over everyday to see how things were progressing I can now say that I have a wonderful looking roof!!!!!!! I contacted Steve Solberg from Accurate Roofing Solutions as well as two other roofing contractors to request an estimate to replace my roof which was in bad shape. After collecting all three written estimates and reviewing them I decided to choose Accurate Roofing Solutions for several reasons. First of all Steve Solberg was very punctual for both visits to my home. He was able to explain in detail and in terms that I could understand clearly how the whole project would go from start to finish. He educated me on the need for certain types of materials and their functionality which I appreciated. He was very courteous and professional when I called him several times to answer some questions about the project. He explained to me the extra charge that would be added for the cost of the city permit and for damaged wood that I had under my roof. During the project Steve piled up the damaged wood so I could see it for my own eyes which I really liked because I never asked him to do this. He is definitely a contractor with high "INTEGRITY" and how many of us have come across the likes of different contractors!!!! The project was completed on schedule and when the crew cleaned up my yard I was surprised that it is in better looking condition than when they started.
