I made several calls to different companies in the South Bay and received estimates of over $12,000 for a very small job (1500 square feet). Steve came in thousands of dollars below the next lowest bid. Steve was on time for our initial meeting and had a proposal emailed to me that evening. He also was able to show me a house a few blocks away he recently completed. I was able to speak to the home owner and they were quite satisfied. Steve was able to get the job done on time even though his crew started a day later than expected due to one of his crew having a baby added to his family the night before the job was to begin. I was very happy with the finished job. The roof looks great and it made it through the first big storm of El Nino with no issues. The roof is guaranteed for life and I know Steve would respond immediately if there was an issue, but I'm sure there wont be. My experience with Steve Solberg was great and I would recommend him to anyone.

We were very happy with everything. The job was done very quickly and well done. Because they had a large crew working it only took about a day and a half. The work was done very professional and the new roof looks great. They added extra little touches and paid good attention to detail. The owner Steve Solberg kept in touch daily. The crew arrived on time and worked all day. They completed the job in two days. There was a one week delay from the scheduled start date but they made up for it by finishing in two days. I'm extremely happy with the work performed. The quote was $2,000 less than the competitors and even though the other contender was on Angie's List they did not offer an Angie's List discount. Stevens company gave a discount of $375.00. What sold me was Steve. He showed me his drivers license, business license, insurance card, everything related to the job. I compared the two quotes and they were identical except for the cost.

With all the talk of El Nino, I knew I needed to replace my Mother's roof. I called Steve at Accurate Roofing Solutions. He showed up on time for the appointment, provided suggestions, and let me know with the demand for new roofs, the next available time to replace the roof would be in a month. I called early because I expected the wait due to El Nino. The day came to do the work. Steve and his crew arrived on time and wasted no time to get the job done. They finished in two days! Each day they cleaned and Steve kept me informed of the progress. My Mother was extremely pleased with the crew and how polite they were. The result: WOW!!! The roof looks fantastic! Steve even did extras to make the roof look even better. Two of my Mother's neighbors called her with compliments on the roof and Steve's crew. I highly recommend Accurate Roofing Solutions. 2 years ago, I had found this company through Angie's List. They replaced the weathered mansard roof across the front of my 2 story home. Great job! 4 gold stars! This year, I had them redo the entire flat asphalt roof. No known leaks or problems, but the existing roof was 22 years old and El Nino was threatening. Just before the work was scheduled to start, the annual termite inspection report came in listing termite damage to the back fascia and suggesting replacement. I mentioned this to Steve. As it turned out, there was more termite damage to the roof. Steve took care of the whole thing and the job was completed on schedule. The crew was terrific. The skilled craftsmen were working together like a well-oiled machine. I can't say enough good things about them! I really like these guys! Would I recommend this company? ABSOLUTELY! I highly recommend Steve Solberg and Accurate Roofing Solutions. Steve was a pleasure to work with--prompt, professional, patient. He explained the entire process in advance, and kept me informed step by step through each phase of work. I had many questions and was very particular about the way I wanted the project to look in the end, and Steve worked with me all the way through the project and ensured that I was pleased with the result. He was always available to answer questions, answered questions thoroughly, and made sure that I was comfortable at each phase. He reviewed all my roofing choices with me in detail, including color choices. I wanted the tiles to appear randomly set, and the eave risers, ridge caps and end caps to have a particular look, and Steve worked with me to achieve the look I wanted--he even drove with me around the neighborhood to look at different roofs. His men arrived on time and left the job site clean. At the same time that my roof was replaced, I also had other work done by other contractors, including installation of gutters and downspouts. Steve worked well with the other contractors on the job site and made recommendations that served me well. It has been three years since my roof was installed, and I have had no problems with it. It is beautiful and was beautifully installed. There are other roofers in the area that go by the business name Accurate Roofing, but they are not the same business, so be careful to choose the business run by Steve Solberg.

My landlord had Steve do an estimate, after I recommended him based on comments here. She did get a second estimate, and decided to have Steve do the job. He said it would take two and a half days, and that's exactly what it did. His crew was prompt, fast, thorough and incredibly neat. They cleaned up each day, so there was no debris when we came home from work. Thank you, Steve, and thank you once again, Angie's List!

Steve, the owner of Accurate Roofing Solutions, came to give me a bid for a new roof. He was my second bid (when I checked the first company online their worker's comp had expired). Steve was straightforward and professional. Showed me his license, bond info, and worker's comp info. I really appreciiated the time he took explaining what needed to be done and answering all my questions. He gave me a detailed bid later that afternoon. It turned out to be $100 less than the other company's bid. Does not sound like a huge savings, but Steve also offered a better warranty, better quality shingles, and 30 lb. underlay. The job took 5 days. They started on Monday morning and finished on Friday around 11:30. Steve's crew is absolutely amazing. They show up on time and work so hard. Even my neighbors were in awe. My neighbors also commented on how nice Jesus and his crew were and what a great job they did cleaning up each day. Was so nice to hear that the crew is kind to the neighbors too. As for the finished product, the new black roof looks beautiful. Love that the flashings are painted to match the roof color. I can't believe how many people stop to say beautiful roof. Who knew a roof could look so good, but it does. There were a couple of minor cosmetic things in back. Steve is sending someone over to fix them in the next few days. Easy as can be. What else can I say? Steve was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process run smoothly. Thank you Steve and crew! Steve also gave me great advice regarding my dogs. He said that the first day was the loudest, and we might not want to be home. Took dogs to doggie day care and checked to see if I could take them back the rest of the week if the noise got to them. They slept most of the time T-F if you can believe...

All went smoothly, a little hiccup with inspection on chimney but Steve quickly took care of it and inspector signed off on it. Steve, the owner, was great to work with and would highly recommend using him and his crew. They were quick and cleaned up after the job.

My initial inquiry was through Angie's List. Steve Solberg from Accurate Roofing responded promptly to my request for an estimate and arranged a time to come to the house to see the work that needed to be done. A detailed estimate was provided spelling out in detail all of the work that was to be performed as well as the time to perform the work. The job was performed in the time stated. They workers were there when they said they would be and cleaned up afterwards. All in all I am very satisfied with the work done and would definitely consider this company again for any future roofing needs that I may have.

Job was done timely and completed as promised. Relatively small job was entirely completed in one day as promised. I have used Steve previously to re-roof another house which was more complicated. His crew did the same outstanding job in both instances. Work sites left clean and neat. Quality work for a fair price. I highly recommend him and will not hesitate to use him again.

It went very well. Even the city inspector said that they did a great job. Good cleanup, very professional and respectful of our property. We were very happy with Steve and the whole crew. Good contract that spelled out everything so there were no surprises.

Steve and his team did a fantastic job preserving/replacing my Spanish tile roof. Steve's pricing was very competitive and transparent. He was very upfront with any additional cost that can up due to unexpected issues. There were some quirks to my roof job (reuse of old tile, multiple styles of tile, unexpected water damage underneath) but Steve had all the answers. This job was part of a bigger remodel project so I had multiple crews on site at the time (painters, tilers, windows, etc)... Steve's crew was one of the hardest working and most thoughtful of all I had on site. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to others. It was a job well done. Thanks!

Late at night during a recent rain we realized that we had a leak in our flat roof, right over the master bedroom. The next morning I contacted four of the top-rated vendors from Angies' List in our area. Two of them came out the next day, inspected the roof and gave quotes. They each had different approaches to solving the problem, and both seemed good. We chose Accurate Roofing Solutions as they really understood our needs, and could put us on their schedule right away. (There was more rain predicted for the coming weekend!) The owner Steve and his crew arrived on-time the scheduled morning to get things started. They did everything as indicated, and a few more, including clearing a clogged downspout and making sure it drained again correctly. They cleaned up after the job and everything looks great. Steve even pointed out they currently had an Angie's List coupon for repair work, and took that additional amount off our final bill. We are ready for the rain and will definitely call them again for any roofing-related needs.

We had put off installing a new roof because we thought it would cost a fortune, take a long time and be disruptive. It was very detailed and improved upon the old roof. The price for the installation was within our budget and very fair. We were told the entire job would take 3 days and they completed the job in 3 days. The workers were always prompt, respectful and professional. Accurate Roofing took care of all the permits and inspections with the city. Overall they did everything they said they would do which doesn't happen very often. I would highly recommend them for any roofing job.

Steve Solberg, the owner, impressed us from the start by the depth of his knowledge and ability to diagnose the problems with our leaky roof. This was in contrast to other contractors we had interviewed. When we agreed to the work, Steve kept us informed about his schedule and what to expect when he started. His employees were polite, efficient and clearly took pride in their work. They found a minor issue with roof drainage, implemented a solution without much fuss charging a very reasonable add-on for the extra work. The staff did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend Accurate Roofing Solutions to anyone looking for high-quality work from a professional outfit.

Steve was terrific from the first call, through the estimate appointment, communicating the contract (including answering additional questions promptly), scheduling the job, and completing the job. The crew were polite and focused on getting the job done. They cleaned up at the end. We did have two concerns after completion. Steve promptly came to the house and looked and answered our concerns. The biggest issue is that the new torch down roofing material is a different color than the rest of our roof. Our roof is a charcoal/black and the new material is brown. Steve informed us that the material to match our current roof was discontinued. I wish we had been told this upfront instead of finding out after the job was done. And there was one place that seemed to not be as attached as adjacent material. Steve worked with it some to get it more in place. He assured us that it was okay and the sun would continue to heat the material and create further adhesion. Steve reminded us of the 3 year warranty and said to call if there are any problems.. We will be keeping a watchful eye for any leaks or other issues as we head into the rainy season.

Everything went great! Steve is a very honest roofing contractor and he didn't try to upsell me on anything that was not needed. In fact, he noticed another area of my roof (work done by a different roofer) that had exposed nail heads and offered to cover and seal them even though it was not part of this job. He was upfront about what the job entailed...including the time required and possible damage under the shingles of my roof that felt "soft" when walking on the area. His crew was very professional, clean and courteous. The guys worked quick and even cleaned out my rain gutters because they were clogged from the tree debris around my house. I highly recommend Steve and his crew!

Steve was very responsive to my call for an estimate. He was upfront about costs, time frames for the job itself, and we felt very comfortable working with him. They actually started the job ahead of schedule and finished in less time than thought. The crew was great. They even helped cover our "junk" in the garage with plastic cover. But their attention to detail showed in the finished product - the roof itself. Steve "walked" the roof with me at the end to make sure that we understood the amount of work involved in the process and to assure us that he's available if we have any further issues with the job.

The job was completed in 4 working days as promised. The crew was courteous and very professional. The site was cleaned up at the end of each day. We had four layers of old roofing to be removed, so it was quite a job. New roof was installed in the time promised. New roof looks beautiful. The crew even replaced some siding that was not part of the actual roof. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and neighbors. Price was very competitive among the three estimates I received.

Steve was extremely honest with me. He said that I could do the repairs my self and save a lot of money. He then told me what materials to buy and then how to do the repairs. And he didn't charge me anything for his time or professional opinion. I was so impressed that I asked him for a quote on replacing my roof in the next year or so. I will certainly be calling Steve first when that time comes.

Owner Steve Solberg was very professional, punctual and polite as were all the members of his crew. Steve is very organized and takes the time to explain in detail the next step. He returns phone calls and emails promptly which shows the type of professionalism every reviewer before me has mentioned. The job was finished in five days as originally estimated even if the crew had to work for 10 hours straight on the last day. We did not get any other bids so we can't tell whether the price was fair or not, but many times you have to trust your instincts and we felt that we were making the right choice by selecting Steve. We would definitely recommend Accurate Roofing Solutions for all the roofing needs.

Accurate Roofing Solutions is fabulous, they were at my property for 4 days and each day they cleaned up everything and when they left you could not tell that they had even been there - nothing was left behind they even racked the lawn and thoroughly cleaned everything before leaving - if you need a roof use Accurate Roofing Solutions!
