I called Nathan the day before after my garage door stopped opening. He scheduled an appointment to come out the next day (Today). He showed up on time and got started. Very clean cut, uniformed and very polite. He addressed the issue and quoted me a price. I accepted and he took a little less than two hours to fix garage door. He parked in our driveway, which I'm always weary about (Leaking oil), but drove a fairly new vehicle. Everything went very smoothly and I will use him again in the future. His price was much better than the quote I got from another random company I found online.

Our heavy double-wide garage door threw a cable and dropped hard. Nathan was on site within a few hours to diagnose the problem and offer solutions. Next day Rudy arrived on time and repaired the door. Professional all the way. Great service.

My automatic garage door was off it's track and a bit bent at the top from tension. This guy put a reinforcement on the top to strengthen it, got it back on the track, lubed it up, and adjusted it so it closed more firmly. They were great!

They offered to put in a new one for $450, but did say they could fix my existing one for alot less; I appreciated the honesty. My car had been broken into and my opener had been stolen, the repair person said that he would clear out my transmitter and bring me 2 new openers. A week went by and I heard nothing, so I called. The gentleman said he was sorry, he must have forgot and they would get back to me. Still no call. I called again, they guy said he would call be back in an hour. No call. I called again and he said he would call me back to set up a time for the following Monday. No call back. I called on that Monday and he said he was coming out at 3-3:30 and said he wasn't aware he was to call me. He did show up on Monday, it was just disappointing that I had to make so many phone calls to complete the job.

One of our garage doors has the wiring in place for a garage door opener so we finally decided to get one installed. I checked Angie's list and decided to call Complete Garage Door Services in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Nathan Hester, the owner, came out and gave us an estimate for a new opener and installation. He came back the next day with a helper and installed the unit. When drilling during the installation, we lost power in most of our house. They were able to finish the job with a portable generator we own. After checking our fuse boxes, we immediately called an electrician who arrived after Nathan was gone. The electrician said the drilling caused a short in our electrical system. He was able to correct the problem and our electricity was restored. The next day, my husband called Nathan to let him know what happened so that it might not happen again with another of his jobs. Nathan told us, without any hesitation, he would repay us for the cost of the electrician. We were surprised and pleased. We sent him a copy of the electrician's invoice and he sent us a check. Sometimes unexpected events happen during projects and it was refreshing that Nathan responded as he did. He was very professional and did a good job. We would recommend him to others.

After we finally made contact (there was some confusion on who was to contact whom) things went well. They did the maintenance that was ordered and then the door needed some new parts, I think that they were fair in their assessment of what needed to be done so they came back the next day and finished that. Being that the garage door is old and has had only necessary parts replaced when needed I told them to do what needed to be done. They came back the next day and finished the work.

I purchased a "deal" that was offered on Angie's List for a general tune-up and check of the garage door. When I called to schedule the service date (which by the way, they scheduled for the following day!) I told them about the garage door malfunction and having been told that the "beams" were not installed properly. I asked that they check them out and tell me about the additional costs that would be necessary to fix. Nathan, the owner, was very courteous and said they would check things out when they arrived. They arrived very promptly the next day and did the work that I had purchased with the coupon. Nathan told me that the beams just needed to be reset and that was part of their service (when was the last time you offered extra money for something you "knew" was broken and had the contractor tell you it wasn't necessary because it was part of the package you purchased! I was VERY impressed!). They came in to tell me that because my garage door was an older door, they did not have the correct seal for the bottom of the door with them. They were actually going to go purchase one and return that day to install it. This firm is located a little over 30 miles from my home; I told them that was fine if it fit in their schedule and if not, they should feel free to "work it into" their schedule on another day. They did elect to do that and two days later they were back and had everything done with no problems. I was totally impressed with their professionalism, their honesty, and their quick service. Would I call on them again? In a heartbeat!

Came on time, educated me on what was going on and why I needed a new motor, answered all my questions, gave me options on price points of motors and gave me the pros and cons on both which gave me the confidence that I was making an informed decision. I was able to get an appointment for install the next day. They came on time and job was done in a timely manner. Clean up completed. I was given detailed instruction on how to use the new equipment and left with an instruction booklet. I asked for a quote for a new garage door and have no doubt I will have it when they come back Friday because I decided to get an aluminum seal for the bottom of the door. I would definitely work with Nate again and do plan to have him install my new door in the future. I would and will recommend him to anyone I know who needs any work on their garage. He is professional, knowledgeable, and personable.

He came right out and examined our garage door. Instead of replacing the roller wheels and adjusting the existing door he recommended replacing it and applying the $100 to the new door. He appeared to be quite knowledgeable and was not pushy but did not have samples, brochures, or other helpful product information to assist our choices. I had him email me more information about different brands and models. I ordered a new door. He came by to pick up the 50% deposit check and called me a few days later after he ordered the door and gave me an estimated arrival date. He called when it arrived and made an appointment to install it. He arrived promptly on the appointed day. He was able to do all the work by himself. He was polite, professional, and worked steadily until the job was finished. It took a little longer than he had anticipated, but we were able to work around that. He left the work area clean. He explained that he had adjusted the door but it didn't quite meet the driveway because our driveway is not completely level. He recommended that we install an additional seal on the garage floor for a complete seal. He was correct, but I wish he had been able to do so himself at the time (at extra cost). He asked if we wanted the extra weather seal, forgetting that we had indeed added it to the contract. I had to remind him we had a $100 credit, also. We are very happy with the new garage door. The insulation kept our garage cooler in the hot weather, and I expect it to keep it a bit warmer in the cold weather, so we are happy with that plus the side weather seal flaps he put on the exterior of the door. All in all we are pleased with the door and installation. I was a little surprised that he hadn't looked closely at the contract again just before he came to pin down the necessary details. I have no doubt, however, that we did indeed need a new door, so I think he is knowledgeable and trustworthy. Next time I would do more shopping around and also get someone who is a member of the Better Business Bureau. I'm not so sure that the garage door tune up would have cost $200 in the first place (the special Deal price was $100.

He was a little late for both appointments, but went right to work when he arrived. Looked over the door and we talked about the springs, etc and he thought all were in good condition for a 20 year old door. Both springs had been replaced about eight years ago and a new door lift was installed at that time, so a lot of the door had already been updated. Happy with the work that was done and the door is operating like new again.

It was fine. He said it didn't need much. He replaced the rollers and it's been working smoothly ever since so I was very pleased. It was very quick. After I got the "Big Deal" they came either that day or the next day and he was right on the dot. It has been a good experience for me and now I have someone I know I can call.

Nathan, from Complete Garage Door Service, was outstanding. I purchased one roller and door servicing. Nathan was very knowledgeable about the problems that can occur with faulty installation. He clearly explained what was wrong with our doors, what was causing the problem and what it would take to fix them. He was very reasonable with pricing for the additional work needed. In addition, we had another outbuilding with a mechanism that was not working due to parts missing. Nathan was confident he could fix it with his spare parts. He found a part and had it working great in no time at all. In my experience, many people would have charged a small fortune to order a cheap part. This really saved me since I had been lifting that heavy door without the mechanism for some time. Nathan was also very conscientious about being prompt. He called to let me know he was running 30 minutes behind. Nathan was very helpful, very professional, and courteous. I highly recommend him.

It was great. They did a really good job. He was very professional and down to earth. I have a trust issue with contractors 'cause I've had so many bad experiences but I didn't have any trust issues with him. I felt very comfortable with him from the very beginning.

Nathan came for general maintenance based on an Angie's List discount coupon. Upon examination, we both concluded that the springs needed to be replaced. There was no pressure, just clear explanation. He located the springs at a supplier, picked them up, and installed them at this visit--no rescheduling. I would recommend Nathan's friendly, efficient, and professional service to everyone who has a garage door.

Being a property manager I'm always looking for businesses that provide great service, quickly (tenants aren't always patient), and at a fair price. Complete Garage Door Service delivered all the above! Within hours of the tenant's notification that the garage door wasn't operating properly Nathan was contacted and the repair work was scheduled...for that same day! He arrived on time, with all the parts necessary to do the job (that's not always the case with some services) and did the work right the first time! I will definitely be calling Complete Garage Door Service for needed repairs on rentals...and for my own home as well. He's that good!

Telephone response was immediate and courteous, and an appointment was made for the next day. I was contacted when his earlier job ran long, and a different appointment time was worked out to my convenience. Work was completed quickly with parts he had on his truck. A week later I called him back because all of a sudden my garage door wouldn't close, it would start down and then just go back up (surely if that happens right after significant repairs it's the repair guy's fault, right?). He came back out and realigned the little light at the bottom on one side, and didn't complain or even point out that since it had worked fine when he left it was clearly a malfunction that I had caused - and he didn't charge me for coming back out. The price seemed in line with what a couple of friends have paid for similar work. This provide installed a new garage door opener for me about 18 months ago and I was similarly pleased that time.
