Description of Work: Checked furnace for winter, not sure of the date. Cost was approximately $39. |The technician was very nice and I felt he did more than required in that he closed all the vents on the outside of the house. This was a great help to me.

Description of Work: I just needed my HVAC assessed and clean for the future buyer's security. They did a nice job as far as I know. I did have to ask a couple times for a sticker to prove it was serviced and when they did mail it, it was just a logo magnet with no service date or info on it.

Description of Work: I contacted them hoping to get a quote for a new heat pump in my condo. First there was a miscommunication on when the guy was supposed to come out and give me a quote. I don't know if it was on their end or my end, I just know that I left work early to meet them and they never showed. Then, I called and they apologized for the miscommunication and agreed to send someone the next day. The guy that showed up the next day gave me a quote on a new heat pump in about 5 minutes. The other four companies that gave me quotes spent 30mins to 1hr looking over the property and calculating their quote. The man from One Hour told me that they did not need to replace the line set even though my 20-30 year old line set ran the old R22 Freon. All other companies insisted on replacing the line set. I gave One Hour an A for price though because they were the cheapest of 5 quotes for the complete heat pump system. I just didn't go with them because I worried about the quality of their product given the difference in their opinion of what equipment should be replaced.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal to have my air conditioner serviced. The tech showed up on time and was pleasant and professional. After about 10 minutes at the A/C, he told me that it was out of refrigerant and since there was probably a leak and the unit requires the old Freon, he recommended that it was time for a new one and proceeded to give me an estimate (and a sales pitch). I told him that I wanted to shop around, so he left without doing any kind of maintenance. I called another company that had been recommended to me. This tech measured the amount of Freon in the system and said there was plenty, no need to do anything this year. The A/C is cooling my house just fine.
