Toms Sprinklers

Tom was great to work with. I had previously scheduled another sprinkler company to do the work but they did not show up even though I gave them 3 chances. That was when I got on Angies list and chose Tom. I called him the afternoon of the 9th of May. He came out on the 10th of May, fixed 5 sprinkler heads and a pipe that was leaking. When he gave me the bill I was amazed as I had less work done the year before by the other company and paid $80 more than what Tom was charging me. Tom was very efficient, punctual and affordable. I already have him scheduled for my sprinkler blow out for both my home and my rental this fall.

He showed up the first day and provided a quote. He fixed the sprinkler the next day. The work he did was wonderful. Will use him again.

Tom responded to my initial phone enquiry within 15 minutes, arrived at the scheduled meeting punctually and had the initial valve problem solved within a few minutes. The larger problem with the cracked line was then diagnosed and he was very flexible about scheduling a time to return and complete the repairs, which were done quickly and expertly. He was also willing to answer lots of questions about the system and components and had good advice on maintaining the system; I'll definitely have Tom back for autumn blow-out and maintenance.

Tom is busy and I can see why - he is really good at his job. He showed up on time, was courteous and polite, performed his work with professionalism and skill and we plan to hire him again.

He has a rating of an "A" already here, reviews on his site. He came out two different times. He was really reasonable. I expected to pay a lot more for what he had done. He actually spent quite a bit of time out there. He did a good job, he was very good at explaining what was happening and how it was working and was very friendly, very knowledgeable, you could tell that he knew what he was talking about. He actually went out to my parent's house when he was done with mine the first time he was out. He did a last minute request. He is pretty good at trying to accommodate people if it's possible. He has pretty good customer service skills. Again he was very reasonably priced.

Response time was great, workers were very cordial and the work was done without any adverse problems. I already have my sprinkler blowout scheduled with them.

I ended up calling Tom after another sprinkler repair company kept standing me up (didn't show 3 different times). Tom set the appointment and made it on time. He went over with me what I wanted and gave me his recommendation, gave me a price, performed the work with good quality and was done within an hour.

Tom came out almost immediatly after I contacted him. He listened to what I needed fixed and then set about going over all the sprinklers and reccomending what he would do. He showed me where things were bad that I didnt even realize were wrong. He gave me an estimate of what it would cost and said he could come out that week to do the repairs. The estimate was VERY reasonable. He worked in my yard all day and was just finishing up when I came home from work. He then took the time to show me everything he did. It all worked perfectly. He spent much longer on the job than he had estimated but the bid was still the same that he gave me to begin with. He was very friendly and I trusted him immediately. I will always use him for any repairs we need in the future.

His work was great he started and finished on time and under his estimate. I would use him again.

Tom was prompt and started work as soon as he arrived. He made adjustments so that I was getting even water coverage, he dug up and raised several heads so they would function better, and capped off unneeded sprinklers.

Went great. Tom came out and assessed the issue, and scheduled with us a time that worked. He showed up as expected, and wasted no time addressing the original issue, and a number of 'surprises' we discovered along the way. We will definitely have him come back for future sprinkler system repairs, additions, etc.

He arrived on time, He assessed the problems. He repaired the problems and charged us a fair price.

Contacted Tom by phone and he tried to help with the problem over the phone. After some discussion he determined that it might be a bigger issue than we could fix over the phone. He offered to come out and take a look but was tied up with other projects until next week so I told him I would try to find another person who could get out sooner. After finishing the call he actually took the time to call back to offer a few more suggestions on potential solutions. If the grass wasn't starting to die I would wait for him but I would definitely call him again in the future.

It was a rainy day and he stilled showed up. We will definitely be using him in the future. Great experience.

He is a good guy. He is super. He is good with people. He is just the guy to do it.

I would definitely call him again in the future. Unfortunately, he doesn't install sprinkler systems - otherwise he would be the first one I'd call to get that done.

Outstanding. He took the time to explain why he had replaced the caps and how I could adjust if needed. We discussed issues I'm having with the flower beds and gave me some recommendations and a quote to make the changes. He will be coming back in May to make the changes and I will be hiring him for turning the sprinklers off and on. Very satisfied with the work.

Tom was very friendly and helpful. He explained possible areas of concern both before and after he serviced my sprinkler system. I called one day and he was out the next afternoon - very quick service!

Called Tom for a blowout. He arrived on time, did the blowout and walked me around the sprinkler system and showed me how everything worked. (I'd bought the house and hadn't used the sprinklers yet.) He was helpful, friendly. I'll call him next year too. By the way, I can't remember if it was exactly $25 or a few bucks more. It was a reasonable price anyway.

Excellent service! Called Tom and he had already put his equipment away for the season. He pulled it out and came same day (within a couple of hours) to perform my sprinkler blowout. I wouldn't expect that kind of service all the time as that is above and beyond. He has earned a loyal customer. DEFINITELY USE TOM'S SERVICES.

Tom was able to give me a quote over the phone after asking my about the size of my lawn and sprinkler system. He was flexible in scheduling and performed the service within a few days of my phone call even though I live in Nampa and he is based in Boise.

Tom and his assistant were fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely use again.

I called him earlier that week and even though he had already done all his sprinkler blow-outs in that part of town, he came back over and got ours done with the late notice. He was great and we are on his schedule to use him next year.

I live out of state and my daughter lives at my house. I found Tom Barber on Angie's list and called for an estimate. He was very responsive and able to work me in immediately. I will definitely use his services in the future.
