Description of Work: Bob came when he said he would and did a very professional job. He and his assistant did a general clean-up job around the yard, trimming trees and shrubs and taking out lots of dead branches, etc. I felt his charges were reasonable. They had to make two trips to the dump with all the trimmings because they have a relatively small truck and no wood chipper. This company is a pleasure to work with!

Description of Work: Cut down two huge, far past-their-prime cherry trees, a tree-like shrub that reached the second story of our home, and cleared dead branches from a Purple Ash. Cleaned up EVERYTHING and, at our request, hauled away all cut wood and debris, leaving our yard neater than it was before they arrived. SE Boise Tree and Shrub provided friendly, excellent, 5-star service and we recommend them without reservation to anyone seeking tree service!

Description of Work: SE Boise Tree and Shrub did a fantastic job. We had a lot of very large trees that needed a lot of trimming, a dead bush that needed to be removed, as well as various pruning. They came in, worked fast and effeciently and cleaned everything up.

Description of Work: They were very professional and just plain knew what to do and how to do it. I expected a chop shop approach to tree trimming whereby a cut here and there would work. But Bob would climb up into the tree and see it from the inside and assess what needed to be done. They also trimmed a bush that was not part of the original estimate at no additional cost. I will be calling and recommending them again. My front yard looks so much better.

Description of Work: Bob pruned and shaped a mugo pine that had gotten too big for its space and a blue spruce that needed a trim. I wanted the trees to look as natural as possible, and Bob did not disappoint. The trees look beautiful and less overgrown. He also gave me advice about how to care for our elm tree; we had been paying someone to treat it, and he showed me how to do it myself. Bob has done some work for us in the past, and I am always impressed with his professionalism, expertise, and fair pricing (on the previous occasion he actually charged me less than the estimate). I have gotten estimates from and used other arborists but now would not use any one else unless Bob were too busy or unable to do the work.

This particular job involved several visits to my home: 1) to apply herbicides to various overgrown weeds and woody type shoots coming up from old tree roots (that I had been cutting back year after year, but they just kept coming back thicker and thicker - I was losing the battle with those shoots coming up every year!)... 2) shrub pruining & shaping of arbivitae and junipers (very large and high hedges) & re-checking and spot sraying the herbicides where needed... 3) returning to cut out the dead weeds & woody shoots and hauling off. Bob performed all tasks as planned. When he needed to reschedule a visit to my home he always called in advance (rather than just not showing up and then calling later like a lot of contractors seem to do) - Bob was also prompt and professional. I am very pleased with how my yard appears after he completed the work. There was one mishap with breaking a very shallow sprinkler line (not really his fault in my opinion - it was a very unusual spot for a sprinkler line to be - and as I said, it was very shallow too). Bob offered to come out and fix that problem - he took responsibility for the problem which I appreciated. But it was a quick fix that I was able to take care of myself. Bob even offered to let me take a few dollars off his final bill for doing that fix myself. I have now arranged to be on Bob's annual schedule for regular pruning and landscape maintenance. I would recommend him highly!

Very friendly and customer-oriented. Offered to come back and check on his work after a few weeks ? no extra charge. Would use again and recommend to others.

He called a few days later (sooner than I had expected) to set up a time to remove the tree. He arrived on time, was efficient and did exactly what he promised. He did a great job and charged us less than his estimate.

There was not a leaf or a twig left on the lawn, step, drive or sidewalk and he repaired the planting bed where the tree had been.
