Madison Roofing's prices were incredible. The quality was great and the workmanship. they did everything they said they would. The guy came out a couple of weeks later to make sure everything was lying as it should. It's a beautiful roof. He recommended something different to what I wanted and he was right. Somebody else quoted me $50,000 for the same job!

Had a tech come out and look over the roof was already on the job as I called to see if when he was going to come by.. Offered to fix the immediate problem and offered suggestions to additional general maintenance.. Told me "your going to have to replace your roof, not right now but it will have to be done" .. I took it as 'hey your going to die one day so let me pitch you how much its going to be to make sure you don't'...:) Didnt have a problem with that, he was fair and honest let me know that It isnt a dire emergency just that it (the roof) was showing its age. So he fixed up the shingles and what I have to assume is a good job, nothing is leaking.. but $125 for a patch job that took 20 minutes to do, I thought it 'maybe' a little over priced but based on these AL.com reviews didn't negotiate... One very cool thing is in this electronic age, he couldn't take my CC for payment so being a cash-less person I had to reschedule... so he offered to do the work and just have them bill me later.. which I liked the trust and convenience.. When that time comes to spend 20k (his quick estimate) to do the job will definitely have them in the front running for the work!

I emailed the company requesting an estimate to replace shingles that had blown off. Within a few hours, I had an email back saying that one of the estimators would be contacting me. When the estimator called, I set up a time for him to come by the house. He was ahead of schedule so asked if he could go by the house while I was at work and do the estimate. I agreed and when he called back, he said that there was only one small section of the roof that needed repair and he went ahead and fixed it while he was there at no charge.Wow - I was amazed and will definitely use them again.

the job went extremely well. The crew was efficient, fast and careful of our house and the landscaping in both the roof tearoff and the installation.

Hans was our main point of contact and was very responsive right from our very first inquiry. He promptly went to look at the house and submitted a price proposal, then patiently and thoroughly responded to all of our many questions, always in a timely manner. When Hans went out of town for several days, the owner of the company and members of the office staff responded quickly to my barrage of questions. The work crew arrived on the day and time agreed, and completed the job within the estimated length of time. They cleaned-up the site every day and in general were very professional. The installation turned out very well - our ol' 1901 house looks handsome again! We were very pleased with the entire experience, and the best part was, Madison's price was the best of three price quotes we received (albeit not my much; nevertheless, it was still the lowest). I would recommend them to anyone.

All company representatives were very professional. The job started on time and was completed before promised end date. The price was the same as the bid to the dollar. The worksite clean-up was excellent.

We had a leak around a sewer vent pipe on our aging tile roof. Madison stopped by to give us an estimate one day after we called, and completed the work within a week. They were very professional, took time to explain their recommendations and the process they would use. The men who did the repair were great about calling ahead to give us an arrival time frame, and worked creatively around intermittent rain to complete the repair. They were careful on a delicate tile roof, and cleaned up nicely after the work was completed. We had rain in the following days, and the leak did not reappear! They encouraged us to call if we had any recurring problems, and they would take care of it.

The young men was on time & went straight to work. When done he answered all my question and showed me the old parts. Explained why my root leaked.

It started out with the vent in my bathroom leaking so I thought I needed a whole new roof. So I called different roofers. One said the roof was in bad shape another said it wasn't to bad another said I just needed to replace the vents. However, Madison Roofing went the extra mile and checked to pole jacks as well. Attention to detail is what got me to go with them. I would use them again should I need something done with my roof.

Job ws very late getting started due to weather - very wet winter and spring making it unsafe for roof work (especially removal of that old cedar shake). Once they got started, they got it done very quickly. Quality looks very good to me, altho I'm no expert. During the work, they advised that existing roof venting was inadequate for use with the new asphaltic shingles. Cost about $1500 extra to install vented shingle on the top ridges. They explained and showed me the problem, and happily answered all my questions (which got rather detailed, as I was researching it on the web). I had no problem with their recommendation, and I thought their price fo the extra work was reasonable. Only problem was that I had just installed a new type of gutter shield that got clogged with beads from the shingles wherever two upper roof sections drain down to the same lower roof area. It would have been better if they had told me ahead of time, instead of at the end, that this type of roof sheds beads like that. But, I don't feel I can fault them for that since this a new type of gutter shield system. Overall - I think they did an excellent job and they were excellent to work with.

Everything went well even though we were not home.

I received four bids for this job. Madison Roofing wasn't the lowest bid nor the highest. Their professionalism showed from the moment Hans Weikl drove into my driveway. Hans is very personable and very knowledgeable about the roofing business. He answered all my questions and was very willing to work with my schedule. I received their bid by mail in three days. The bid sheet was professional and outlined all work to be completed. It included product information and company contact information. Hans included his business card and answered his cell phone every time I called. I was out of town on the day they started the removal, Hans instructed the crew he wanted the removal and new decking and dry sheet completed before I returned home that evening. I was very happy to see all that work done when I returned home. If not for the new decking and dry sheet, you would never known they had been there. The clean up was fantastic. Hans made multiple inspection visits to the job site to see that the work was completed as outlined. I am very pleased with the professional installation and look of my new roof and highly recommend Madison Roofing for all your roofing needs.

This was probably the best contract I've ever entered. Hans was professional and helpful. The pricing was significant;y less than other bids I'd gotten. They showed up on schedule and finished the job in two days, just as scheduled. I love my roof! They also found something that hadn't been done and they did it. They suggested things that needed to be done related to the chimney. Hans made a follow-up trip to see how the roof looked. The workers stayed on task. Great company, excellent product!

Madison Roofing, and Hans in particular, was pleasant and professional from first contact through the final completion of the job. Even though we had some peculiar circumstances (a roof mounted thermal hot water system) they worked seamlessly with the other contractors to get the job done on time. We ran into a problem when a skylight was broken and Hans worked with us to get estimates and get the skylight repaired. I would absolutely, and without reservation use them again, though I'm hoping I won't have to as long as we own this home.
