Amazingly well. Quality material and workmanship. Professional employees and a job well done. They completed all details such as cleaning and maintenance of gutters. They painted the vents on the roof to match the color of my roof. I am pleased to be able to recommend their work and performance.

I was very happy with the repair work done on our roof, by Madison Roofing. There had apparently been an ice dam several years ago, and the repair done then, was not done properly. I noticed a similar repair that was done on a home in my neighborhood, so I knocked on the door to ask who had done it. This repair although only seen from street level, appeared to stand far above what I had on my home. The material used actually was a close match to his existing shingles. Mine was WHITE! While I was on the roof, I also had noticed the outlet for my dryer was plastic, and of course was cracked all the way around. Madison replaced that with a vent that was not only metal, but was sized right for proper venting flow. This is very important in a vertically placed dryer vent. I only rated a B on response because it did take a while to get on the schedule, but I am finding this to be true with all trades here locally. There simply is a lot of work in this area right now, and one should not expect anything to be done the next day. I have no doubt however, if this had been a serious issue with the roof actually leaking, Madison would have been here promptly to repair the problem. Thanks Madison, the issue is resolved.

Our roof was completed during the hottest days of the summer!! The tear off crew was amazing! They never quit--worked through the terrible heat and stayed late to make sure everything was totally cleaned up. The shingle guys were very efficient! Roofers arrived on time and did an excellent job. Most roofing debris was cleaned up but a very few fragments of roofing and nails were found later. This is normal. The workers who delivered the roofing placed one stack on the roof poorly. That stack slid off the roof late one night. Madison cleaned up the mess and fixed our damaged gutter promptly.

Just fair. After a couple of missed appointments they buckled down and did a beautiful job. My neighbor stopped by just to say it was a beautiful job and another neighbor requested a quote. We are pleased as punch with the final outcome. Thank you Jonathan for tying up all the lose ends! Great job guys!

They built supports for plants and tarped over many plantings, made areas to send down old roofing, and cleaned up as if there had never been work done. Excellent crew that were helpful doing a good job. The roof looks wonderful. They completed reinstalling the Gutter Helmet and it is ready for the years ahead. Manager, Jonathan, was great to work with.

There was some confusion at first thus the responsiveness score. Excellent work and price.

They were quite responsive. I had trouble with it leaking behind the gutter, and I had the gutter replaced and that still didn't solve the problem so they had to do a little more major roof repair.

Workers were professional, prompt and courteous. We were notified when the crew encountered issues and were able to resolve quickly.

I think they did a good job. My husband was satisfied with them and they did a great job. They came out very promptly. It was not very expensive. He was very satisfied with the price. We have not had another leak in the roof. It worked out very well. My husband was very happy with them. They were very professional.

Madison Roofing did a great job with my roof. They were professional, all of the workers were polite and friendly, and paid attention to details. The roof looks great and it was completed with high-quality workmanship. The cost of the roof was a bit more than usual since we had them install the peel-and-stick underlayment throughout the roof. I enjoyed working with them and would hire them again.

It went great. Madison Roofing was very quick in getting us a quote to do the job and they were even able to save us some money. They were very efficent in removing the old roof and hauling off the property. They had the new roof on in a very timely manner and it looked better than the original. I was a bit annoyed with having a newer house and having loose shingles so I called Madison Roofing who came over the next day and repaired the shingles with no fuss and VERY professional. I have heard about them from a friend of mine who was very please with their work. Not only were they professional they understood my frustration with my roof and were more than thorough with going over my entire roof, to be sure I wouldn't have any more issues with loose shingles with winter coming. I feel SO much more relieved having them look at my roof especially with winter coming. They truly didn't have to go the extra mile but they did for my own state of mind, and for that I am writing this, for I can NOT express how impressed I am with their work and professionalism.

Crews showed up on time as promised, job site was kept super clean, both the tear off and installation crews were very conscientious. I have some construction experience, no shortcuts on their work. When the job was completed one of the roofers took me up to the roof to give me a tour to explain everything they did that wasn't obvious from the ground. I have no hesitation recommending Madison Roofing.

I'm very happy with the results, and feel my shingles, venting, gutters, and skylights are in better shape now than when the house was brand new. Jonathan was my main contact and a pleasure to work with. He was informative, trustworthy, and responsive throughout. I was impressed with Madison's attention to quality, detail and commitment to get everything right. My home had a few roof quirks that required special flashing and other custom details, and the handling of these was well planned out and executed. Getting my insurance claim from hail damage went smoothly and Madison's helped with the communication, resulting in my settlement covering everything. There was very little adverse impact on my house exterior and landscaping, which I had heard from neighbors can be difficult to safeguard in a re-roof. One minor skylight part from the old skylights that I wanted to keep was inadvertently lost along the way, and Madison's replaced it with a new part. If it's important to you that things get done right, I think Madison's is a good choice for you. By the way, if you've never had a complete re-roof before, be prepared for a big project! Even with a solid company like Madison's, don't underestimate the value of extensive advance planning, scheduling, rounds of questions/answers/clarifications, discussions of contingencies in case of weather delays, etc. It can get a bit noisy at times too! Have some flexibility as things evolve and you should be happy in the end.

They were wonderful to work with! Jonathan was my main contact. He was polite, professional, and not pushy at all. He told me in advance what to expect on each day, when the work would start and finish, and was always responsive to my calls and e-mails. The bill exactly matched the estimate - there were no surprises. The team finished the job about 6 months ago, and we've had plenty of rain and snow since. There have been no leaks or issues of any kind. I am thrilled with their work and would highly recommend them.

Contacted company over a month ago to get a bid. They never called to set up an appointment with me. Sent a message through Angie's list and finally got a call to set up the appointment. The worker stopped by and just sat in his truck (I was outside doing yard work). I went out by the truck to check the mail box by the truck and still could not get his attention. After waiting for him to get out of his truck for 15 minutes and no call. I guess he noticed me doing yard work as he was pulling away. No appoligy from him, just him spouting off that I was waisting his time. I guess that I should not have begged my wife into giving them "one more chance".

I called three contractors from Angie's List. All of them said that they would go to the project and get back to me with a price. Madison Roofing was out to look at the project the next day. I never saw or had a call back from the other two contractors. I called them back to give them the go on the project, and they gave me a date about two weeks out which was good for me. They caked me after a week and said that they could start a week earlier. They got the job done ahead of time and it was a great job. I would definitely use them again and refer them to anyone.

Original contact was in early June to scope and bid roof replacement. Roofing contractor showed up to estimate job without a ladder or a tape measure and had to borrow mine. In order to save some money on the total cost of the project, I elected to complete the removal of the existing roof myself. The contractor made a "big deal" about how I would have to make sure the removal was finished on time so his crew could start on time. The installation date was scheduled for September 2nd ( more than 2 1/2 months from the date the contract was signed). My work with the removal was completed (early) and the contractor was actually able to get the synthetic underlayment installed a day early - on September 1. Unfortunately, that is where their timeliness stopped. The shingle installers did not show up until September 6th (finished on September 10th) and the new chimney cap and shroud was not installed until September 30th. Fortunately, we don't get much rain in this area at this time of year... Overall, the workmanship is good quality but not exceptional. Although, the real evidence won't be known until we experience some winter weather and everything inside remains dry. Ultimately, a roofing contractor only gets one chance to make a positive impression. I busted my butt getting the old roof removed and was more than a little disappointed that the installation of the roof did not happen as agreed. Also, nearly a month delay in installing the chimney cap and shroud was inexcusable considering they had over 2 1/2 months to prepare this component. For this reason, I have reservations about recommending this contractor.

Very well. Once we got the start schedule established (we had some bad weather delaying the start) Madison did everything they said they would, on time. My wife was nervous about debris in her garden after the tear off but we found none nor did they do any damage to the plants. The foreman would stop by periodically and was also here when the materials were delivered making sure everything was ok. We got several bids from others on Angie's list but Madison was the only one that hand delivered the bid and explained the options.
