About us

Kleaning by Kelly was started 25 years ago by Kelly Reams. I was a single mom & wanted to work mother hours. For the last 25 years I have cleaned by myself. In the last 2 years I have taken my son on as an employee. Who is a single dad & someone I can trust. He was working 50 hours a week & wasn't able to spend the time with his daughter he needed. Also, my daughter & niece joined our team in July. My business will always have a family member Involved. Will always be cleaned by my motto"I will clean your home like I clean my own". For your convenience top notch cleaning services are available in IA. and FL. Please call for details.

Description of Work: I thought this was a deep clean. It was not. My window sills were not dusted nor my baseboards. Other basic things were not done. It was the type of cleaning I could just do on my own. I was hoping for something more thorough. However, what they did do was great. They did a very good job on the bathrooms! Description of Work: I paid $149 for what was called a deep cleaning. This was not a deep cleaning - at least by my standards. Two people came to my house and in 1 hour and 10 minutes they were done. It takes me well over three hours to vacuum my carpets and furniture and longer if I wash my kitchen and bathroom floors. A deep cleaning should take two people longer than 1 hour 10 minutes to complete. This was terribly over-priced.

Description of Work: They arrived a bit later than originally scheduled, but did call to let us know. Kelly and 2 family members. The house hadn't been deep cleaned for months due to family health issues, so they had a lot of work to do. They did a great job from top to bottom. Quick, friendly, efficient and thorough. We will use them again.

Description of Work: The bathroom looked amazing. I thought the tub was going to be stained orange until it was replaced. The hardwood floors looked great, EXCEPT when I moved the couch to find what the cat was batting at, I saw that she didn't move the couch to sweep, also didn't sweep (dust) under the TV stand. Maybe a little heavy on the toxic cleaners. I never thought to mention my intolerance of scented cleaning products

Description of Work: This was not a "deep" clean by any stretch of the definition. It wasn't even a very good "basic" clean. Items such as patio door, blinds, front of refrigerator were very clean but the carpet was vacuumed very poorly (they used my handheld car vacuum when I specifically told her where my regular vacuum was), the toilets didn't appear to have been touches, and the tub surrounds were barely, if at all touched. I was very disappointed in the overall service. I was hoping to find a long-term cleaning person but this was not it.

Yes, I did tell you not to pay through Angies List, because as you explained to me you had been without help from your daughter for several weeks.I didn't know what I was getting into without coming to give you a estimate.When I came to your house the first day I had several hours. I spent 3 hours in your bathroom and kitchen. And I really didn't get all of your kitchen clean. I was overwhelmed. So I thought it would be better to come another day. I honestly hate to be complaining, but [member name] you have piles and piles of things that need to be gone through. I came back another day and spent some more time, but I didn't feel I was getting anywhere. I left and called you several days later to ask you if I could more bring more help with me. You said no. Description of Work: They vaccumed, dusted, wiped the floors and bathrooms down, cleaned mirrors, and wiped kitchen down. Overall I was pleased. I had thought the bathrooms were going to be scoured sinks, toilets, showers and tub but that wasn't done. The tub and shower areas were the same as before they came. If I use them again I would request that work be done. They were very professional to work with and feel they very much wanted to please.
