Jim is a gem. He absolutely loves what he does, and it shines through in his meticulous work. He went above and beyond what we expected. It took longer than expected, but it wasn’t because he wasn’t putting in the hours. He will work late, and on weekends to get it done. He just wants to get it done right. He hit a ton of obstacles with our house, and just kept going. He gave us a few suggestions about painting our kitchen cabinets we were skeptical about. My husband is an artist by trade, and knows color. Jim asked us to try his recommendation. He would change it for free if we didn’t like it. I ended up with a gorgeous kitchen. We just couldn’t envision what Jim could. Jim is a talented and experienced artist. He’s also honest and hardworking. My husband and I are both picky to a fault. I wouldn’t want anyone else to paint for us. I just hope we can get him back. His wait list for new clients is 3 weeks!

Jim is very friendly and motivated to please. He is very concerned with the final product. He took his time to ensure it was done right. Our home looks like it’s new! If Jim was going to be late or needed to alter him schedule, he was good about communicating this with us. We hired Jim because he is all about the quality. He has beautiful lines and is a perfectionist about the results. Other service providers in our home have commented on the lines being well done and how lovely the house looks!

Jim did an excellent job painting . I call him a perfectionist in performing the job. He calls ahead of time, is very easy to communicate with, honest and goes the extra mile to satisfy his customer. I recommend him highly!

Great! Jim is professional and always texted or called to let us know when he would be arriving. Easy to work with and a gentleman. He has just a tiny touchup to do, but it got too cold so he said he would return in the Spring and touch it up and we have no doubt he will do it. Nice to work with someone trusted!

The fence looks spectacular. We never would have been able to make it look so good if we had tried to do it ourselves. Using a generator and multiple tarps to protect the neighbor's yard, our evergreens and various permanent shrubs along sections of the fence; no one had a single complaint. Local traffic is slowing down to admire the difference in our "new" fence. Jim is very hard working and tries to do his very best every day. He was more particular about the details than we were. He takes a great deal of pride in his painting projects. He regularly communicated with us to make sure he was doing what was expected, and we were satisfied with his work. We are so glad we hired him. We would do so again.

Jim Ferguson did a great job. Our home exterior was in very bad shape, and now it has never looked better. He did extensive prep work, power washing, stripping and re-calked everything, including the siding nail holes. The prep work and calking was exceptionally good and detailed. He didn't cut corners and it seemed as if he treated our home like he would his own. He did extra things above the original scope, such as painting the house numbers, installing new porch lighting and helping remove some shrubs in our landscaping. He even helped when my kids locked us out of the house. I have had work done by other painters in the past, but the results from Jim's work are hands down the best.

It went very well. I was giving Jim number thru a friend that does estate sales. My friend said Jim has not painted in almost 3 years due to a injury he acquired while he was painting in Oregon. Jim did a fantastic job. Was on time every day. Cleaned up after himself at the end of the day. Jim went beyond. Jim did some Extras that made my two rooms vey nice. And did not charge me. He is very polite and always happy and smiling when he showed up in the morning for work. Jim is a fantastic person. Jim also on top of painting, takes care of his parents full time. He said he will continue to do so until they need more assistance.

Very well, I was very impressed, but now to reschedule for this year, his number is "non-working". Please provide new contact details, out of 5 bids we received last year, he's the only one I'd want to work with. I don't want to give an F, rather an A for last years bid, but updated contact details is a must!

They were on time and completed more in 8 hours than we ever expected.

This rating is based on the company's lack of response. I don't know what his work quality is like because I never got that far in the process because his lack of response. Tried calling- but calls are never answered. Left voicemail, but call never returned. If someone doesn't return/ answer calls before they get my business, I don't want to find out what they'll do/or won't do once they get my money.

They got right back to me to let me know they were booked through the end of the year, so I found someone else to do the work. I appreciated how quickly and professionally he responded.

After a rough start scheduling the job, the results were well worth the wait. Neighbors all stop by and admire the job.

As part of his quote, he pressure washed the entire house, patio, walkway, driveway and sidewalks on our property. He caulked all of the doors, windows, siding, eves and overhangs. (I have never seen another painter that put so much work and effort in to caulking and protecting a home). Additionally he put on two coats of paint for the main house and two coats of paint on the trim work. He removed all light fixtures, down spouts, door bells, house numbers and any other object in order to "paint the entire house". The entire house was taped off and protected from any over spray. Landscaping was covered and projected and they even put out the effort to cover our 32' RV so it would not get any overspray. The house looks absolutely incredible! The paint job is one of the best I have seen and you can really see all the details in his work. Jim Ferguson Painting goes beyond what is expected of a painter. He cares about his work and really wants the home owner to be happy. I have since recommended Jim and his team to my friends and neighbors. And I would happily hire him again when it's time to paint again.

James is a perfectionist, and it showed in the wonderful job he did for us. The house still stands out in the neighborhood. please see my previous evaluation at the time of the job. We have kept in touch with James and he is doing well.

Jim did a great job on our house. I appreciate the thorough calking job as well as the thorough painting job he and his buddy did on our house.
