Jim recently painted a custom built-in entertainment center in our home. The project was in our finished basement and Jim went above and beyond to protect our home when setting up his paint area. He was responsive, punctual, and completed on schedule. He is an excellent painter, detail oriented, and holds himself to an incredibly high standard. Highly recommend!

Jim did an excellent job with our kitchen cabinets and I would definitely hire him again. He is very hard working, dependable (always sent a text if he would even be a few minutes delayed), professional and a perfectionist. His attention to detail is beyond compare. During the project he had several ideas that I had not even thought of, but ended up making the cabinets look terrific. I give him the highest rating and have recommended him to several friends.

I have used Jim on many of my projects. He is very professional and bends over backwards to make his jobs the best he possible can. I have referred him to may of my friends and always nothing but but great feedback from them on there jobs. Jim is a hardworking and Honest person. Will always refer him to my friends and family.

Beware! Don’t waste your time. Unreliable! Updated to include texts of all communication. Not only is he unprofessional, but he is also a liar. I was very accommodating of his delay and in no way demanded anything of him. In fact, I told him to think about it and get back to me later with a written bid. I would NOT trust a blatant liar in my home under any circumstances! I contacted Jim for an interior paint quote on a new home purchase. I informed him up front that it’s a large home (4500 sq feet), and I wanted the entire interior painted. He enthusiastically contacted me, and we set up an in person quote for a few days later. After I showed him the house, he took me to a home where he was completing an interior painting job to show me the quality of his work. He then provided a verbal estimate of $5/sq ft=22,500k. After I left, he increased this to 22,500 plus 5-6K for paint (which is EXTREMELY high after getting several other quotes)...for a total of about 28k. After a few minutes, he then decreased this amount significantly to 18k plus 5-6K for materials. I agreed to this and asked what date he could start. He told me that he was busy and would get back to me that night. I waited for three days and didn’t hear from him, so I started to get concerned that he disappeared and started contacting other companies, as I would like to get the work done in a timely manner. When he finally contacted me again, I let him know I was getting one additional quote, and he told me he was no longer interested in doing the work. I’m willing to pay any amount for quality work, but I don’t appreciate my time being wasted by someone that doesn’t want my business. This was truly a bizarre interaction.

Jim Ferguson did wonderful work on our cabinets! He is professional, hard-working, and a perfectionist who doesn't consider his job done until his own very high standards are met. We strongly recommend Jim and his fine work.

Great job. Jim picked up and delivered our 20-30 year old solid wood kitchen table. Not only did he sand and stain, but he removed the years of nicks and dents. We asked for a semigloss matte finish in place of the shiny finish which showed every handprint. This is much easier to clean.

Jim took on a challenging job for us, helping to get our mother’s home ready for sale. The work he’s done is excellent. His paint work is top notch - clean lines, great contrasts, absolutely beautiful - it has transformed the look of the home. He also rebuilt a wood deck for us; it looks like new. He did many additional small jobs, and offered suggestions and recommendations to help us get the outcome we were looking for. Jim is an efficient worker who is professional, courteous and an excellent communicator. He would be my first choice for any future work, and I give him the highest recommendation.

Jim went above and beyond. We had him paint several pieces of furniture and they turned out perfectly. We will hire him again. Example in photos- we had a green crib and he painted it white. Looks great!

Great! The patio looks like new with shiny black wrought iron furniture and clean bricks and grout — Sealed to last! Jim did everything - quote to finish - in just a few days. Easy to work with and very personable.

As always Jim has done a fabulous job. He had also called to tell me a couple weeks prior that he had fired his helper and is still coming just might be a bit longer. Jim has no problem with communication has always follows thru with everything. He is very easy to work with has great ideas and the final product is top notch!
