Jason did a great job. I called late Monday morning , left a voice mail, and Jason called me back within 30mins stating he would get to us late afternoon or early evening. Being that this was our only tub/shower, I called Jason at 6pm to see if were still on his list for the day. He called me back within 10-15mins stating he had just finished up his a job and was on his way to our house. Jason arrived soon after that conversation and assessed the situation with our drain. About 5-10 minutes later he knew what he needed to fix it and said he would run to Menards to grab the necessary parts. He returned in about 30 mins with the part and was finished fixing the drain in another 30-ish minutes. Jason was funny, kind, efficient and well priced. Very happy and recommended Jason to my niece.

I had a estimate appointment set up with Jason. He communicated with me the day before and verified the time and location. On the day of the appointment I had to change the schedule. He was very flexible and came out the next morning to look at our project. Jason came out in the morning, listened carefully to our needs and concerns about the gas line. He took measurements and talked about the way that this project would be done. He also calculated on the spot the amount for materials and an approximate amount of time that the project would take. He arrived the day of the project as planned. Seeing that the access to the stove area was much better than anticipated, he said the work would take less time and thus the project as a whole would cost less. He got to work quickly and was all business from that point on. Jason did a great job in getting our gas line up through the basement and into the kitchen. He also ran a gas line to the dryer area, so that we could get a gas dryer in the future, which is our hope when this dryer gives out. In the end Jason completed the job early and had everything cleaned up well. His original estimate was $450, but since the access into the the kitchen was less complicated and he took less time the final cost was $325. The job he did was worth the full estimate, but he has honest about his time and did not charge us for time he did not work!

Called and set up a time. Arrived on time and explained what I needed done. Gave me a price and I agreed. Work time was setup and was done on time with no inconvenience to me.

Had set up a Saturday appointment. Jason arrived right on time ready to go to work.Had issue with the laundry faucet that really surfaced when new washer was installed. Couldn't replace hose because faucet was so corroded. The hose had to be cut off the faucet to it could be removed and it was in really tight quarters. While he was in the back of the washer replacing the hose, I asked him to fix the dryer vent tube which I had accidentally collapsed. I couldn't reach it so was very glad he could get to it. The shower water flow had slowed to a trickle over time and now was running only hot water. Relacing the valve required cutting a larger access in the shower stall wall, hence requiring the conversion plate. All of this work was performed in less than an hour. Everything was cleaned up perfectly after work was completed. I am completely pleased with the professional manner this was done, and will definitely use Jason Young when the need arises.

I called Jason on Friday afternoon to see if I could set up an appointment for Monday to have him come look at a leak underneath our kitchen sink. We set up the appointment for Monday at 8:30 am.Jason showed up promptly at 8:30 am and quickly diagnosed the problem with the pipes (small hole). He also noticed the garbabe disposal trap needed to be replaced, and asked if I would like him to repair the other connecting pipes under the sink that had been done years earlier and were a bit shaky.He explained he needed to run to hardware store to pick up a few needed items and woul be right back. He went and got the needed parts and had them installed and any mess he had made cleaned up by 9:30 am.I found Jason to be very professional and friendly (even towards our 4 cats that were insisting on "helping"). We discussed options for replacing the garbage disposal in the future and got his recommendations.A very painless experience and we will definitely be using Jason in the future for our (hopefully few) plumbing needs.

i saw him on angies list and gave him a call to fix my clogged drain. he came that day! got the job done in no time and it did not cost me an arm and a leg!

Our water heater had sprung a leak in the junction between the cold water line and water heater, so we didn't have hot water available Thursday night. The next morning we needed someone to come work on it immediately. Jason was the only plumber I could get a hold of that could stop by and work on it that very day. He said the dip tube was rusted out and needed to be replaced, but even then it might be only another year before the entire water heater needed to be replaced. Unfortunately no one had one in stock for a Bradford White heater. our only alternative was to replace it with a new water heater. He went through the process of pulling a permit with the City of Ames and proceeded to put in a Ruud water heater. The new heater and work done by Jason looked a lot neater and of better quality than the previous Bradford White heater put in by the C and K company. The plumbing inspector came on Monday and said everything looked good. It was $900 for everything, the only drawback is that they don't take credit cards. Only time will tell but for now we are happy with the service Jason provided.

Jason did very professional work. He worked with a family member who learned a bit from him. We called him back when another problem came up. The family members refer to him now as 'our' plumber.

It went great, it was quick and he told me exactly what his plans were. He did as he indicated and fixed it without any unnecessary items. I even called him a few weeks later for an unrelated problem and same scenario. He is a no-nonsense guy and totally appreciate that.

This was a great example of customer service. We would highly recommend Jason, and will use him again should the need arise.

Thank-you so much Jason for helping my daughter. On Saturday April 21st around 7:00 pm I received a frantic call from my daughter that her kitchen was flooding. She didn't have the time to try and find someone nor did she know who to call. She is a new home owner and has never needed a plumber. So she called mom... who lives an hour away. I pulled up Angie's List and found Jason. Jason and her spoke on the phone and he found out what the problem was. He came over on Sunday and spent a couple of hours fixing her problem. Thank-you Jason for helping my daughter.

We contacted Jason for a clog on a Saturday evening in early March. He came over Sunday evening and fixed our kitchen clog in about an hour for 80 bucks. I proceeded to ask him about bidding to fix our water pressure issues in our Kitchen on the hot water side. So he took the time to walk through the basement, ask questions about things he thought should be fixed/brought up to code, and supplied a bid for the work in the next week. His bid was resonable for all the work he proposed, so we brought him in to do it on March 30th. He helped with an additional situation that come up the day he arrived; this was unrelated to his bid and he did not charge us for the time he spent fixing it, which was not a plumbing issue, and I did email him about it before he arrived.. It probably set him back a couple hours on the 30th. He stayed late to finish as much as he could that Friday the 30th, but he did have to come back and finish on Saturday. He was tidy, professional, and passionate about what he was doing. When we had a little leak, he promptly returned to fix it. We have already given his name to a friend who needed some plumbing done.

I would recommend them to others. I would grade them an A.

I decided to replace my bathroom vanity and the new vanity didn't fit quite right. I called Jason to have him come and relocate a water line so I could finish my work. He promptly came out the next day and performed the work I requested. He even opted to reuse some of my existing hardware instead of replacing it. He did a great job and I couldn't be happier!

Jason was great! He was the third plumbing company I called and the only one who answered the phone. I tried calling two other plumbers and it took each of them 3 hours just to return my call. By that time, I had already set the appointment with Jason. He was very happy to work with my schedule and he arrived right on time. Once here, he tried running the snake into the drain from the kitchen and couldn't get the clog. So, he went into the basement and ran the snake up from the cleanout cap on the other side of the house. That worked. Once the blockage was clear, he ran water in the sink for 5-10 minutes to test the drain. In the mean time, he cleaned everything up for me (a few drips under the sink and on the concrete floor in the basement by the drain... nothing bad). Overall, he was in and out in about an hour. Jason is a VERY nice guy and I could tell that he was happy to help me with my problem. His personality turned a crummy situation into a positive experience and I won't hesitate to use him again in the future. I highly recommend him!

Everything went excellent and the work was done at a reasonable price. He was prompt and professional. I feel as though he was trying to create a client instead of just do a job for me.

I was very pleased with Mr.Youngs service he showed up very quickly. He repaired my drain problem at a much more affordable rate then three other companies I called. He was very pleasant and kept the area he worked in clean. He also noticed some issues in my laundry area and explained several do it at home cheap fixes to avoid long term damage. I feel he went above and beyond in his service and will use his company again next year when I am ready to break the concrete and clear out the roots as he gave me an affordable rate on that as well.

Jason was in my house last week. He will be back next week. The job that he did was great. He is a very pleasant person. He is really so good that I would adopt him if I could. He explains what he is doing and gets it done. He put two fans in and a light in one of them but the other light that I had was of a wrong size. He told me exactly what I need to get. He told me to give him a call when I have it and he would come back. I think he charged $300 for the first one and he said he would charge me when he comes back next week. I am so happy that I found him on Angie’s List. I have recommended him to others. I am really pleased. I would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future.

Jason came in and prepped the replcement disposal and proceeded to cut off the old pipe and install new PVC and install the new trap and disposal in good time.

Went excellent. He showed up on time, was efficient, knowledgeable, and the cost was reasonable. Plan to use Jason going forward on all my plumbing projects.
