During a high wind storm the 4x4 holding up a panel of my cedar privacy fence and attached gate snapped and fell. On 4/1/14 I left a message to discuss getting an estimate for my fence that had been damaged by the wind. On the 2nd I got a return call I gave them the information and address and they left an estimate for $600 in indicating that 3 posts, the panel and gate would need to be replaced. After looking at the gate and concluding it could be reused I contacted them on the 5th and and told them that also telling them that I only need this repair to last a year as we plan on having the fence replaced with a vinyl one next year. They said if they could reuse the gate it would be around $400. I asked how long until they could get to it and was told 2-3 weeks (14-21 days) depending on the weather and I agreed to have them do the work. As of yesterday almost 4 1/2 weeks later I haven't had further contact but still have a 12' hole in my fence. Not willing to wait any longer I went ahead and dug out the snapped post and 2' of concrete replacing it myself. The last few weeks we have had quite a bit of rain and I can understand them running behind but I would have thought sometime near the end of the 21 to 30 days they would have called me to let me know they were behind due to weather and they had me on their list. Nothing. They have obviously lost my future business of replacing over 48 panels of fence and 3 gates, I thought this would have motivated them somehow.

Left a message with Alan the owner who returned my call 48 hrs later. After that everything was relatively quick. Mr. Comegys was punctual, and keeps himself and crew on schedule. The work was exacty what we wanted and is quality work. Very professional and polite people. Unbeknown to us (we hadn't paid attention) a previous neighbor had attached his fence to ours, so a section of that fencing fell, and at our request Alan and crew uprighted and repaired the neighbors fence for him. We offered to pay, but Alan chose to do the repair for the neighbor at no extra cost. THANK YOU to Alan and his crew from us and our current grateful neighbor. Hire Comegys Construction for a pleasant no stress and quality job. I found also the price quote to be fair and reasonable in comparison with other quotes.

Excellent contractor! On-time for all work, including appointment to give free estimate. Very personable and excellent communicator. Had a small problem with one of the gates and came out the next day, took the gate off to have re-sized and had it back on in the promised time. Very competitive pricing. Would hire again! Good guy!

Alan and his crew got it done right and in a timely manner. A few days after the work was done we had some storm damage and Alan came right out and took care of it. I would highly recommend his work.

Alan (the owner) was very professional and performed all the work as quoted and at price that was quoted. He responded quickly to my first call and gave a reasonable time frame to have the work started and completed (considering the weather). He was very understanding when I had to push back the date to have the work done and then followed up and completed the work as soon was possible after that. The fence looks great and Alan and his crew left the yard looking great (i.e. they cleaned up after them selves completely). I would highly recommend Alan and will definitely use him again in the future for any of my fencing needs.

Comegys Construction was on time for the estimate appointment and took time to answer all my questions. He returned all calls in a timely manner between estimate and completion of the job. The crew was on time each day and worked quietly and professionally. Removal of the old fence and setting of the new posts took place the first day. The new fence was completed the next day. The new fence looks great and is exactly what I asked for. The crew did a great job cleaning up and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. I am very pleased with my new fence and Comegys Construction.

I now have all my fence in, looks AWESOME. I couldn't be HAPPIER with Alan Comegy and his crew. We had some tough days that he couldn't get to the fence..it rained forever..then it snowed the first of May..rained some more, then finally some dry days and it is all in and done! Alan and his crew cleaned up everything..the neighbors even remarked how well they cleaned up the extra dirt etc. when they were done. Alan was exceptionally good about keeping me informed of when he ordered the material, setting up a date to come check the ground to see if it was dry enough several times, checked to see if the utility lines were marked, to everything. I would definitely recommend him to any one needing any fencing done. Alan and his crew deserve a BLUE RIBBON on this job!!

We had a existing double-sided wooden fence that was rotted & ready to fall down. They removed the existing fence and installed a new custom cedar fence. The job was pretty difficult because of our neighbors overgrown garden crowding the fence and the weather was very hot. Even though the job was more difficult than anticipated, we weren't charge any additional amount and the quality of the work was very good. Very easy contractor to work with and they go out of their way to make their customers happy. Highly recommended contractor!

He arrived when he said he would. His crew got right to work. Finished in a timely manner. Very professional. Built it exactly the way I wanted. It is a beautiful fence. I would recommend him with confidence.

On site estimate was within 4 days from initial phone call. Work started within 2 weeks. Company owner answered all phone calls, did the estimate and worked with his crew both days. Fence removed and posts set on Tuesday. Fencing installed on Thursday. Excellent work. Professional employees.

Called to get an estimate to replace our privacy fence. Alan returned my call in a timely manner, came and gave us an estimate and then installed the new cedar privacy fence. Great experience! Fence is level and looks great! He completed the project for the exact price he quoted. Easy and personable to work with. Always returned any calls promptly! Excellent workmanship!

The project went very well from the beginning to end. Alan came to provide a quote the same day I contacted him. The project went as planned and we are very happy with the fence. We would definitely work with Comegys Construction again.

The work went very well. After Alan removed the first fence pole and original footing, he discovered the pole was incorrectly installed, it wasn't dug in deep enough. This meant that he had to leave and get a pole extension section. He showed me the discovery and told me what he was going to do and why. When he was done with the fence poles, he worked on the gate. He took the time to explain to me how the original installation was done incorrectly and what he did to correct the gate. The original estimate Alan gave me didn't include the gate repair, because I forgot to mention it to him. He adjusted the original estimate from $200 to $250 for the extra time, after discussing it with me and making sure that it seemed reasonable to me. I highly recommend Alan for any fence work.

They are very prompt and did exactly what they said they were going to do. I have no complaints.

Part of my backyard fence blew down during a storm while I was out of town. I called Alan and he came out the next day to give me a bid on the repairs which was very competitive. Alan was a pleasure to work with. Although it was a small repair job he treated me like my job was very important to him. The work was done on schedule, on bid and very quickly. Alan was very personable and felt like a friend to me. When the job was done they cleaned up very thoroughly and even took the time to rake and seed the area they had to disturb to make the repairs. Alan honored the 10% discount coupon from Angie's list. I would ABSOLUTELY use COMEYGYS again!!!!

He built a very nice fence but was messy.

Alan Comegys was very knowledgable, professional and helpful. He and another worker provided me with exactly what I wanted. His suggestions made the project a success. Alan was willing to adjust his schedule to put in posts prior to another contractor pouring concrete. Alan then came back another day and poured the other posts around the property. The third visit the project was complete. Great Job!

Received estimate in a very time fashion.

We gave them a really hard job and they did a great job with it. There was a lot of roots and brush. The fence is fantastic. They were creative and very professional because it was a hard task. They were very responsive on when they said they would come. The clean up of the area was good. They stayed on their target for the quote. There was damage to the fence later because a tree fell on it and they came and repaired it the next day. They were very personable even though they said it was a very unpleasant job. They went over and above. I would not hesitate to suggest them for landscaping or fencing because they were very good.
