Project went great from demo to clean up and install.

Very well. I wanted the fence put in soon after our move and Comegy's was able to start 2 days after our move and the job was completed the following day. He showed up when he said he would and the site was kept clean during and after the job was completed.The quality was as good as I could have hoped for. I would definitely recommend this company!

Was very pleased with Alan's communication and timeliness. Work began exactly when he said it would, and was completed within a week. Given the sheer size of the project (450 feet of fence with 3 gates), this was impressive. I selected steel posts (Postmaster) rather than wooden posts, and many of the holes had to be dug manually due to electric/gas/cable line location. This obviously added to the costs, but this quote was still the lowest by far. The fence looks wonderful, and I have had many compliments from friends and neighbors.

Received an estimate from Alan in April. He told me the work would be completed within 2 weeks, and I hired him for the job. It is now June, and he has not scheduled the repair, and won't give me a specific date. The last time I contacted him I told him I wanted the repair done the 1st part of June as I had waited long enough. His response was "OK". I waited 2 more weeks for him to do the repair and still nothing. This guy is very unprofessional. I ended up hiring someone else and now have a beautiful privacy fence. And the best part is it cost much less than what Alan was going to charge.

Alan was awesome to work with. He fit us in right at the end of last season. We had just moved into our house and needed a fence installed for our dog, Charlie. I was out of state and unable to get in contact with my neighbor to get his opinion about the fence. Alan spoke with our neighbor and made sure everything was ok. When Alan arrived to see the land survey, he quickly called me to let me know we had, even more, land than we initially thought. We requested a larger fence and Alan provided. Being out of town and adjusting the initial plan right before the install provided some obstacles for Alan, but he did an amazing job. We are very happy with everything he did and would definitely hire him again. Please note, Alan never even mentioned leaving a review on Angie's List to us, that should show how many people have had a great experience working with him and just had to get back on here to tell others. His price was close to $2,000 cheaper than other fencing companies in the area as well. Hire Alan, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent. Alan did an excellent job putting up the fence, which was not easy due to a few easements, cable boxes, and overall slope of the land. Even when the weather did not cooperate, Alan got the job done right with care and an eye for precision. It was be best experience that I have ever had with a home contractor. Thank you, my family and I love the fence!

It was kind of shaky, little up and down on the estimate and stuff, what they will do and what they'll repair and things weren't put in writing right away and we had some problem with the sprinkler system they hit some stuff and he said well we usually don't cover that, well they were quiet expensive to fix and he ended up he did the right thing and he covered it and it fixed it worked out but it was kind of up and down with him so he ended up he did the right thing so he was a stand up guy.

The best fence and customer service experience ever. Alan came to our house on a Saturday morning, in person, to estimate the cost of a new wood privacy fence. We asked him several questions, which he answered well and patiently. While waiting for our fence to be installed, we had additional questions. Alan also answered all of those questions very well and timely. When it came time for the fence to be installed, Alan worked along side his crew. When the fence was completed, our yard and driveway were very clean. I really appreciated the fact that Alan worked along with his crew. It showed me how much he cared about the quality of work his business provides. I had another top reviewed fence company come and provide me with a quote. The other company was significantly more expensive, and they only sent out a sales rep (who promised to call me the next day with additional information and never did). Our Comegys wood privacy fence is beautiful, and our three dogs love it.

The owner, Alan Comegys, worked right with his crew during the project. They were very competent and professional. They installed the treated 4x4 posts in 2 days and the cedar panels in another 2 days. The location has uneven terrain and they maintained an even flow to the top of the fence. I would highly recommend Alan Comegys for any fencing project. At the end of the job I said "This will be your showpiece project". "All my jobs are showpiece projects", Alan said. If you are thinking about a fence project I would encourage you to do a drive by of our property in Carlisle. The fence is visible from Highway 5 between the 8th and 5th street intersections. It is a great addition to the Carlisle skyline.

We spoke several times on the phone... We had an agreed to price for him to do the work He came out one day to dig holes and drop posts and then came back 2 days later to finish job While doing the job, he noted that he didnt realize that my yard was as sloped as it was .... he installed a gate but then realized because of the slope it didnt look right He came back later and installed a gate that had been built to meet the slopes requirements.... very nice ! Our family and our dog love it

Alan was prompt in returning our initial call. He was very professional and up front about the whole process. Alan kept us up to date on everything at all times and was on sight when he said he would be. He does all his own work, digging holes, building the fence and clean up. The fence was perfect, no problems and looks wonderful. His work and the fence is of the highest quality and he was a pleasure to do business with. Would definitely recommend him and use him in the future.

Alan exceed all expectations for our fencing project. He answered/returned every call I made and was very thorough in his explanations and recommendations. We provided a 4-5 week lead time from the point he provided an estimate, and was able to hit on that time frame to complete the project. His estimate was spot on, and he did a good job on breaking down the bill to understand where the various expenses came from (surveying, fence removal, etc.). We are very pleased with the fence that was put in, and have had multiple neighbors compliment and ask for his contact information for their own projects. Without a doubt I would recommend Comegy's Construction and will look to use him for future projects I encounter.

Alan pulled out a chain link, and installed a privacy fence along the street side of my house. He did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it, for the price quoted. I am happy with the fence and the service. Good job Alan!!

He was out here when he said he'd be here. He actually returned my calls and agreed to do the job. Another company wouldn't give me a bid back or return my calls. He also came out to give me the estimate without a two week wait, like some other companies did. They gave me a rough estimate, depending on the rain. And then he told me when he'd be out, and he was out. His price was better than anyone else's. I had a coupon that made it less expensive. He's very professional.

Alan was timely for the appointment to give me an estimate on building a privacy fence. He was honest with his estimate of how long it would be before they could install the fence (approx. 5 weeks out). The quality of work performed and the attention to detail was appreciated. Alan and the crew were thoughtful and courteous to the neighbors as they installed the privacy fence. The fence looks fantastic and it is obvious that Alan and the guys take great pride in the work they do. Note: this review was written 8 months after the work was done. We had a long and drawn out home renovation that took all of our time and writing a review did not make the priority list. With that said, it is important to write this review because of how much I appreciated Alan and his crew for the work done. Comegys Construction was easily one of the best contractor I used during our home renovation. Thank you Alan.

Alan handled all contact. Due to the nature of my surrounding utilities (multiple lines were buried exactly where the fence was to go) it took a lot of extra work on his part. He did an excellent job from the time of the estimate to the finished job. The fence looks beautiful. I've heard positive comments from all of my neighbors, and will proudly give his information out if anyone else I know is looking for a fence.
