+ 0 moreI pretty much said it above, but he would show up as promised, do the install, and clean up after the job was done. I never had to call and ask if he was going to be there.
Description of Work: Bob was recommended to me by a neighbor who had done work on her home (windows and siding). Over the course of about a three year period (in stages), he has replaced every window in my house, culminating in a final window installation and siding in 2010. Very prompt and professional with his estimates, and demonstrations of what window products would be available. Brought demonstration models of the windows when he came out, and I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and estimates. When he did the siding on the home, we had been scheduled to go away on vacation. I talked to Bob, and since we had outside outlets and water, he said they couild complete the job while we were gone. Came back home, and wow, the house looked fantastic. I am so impressed by his work that I have recommended hom to several friends and co-workers who are looking to have windows replaced or siding installed. Another great thing about Bob is if I ever had a question or a problem, there was no hesitation about coming right out and either answering my questions or correcting what might have needed to be corrected. And there was only one minor thing that needed correcting. He has replaced 15 windows and sided my house. I have absolutely no hesitations about recommending his services.

+ 0 moreWe got about 5 estimates for residing our house and decided to go with Bob Lisenbee Siding and Home Improvement partly because of the good pricing but also because of Bob's integrity and honesty. He took a lot of time with us before starting the project. They got off to a slow start due to some health issues of crew members, but completed the project before the snow started to fly. Fortunately, it was a mild winter and they continue to work almost to Christmas. They were very consciencious and made sure to replace the old rotten damaged siding and also found an infestation of carpenter ants under an old flower box that we had them remove. We had a pest control company come out to take care of the problem before Bob and his crew starting working again. We were very pleased with the quality of work that Bob and his crew performed. At the end, we had several small items that needed to be finished and Bob made sure that he took care of each item in a timely manner. He is without a doubt the nicest, most reliable, and most honest contractor we have ever worked with.
Description of Work: Bob and his crew resided our entire house and installed all new guttering. They also removed old damaged siding and discovered some carpenter ant infestation.

My old siding had holes in it from a previous homeowner nailing lattice to the side of the house. I removed the lattice then Bob took care of the rest. If I need any siding work done in the future I'll call Bob.

+ -1 moreHad just purchased our new house and had not even moved in when a piece of siding from a nearby construction site blew against our house causing damage to siding and fascia. Since we had to return to our home in Illinois, we had our daughter-in-law contact Bob to see how quickly repairs could be made. Bob was contacted and came out the next day. Bob was concerned delays would cause further damage and did the work immediately. When we returned to North Liberty the work was completed. We are very happy with his work. You can be certain if we ever need work done again we will call him.

+ -1 moreBob Lisenbee came out Wednesday morning to look at the piece and tell us what he needed to do. We were told the project wouldn't cost more than $150. He came out two days later to fix it. He was quick, courteous and you'd never know that the piece was ever loose. He even secured other pieces so that it's even stronger than it was before the wind. We were very happy with his work and would recommend Bob to anyone. Our bill arrived a week later and was only $100. Thank you!
Description of Work: The siding underneath our rook came loose in a wind storm and we were unable to get the piece back in. We hired Bob Lisenbee to fix it.

+ 1 moreI had dealt with Bob from him having previously replaced windows in my home. I found the previous quality of work and prices to be excellent. I needed the house resided due to a problem with wood peckers. The time that was available was a time when I was going to be out of town on vacation for the week. We have external electrical outlets, so Bob said it could still be done and they would not need access to the interior of the house. They started a day or two before I left, and when I came back the house was done. And I might it it was done beautifully. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing windows and or siding. He is a gentleman, honest, and very friendly.
Description of Work: Sided entire house and replaced three windows as well as replacing gutters. This contractor had previously replaced the remaining windows in my house. I cannot say enough about the quality of service, and prices, and responsiveness of the contractor. If I had a question, or needed him to come to my home with answers to questions that I had, he always responded in a timely manner. If I ever owned another house that needed windows and or siding, Lisenbee would be my first and only call.

This sounds like a long time, but the weather was horrendous for working outside, and they were very agreeable and flexible to cooperate with me and disrupt living in the home. I hired them based on the experience of a neighbor, and I would definitely recommend to another.
