Bob Lisenbee Siding & Home Improvement

Bob was extremely easy to work with. He fixed all siding damages related to a storm and also took the time to reset/repair areas of siding that had shifted due to time and/or poor craftsmanship during initial installation. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Bob in the future.

There was a huge storm, damaging a home we were trying to sell, and we had moved out of state. We had a time limit on how soon we had to have the repairs completed due to a pending sale. Being out of town, we couldn't do the jobs ourself, and with the storm, it was very difficult to find someone with a good history who could get the job done in our time frame. We needed a 3-story tall downspout replaced, siding repaired on several areas of the house, and two roofing projects. Although Bob also had plenty of work to keep him in business due to the storm, he found time to get our work done just in time. He was capable, and willing to do roof work that others would not attempt. He was in contact with us within 24 hours each time we asked for status updates, and was very helpful with paperwork needed to close the deal. Thank you so much Bob!

It took awhile to get it all started and finished but it was worth it. When I requested to make my unfortunate looking house the best looking house on the block, I was not disappointed. It is by far the most beautiful home in the neighborhood. I have had strangers comment on how striking it looks. I previously gave Bob an F for not responding to my calls but if I could I would rescind that comment.

It took a couple of calls to get everything arranged, as it was around Bob's vacation. But once he was back and after I told him my old vent was letting rain leak in and a storm was coming, Bob came to do the job right away the next day just before the big storm hit. I'm very thankful. A very friendly guy too. The job was done professionally. And the price was good too.

It didn't. I couldn't ever get Bob to commit to anything or call back when he said he would.

It went very well. The crew worked fast and took pride in their work.

I could not be happier with the results of Bob's work. He took the time to do the project right. He was great about walking me through everything and explaining the pros and cons of different options. He also offered his advice for parts of the project that I wasn't sure about. For example, he suggested removing the shutters and adding a wider border around the windows and garage door to modernize the look—I love the results! He also used quality materials at a very fair price. The whole project took some time (about a month), but I would much rather have someone who takes his time and does quality work than someone who rushes through it.

Bob was able to work us into his schedule and do the repair the same day we contacted him. We got the impression he rearranged his schedule to do the job while the weather was still warm for November. Bob stayed in contact to let us know when he would arrive. We did have our own spare siding he used with his tools. He quickly fixed the siding at 6 pm. He was extremely professional and made sure everything fit correctly. Perfection! Really enjoyed our conversations.

He was late for the estimate.. Then he spent an hour talking with me about the project and never got me a quote. Its been over a month. I also texted him to see if he was getting me one. No response. I

Bob was a pleasure to work with the entire process from estimate through project completion. His honesty and professionalism was refreshing, and was a huge ally in dealing with an issue with a competing contractor. He recommended the best combination of materials, installation, and even discouraged other options that would have been unnecessary expenses - ones that other contractors had listed as necessary on their bids. His crew was timely, clean, and efficient. The quality of the craftsmanship on the installation has been noticed by myself, as well as other contractors. I highly recommend him for siding installation, and will be using his company for window and door replacement in the future.

Bob showed up very promptly to do the estimate, and provided an album of work sample photos and selections of materials available. He is flexible on what brands/materials he could use, but also offered clear recommendations of what I might consider once he did measurements, asked prefererences, discussed how long I would stay in the home, etc. He explained why he recommended what he did based on his considerable experience with a range of products. He prepared a written estimate which I got within a week. He gave me references, including one that used the exact product (including color) that I had planned to use. I got three other estimates and determined he was my best choice. One big factor that swayed me was that he's had such great reviews on Angie's List and I didn't find anything contradicting those positive reviews when I met him. His estimate was also lower than the others, while using the exact materials I had wanted, whereas at least one of the other companies used a much more limited choice of products, which did not have the color I wanted. (That company also claimed excellent Angie's List ratings but when I got my Angie's list membership, I saw that their ratings actually had dropped.) Bob answered all my questions in detail, both at our initial meeting and at phonecalls and a follow-up visit before I selected his company. He helped me feel at ease in making a decision that was a big one for me. I told him from the beginning that I was flexible on when he would start, and made it clear to him I had no urgency for getting the work done, because I didn't. That was good because weather and some illness in his family slowed things down a bit. He kept me posted on any delays. I didn't pay a cent until he was completely done, so I had zero anxiety about the length of time his crew took, and it was very clear they were doing a precise and crafted job, not a quick and dirty one. The three crew I met (Dick, Rick, and Phil) were polite, friendly, and clearly experienced and precise at what they did. Some evenings they stayed late to make sure the house was prepared for the bad weather that was predicted. They found ways to fix existing problems such as flashing that was missing or installed incorrecctly, so my water problems in the garage have been resolved. They picked up after themselves, and recycled leftover material scraps instead of throwing them in the trash. They attended to small details such as remounting my flag pole holder, giving me options on trimming my variety of electrical boxes, and cleaning out my gutter extensions (clearly not a required part of their job, but Phil had discovered a problem there). The work had involved some extra wood repairs in areas where the old siding had rotted, as well as some areas where a wood underlayment was needed because of the unusual way my house had been constructed underneath the old siding. Therefore the final bill was just about $200 more than the estimate, which I regarded as very fair. I definitely would hire them again but don't expect my house will need new siding in my lifetime!

The guy was really nice but seemed to be really busy with work. He was supposed to get back with me in a couple of days about some material and never did. It's been 2 weeks since we last talked and i've moved on to choose a different company to do the work.

It went very well, have had nice comments on the job done. This contractor is down to earth and is like the guy next door. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for anybody looking to improve their home.

Bob did a super job, just like the previous reviews said. I had tried 2 others before finding Bob...one never returned the call, one came, looked and left...not even talking to us....obviously didn't want the job. Bob's work was quality--which is what I look for even before price...and, while speaking of price, the cost was totally reasonable. Use Bob's services--you won't be disappointed.

Good quality work for the price. Very easy to work with. Bob made several trips to provide extra siding smaples to view. Has the patience to meet the special needs of his customers.
