Description of Work: I had a gas log in my fireplace at my condo; never had used it. Tried to light it myself and changed my mind and decided to have a professional take a look and start it. First--unbeknown to me, I had to have the gas connected to my home--I felt so foolish, but HVAC person was so kind, did not charge me for this visit, showed me where my gas meter was and I contacted the appropriate utility company. They came out a coupe days later and I re-contacted the HVAC company! They were most obliging and sent me a HVAC person back out--it was even the same person! I was so relieved to get the fireplace up and running for the winter!He explained that it was better to just just turn it off during months I don't need it, rather than discontinuing gas service and facing that cost each time to re-establish connection. I WILL use the company again for any water heater or air conditioning or fireplace service. They were professional when I made the first appointment and very nice when I had to contact them a second time because of my lack of 'awareness' regarding gas log fireplaces! :)
