Description of Work: Porter Tile removed linoleum and tiled a small bathroom floor with heated porcelain tiles. Bruce and his son worked fast and were friendly while they were here. He told me upfront that he hadn't worked with this particular heating system before. After we had the electrician here, we needed Bruce to come back and fix one issue--which he was very willing to do. He happily and efficiently corrected the problem--and we are enjoying our new floor.

Description of Work: We called on saturday and were able to talk to Bruce Porter about the tiling of our laundry room. He was able to come out on monday to give us an estimate, called back concerning all of our issues, and walked us through the purchasing of the tile. On my own, I would have chosen an inferior tile for the job. Tuesday the job was begun and completed on wednesday. He even suggested a pattern he could add to the floor, which adds so much to the effect. He did a great job at a very reasonable price and we are very happy with the result.

+ 0 moreEverything went very well. Initially about 16 to 27 years ago, I had a shower leak on the second floor of my home (one of two showers in the home). As a result of the leak, cement in the base of the shower had to be removed/replaced, a water-proof membrane had to be installed, and tile installed on top of that. Then in 2007, I needed tile installed on kitchen walls and floors, about a $1,000 project. Again everything went well and on schedule. More important, Mr. Porter provided quality work in short order. I recommend Porter Tile without qualification and would use Bruce Porter's services again if the need arose. Also, Bruce Porter is creative and imaginative. For example, he recommended and installed a shelf to add convenient storage space inside the shower.
Description of Work: Bruce Porter, owner of Porter Tile, has completed three tile projects for me over the course of about 16 to 17 years: shower repair and retiling, tiles installed on kitchen walls, tiles installed on kitchen floor. He was professional in all respects: friendly, prompt, responsive to questions/concerns, cooperative in working with reimbursement from insurance company. More important, he provided quality work in short order. I recommend him without qualification and would use his services again if the need arose.
