Very nice people, very professional and personable. Did estimate promptly and showed up to do work as planned. Worked quickly, and left the place clean. My mistake that I thought the window sills would also be painted. I would use them again.

All work done by Tim and his crew was timely and very well-done. I only down-graded the responsiveness and punctuality grades because he had trouble finding and then controlling sub-contractors for the exterior siding job. He had these troubles but "made good" to re-do a botched window frame and "absorb" a self-missed estimate for an exterior window replacement for the agreed-to estimate and no extra charges. We've used him before and would, again, without hesitation.

If anyone here needs a contractor who is on time, does awesome work, and goes the extra mile, hit up Mawdsley Home Improvement. Just finished my windows and porch and it looks like a new house! Beyond reasonable price! Tim and Co left me with an awesome experience!!! I'm making sure everyone I know knows about him. Very personable and friendly!

They were very professional. Responded quickly to my request for a quote and scheduled the work immediately. He arrived on time every day and worked quietly. He cleaned up every day. His work was neat. I wouldn't hesitate to have him do more work for me.

It has been a week and I have not received a call back. I moved on and got calls back immediately from 2 other places that were interested in taking on business.

I did not use him because bid was too high and more than $1500.00 higher than another bid for the same job

Tim did an amazing job for us! He painted several rooms, repaired walls, and installed quarter round trim in a finished basement and bath. He was wonderful, timely and professional. And he was careful to clean everything up at the end of each day. We will definitely be hiring him again in the future!

They were extremely busy and couldn't schedule my work for about 2-3 weeks; which is a sign of a good carpenter. They called me a couple days before the scheduled date for work to confirm everything that was needed. I altered the quote and only needed about half the work done and estimate didn't come in as low as I wanted. I agreed to the price and the work done was excellent, so I am happy with the bid. They would be my first call if I need more work done.

They returned my call quite quickly, and were very workable with my schedule. He arrived on time, took notes and measurements, asked intelligent questions, and gave me intuitive feedback.

It took them 6 days to complete, which was expected. It was a straightforward job and they did it very well. The quality of their work was fantastic. Their communication was also great. The deck was for my parents and they are hearing impaired. If I wasn't around, they had no trouble communicating with my parents. They also kept us informed of the progress and where they were at it the work.

I was very satisfied with his work. His final price came in under the original estimate. I have discussed with him doing interior painting and will probably have him back next year to do the work.

Work done was fantastic and would definitely use again.

They were excellent. They were on time, they did a multiple array of different things in the house and they were excellent in everything.

I would highly recommend Mawdsley Home Improvement. Tim and Lisa were wonderful to work with as we all had to deal with an ugly Spring of snow and rain delaying the start and a few reschedules. I live in a townhome so there are very strict guidelines of what could be done on the deck - which meant it had to be same style, materials etc. Even though I could not have a redesign the deck is still 100% improvement over what was there! I plan on using Mawdsley for future needs inside my home where good news...we will not be at the mercy of Iowa weaather!

It was a pretty easy project. They did a fine job cleaning the gutters. The price was reasonable and it was not clear what the member said at overpriced. They showed up on time. They did exactly what I wanted to do. Everything was average to too good.

The project went great. There were some delays caused by rain and snow, but other than that, everything went great! I do think it may have been a little high priced, but really I'm not sure how much effort went into doing this, and since I'm not knowledgeable in this sort of work, maybe it was reasonable. That's why I rated price as "Good" instead of "Excellent".

TIm and his wife, Lisa, were quick to call me back and I had an estimate the same week, even over a holiday weekend. Tim and his subs were timely and professional and I feel like I got a good value for the price. Tim and Lisa were easy to work with changes and add ons and the final total was in line with the original estimate. I really appreciated their flexibility with letting me handle the demo and the painting.

I called Tim to provide an estimate to paint my living room, entryway and kitchen. He offered to come out and provide the estimate that next morning. I felt the price was reasonable given the work to be done and I was extremely satisfied with the finished results. We have white trim throughout the house and I was particularly leery of painting our kitchen a dark color because any "goofs" would be extremely noticeable. Tim came out and completed the job that next week and it looks fantastic. I have already recommended him to several friends for quick and quality service. I would definitely use him again in the future.

Tim followed up very well with me on every aspect, answered my questions as they came up, and we would work with them again. The result was fantastic!
