Description of Work: I purchased the $49 deal through Angie's List for service of my furnace. I was very pleased with the technician, especially when he explained which filters I should use. He was very personable and also very efficient. I also used them last spring for my air conditioner check and appreciated the recommendations they made, which was why I purchased this deal. I will use them again next spring.

Description of Work: They found a part that was not functioning & replaced it. That should make the furnace operate more efficiently. Noted that furnace blower is worn, but functioning. Make need replacement in 3 months or 3 years. So we should not be surprised if/when it stops working.

Description of Work: Refrigerator stopped cooling. Was able to get a next morning appointment, which turned into an afternoon appointment because of a dispatch error. However, after a phone call, was bumped into the next available slot in the early afternoon. Technician was professional, quickly identified problem (circuit board failure) and had it fixed in under 30 minutes. Also gave advice about how long to wait for unit to cool down and for restocking. | |I've used Green's for air conditioner and dishwasher repairs in the past, always with good service and good results. Still my first call for any appliance repair issues.

Description of Work: checked my furnace. Said my furnace was old, & I needed a new one, but also said it still worked just fine. Recommended I get a carbon monoxide detectore.

Description of Work: They serviced my furnace and also did a repair on water heater, the thermo coupler had went out on my water heater and the pilot light wouldn't stay lit, he replaced the coupler and I have had hot water again ever since.

Description of Work: My central a/c was not working properly due to low refrigerant pressure. Technician troubleshooted the issue and found that my A-coil was iced up. He came back in a couple days and installed a couple pounds of R-22 with a special stop leak component. Much cheaper than replacing the A-coil and it has worked well ever since. House now gets down to temperatures it never could before.

Description of Work: The only bump in the road was the appointment got pushed back until late in the day. Very pleased with the service representative and was able to fix everything I had explained over the phone as a concern when setting the appointment. Would definately recommend them and use them in the future.

Description of Work: One of the fins in my clothes dryer was coming off and we couldn't figure out how to open it up to fix the problem. Green's came, opened it up and put washers under all the screws that were holding the fins tight. It would have been a simple fix for us, but we just didn't know how to get to the screws. The repair did advise us that a problem we were having with our dehumidifier made it not worth fixing. I appreciated not having to pay another service call to find out that news. The Green's repair was prompt and courteous.
