Description of Work: The service tech diagnosed our freezer noise based upon my information without actually hearing it. He claimed the parts and repair would cost around $500. I told him that I would decide about making the repairs and call if I needed his services. He said it might be better for us to purchase a new freezer instead of making repairs; and then charged us $127.47 for his time and the service call. | |I found the replacement part that he suggested on-line at a cost around $100. That means that he would want $400 to make the repair. Researching the repair on-line revealed that it took 10-15 minutes to make. | |The service provided and the amount charged was a gouge.

Description of Work: Punctual. Prepared. Professional. Removed and replaced the gas water heater, neatly and cleanly. Provided a senior discount; appreciated. Would employ this firm again.

Description of Work: The motor went out on the Air Conditioning. They gave him the wrong replacement motor. It took about 3 hours to figure out what the problem was. It works fine now and we had no additional charges.

The service personnel were professional, courteous, and went the "extra mile" to make sure we were satisfied with their installation and clean up. We have used Green's several times over the years and are happy with the services they provide. We highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Our oven was having some problems with the controls. Greens fixed it and got it operational again.

Description of Work: The pilot light on our water heater went out and I couldn't get it to stay lit after 5 tries. So Friday morning I called them early and they said they could get a service technician out by early afternoon. They called me twice to give me updates as to when he would be here and by 1pm he had showed up. It was a bad thermocouple and the tech fixed it quickly and was very professional about everything. I chose them based on their Angie's List reviews and the positive ratings were well deserved from my experience. Would use them again for sure.

Description of Work: Called them at 8am Friday morning about furnace acting up. They said they could get to me that day between 12p-4p. They called at 3:30p saying the service tech has had snags on all the calls and they would be there within the half hour. I called them at 4:30p asking how it was going (I was home all day) and they just said that I was next in line. They finally showed up a little after 6pm. The service tech was extremely nice and knowledgeable and showed me everything he was doing to the furnace. Turns out those expensive allergen furnace filters are THE WORSE THING YOU CAN BUY FOR YOUR FURNACE!! It filters great...too great, it prevents the cool air from coming into the furnace which was what was happening to my furnace. It would run but not run long enough to get the house up to temp and then shut off. It was getting too hot (because of that filter I had just changed 3 weeks prior). If you want to get rid of allergens, look into buying either a UV Light (have to change bulb annually though at $90) or a new system called GPS (Global Plasma Solutions).
