Description of Work: The only bump in the road was the appointment got pushed back until late in the day. Very pleased with the service representative and was able to fix everything I had explained over the phone as a concern when setting the appointment. Would definately recommend them and use them in the future.

Description of Work: Replaced clogged defroster drain tube. It only took about 30 minutes, as he had the needed parts on the truck.

Description of Work: Checked the air conditioner unit and the furnace. Explained that everything was running well, but bushes needed to be trimmed away from the air conditioner unit. Would use again.

Description of Work: Greens repaired a leaking gas line for me. The cost ended up quite a bit more than I would have expected. On the other hand, their $49 AC service bought through this site was a good deal, and one AC unit they could not service (broken and not worth dumping money into) was not charged. This outift is trustworthy and punctual. Their bid for a replacement AC & furnace system to my broken one was very competitive, though for that job I could not book them in the timeframe I needed.

Description of Work: The service technician did an outstanding job. He repaired my fireplace and took time to explain the problem and how he fixed it in detail. He also made suggestions to improve usage. When he finished the hob, my off white carpet was still off white and it was a great experience at a great price.

Description of Work: Our AC was not cooling the house sufficiently on very hot days. I sent Greens an email and two days later met with Dustin. He suggested that we try a number of strategies to increase the effectiveness of the current system. 1) Clean the AC unit and check the coolant level. 2) Use a filter that impedes air flow less than the cheapo one I was using. These new filters are much thicker and ended up costing $40. I bought two but will explore lower cost options online. The deal is supposed to be that the large pleats have much more surface area so air can get through easier with no loss of filtration capacity. 3) Seal the large number of basement ducts with a magnetic cover plate (the basement was actually too cold!). This turned out to be difficult because the ducts are on the sealing. The magnetic cover plates I found online were well documented not to work on the ceiling. Dustin suggested a backup plan of sealing the individuals ducts with cardboard. I did this and it helped a great deal. Anyway after the first three the unit seems to be working fine (although the weather has not been quite so hot the past few days). The next step will be to enclose our basement stairway to keep more of the cold upstairs. Only downside, when I called to schedule the service appointment I was put on hold four times. Turned out to be worth the wait I guess. These guys were really helpful, did not try to sell me a bunch of stuff, or get me to try and sign a maintenance agreement. I learned later that many of the companies will try to do this. I did have them come back to check my AC and clean the outside unit. All in all a great experience and I will use these guys again.
