The owner's son performed the installation for us and was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He even brought a few other issues (not plumbing related- so not trying to get more $) to our attention that he noticed in our basement. Would use again with hesitation!

They did great work for a great price. They pulled the permit and handled the inspection process. They only asked for payment after each phase of work was done, after rough-in and again after finish work. They even installed some nice trim to cover some flaws in the drywall work around the shower (done by another contractor who would not come back to fix it). We had a small issue where the shower doors were installed inside out but they came out quickly and fixed for us with no question. Definitely would hire these guys again. They know what they're doing and charge reasonable prices.

The owner came out and advised us what we needed to do to patch our sump pit, and that it was something we could do easily do ourselves with a can of expanding spray foam. We really appreciated his honesty. We will definitely give this company a call the next time we need any plumbing services.

Everything they did was perfect, then steps in the homeowner. was cementing back over the hole in the cement and found water. Called them back out on a Saturday and they checked everything out and confirmed it was ground water. While looking around they found a problem with my sump pump and fixed that for me as well. I had no idea what they were going to charge for the Saturday call, again I was surprised how little it was. These guys were very professional and everything is working perfect now.

Awesome! A different plumber said they'd have to rip the whole shower out, but DDS looked at it and were able to fix the issue in less than an hour for about $100. I appreciated their approach to trying the less expensive/destructive thing first rather than trying to charge me a ton of money for an unnecessary fix. And they were on time, plus got me scheduled within a day! Highly recommend.

The person arrived at 9am and it took him about 1 1/2 hours to get everything completed. He tested the sink to make sure that I was able to hold and drain water and fixed the toilet. Originally my toilet was caulked and they removed it so that I would know if it was leaking. I was told if my toilet not been caulked, I would have seen it leaking and could have taken action earlier where the flooring under the toilet had not been had water damage. There were a couple areas where the wood is soft. I will get this fixed sometime in the near future. The person did a good job and I was satisfied with them. I will call them again the next time I have a plumbing issue.

I have used DDS plumbing for the past several years at my own home and my rental homes in DSM and Ames. They are incredible! Super knowledgeable, great in explaining things in terms I will understand and they help me decide where to spend money and where not to spend money. They've done little jobs (fix leaks etc) and huge jobs (water heater replacement, toilet replacement, etc.) and they never fail to impress me. I trust them completely and for me -- if they're booked and can't get to me for a day or two (rarely happens) I will GLADLY wait. They're that good and they're that reliable. They fixed some toilets on a rental property for me and the fix did not work the first time. They were back the next day at no charge, problem solved the issue and made sure it was fixed for good. These are ethical, seasoned professionals and I'm so glad I found them. My only issue with them is I often have to call more than once to get a person to answer the phone. They need more phone help.

It went very well. He explained fully what he was going to do and gave me a rough estimate. He performed the said work and more. He replaced, tested and snaked the drain pipe for leakage and removed hair clogs. I am very happy with the work and he was very friendly and courteous.

Service was completed promptly and professionally at what I considered a reasonable price. Water line had been damaged by previous taps so a new section of pipe had to be installed and he then placed a valve similar to what's used with a sink, with a "real" valve so that the quantity of water going to the humidifier could be controlled.

DDS Plumbing was top-notch. They were friendly, professional, fast & repaired my faucet instead of what several other plumbers I called wanted to do instead - replace and charge a large fee for. DDS will always be my go-to plumbing company and I will be sieasing the good word about them & Angie's List!

Good customer service when calling the office to schedule the estimate and actual work. He was available for an estimate before we closed on our home and came to do the work the Wednesday before Thanksgiving when we moved in. He arrived early and was very friendly and professional, and got the job done in 30 mins. He replaced the section of our cast iron pipe with PVC and sealed it, and put in a new cap on the other pipe and sealed that.

It was good. I strongly liked them. It was timely and efficient. I would recommend them. The price was very reasonable.

Upon PROMPT arrival (even a few minutes early), when I explained the problem, Scott initially said they don't normally clear drains anymore, that the order said it was actually for a garbage disposal. So there was a slight misunderstanding with the service request but he forged ahead anyway and did in fact successfully and completely clear my drain, while giving me some wonderful "do and don't" tips along the way. I could not have been happier with the results. Very professional, courteous, personable, and cleaned up after himself. I would absolutely hire them again and have already recommended them to some friends. I have never had to hire a plumber before, and I'm so glad I chose DDS Plumbing. I'm thankful I don't have to wonder who to call next time.

Our water heater was not functioning after our return from a vacation. DDS plumbing was very resposive to our phone call. We got an early apointment for the next day. However, they called back about a cancellation and turned up on the same day. Scott was very clear about the problem and gave us options on replacing the water heater. On our approval, He immediately started his work and made sure he completes and cleans up even though it was beyond 5pm. Everything works perfectly now. Thank you DDS plumbing.
