Description of Work: I needed to replace a leaking water heater. I called DDS, a very nice young lady answered the phone, and gave me the price for a 40 gallon gas water heater. She then got a hold of Don and he called me back shortly. He did come out to take a look at my present heater to verify that it did need to be replaced and could not be repaired. He did not charge me for that visit. He then came back at the exact time and date we set up. His son Scott came with him to help carry the old one out and the new one in. He also is very polite! They had the job done in no time and he was very conscientious about cleaning up the area. He gave me a 1 year warranty on his labor along with the warranty for the new water heater itself. I used him about 8 years ago, and due to his professionalism, I kept his card all these years, just so if I ever had the need for a plumber again, I would have his info! He is great and I would recommend him to anyone that needs a plumber! His price stayed his price, he did not add any extra to that price.

Description of Work: After sending 2 inquiries through Angie's List with no response, I tried their e-mail through Angie's List. The address was not valid. Then did a web search for them and left message. They called back 3 hours latter to thank me for my message, but said they weren't interested. I then used Angie's List and tried to contact Smith's Sewer Service and got no response. I then contacted them direct. Were here approximately 2 hours later and completed the job in 1 hour. Good job. Good price. No thanks to Angie's List.

Description of Work: Removed old dishwasher and put in new one. Also installed new sink fixture, Job required cutting water lines which were corroded (one was leaking and we had water turned off to that faucet) Dishwasher was very old and connections needed to be replaced. Job went smoothly. Owner came out to estimate the day after we called. The job was done two days later in about 4 hours. They charged what they estimated even though the job wound up taking almost an hour longer than initially estimated owing to problrms getting the old washer out.

 + -1 moreThey arrived exactly on time, and were done in about 20 or 25 minutes. They only charged for a half-hour of work instead of the full hour. They were respectful, courteous and answered all my questions. They even had time for me to ask them advice on another potential project.
Description of Work: I had an leaky outdoor faucet replaced. I bought the replacement part and hired DDS to take out the damaged faucet & pipe and replace it with my new one.

 + 0 moreIt turned out to be a big job and took longer than anticipated but the contractor was more than fair in the price and I feel that he and his son did a very professional job.
Description of Work: The sewer pipes were replaced in a house that is being remodeled. The pipes had been broken years ago and covered with concrete so the cement had to be torn out first and it was a much larger job than first anticipated. The pipes were replaced and the rest of the plumbing in the bathroom and the kitchen were also fixed.

 + -1 moreDon came out to repair the leaky tub faucet but was unable to get the fixtures off the stems after working on it for awhile. He was concerned that he might break them, which would mean we'd have to be without water while he bought a replacement faucet and installed it. He recommended that we buy a replacement faucet and he would come back and install it. He was there nearly an hour but didn't charge us for that first visit because he "didn't do anything"! After we bought the new faucet, Don returned with his son to do the faucet replacement. They worked quickly and did a nice job. They were very courteous and efficient.

 + -1 moreDon was excellent and explained everything! I was remodeling my bathroom myself but wasn't going to tackle replacing the closet bend. Came out and removed old lead closet bent and replaced with PVC. Left stub of PVC for when I completed the floor tiling. Came back out and set the toilet flange on the tile floor. Don also fixed leak in tub drain plumbing since I couldn't seem to get it due to the tight enclosed spaces.
Description of Work: Needed a toilet closet bend replaced, new toilet flange set, sink drain stub out replaced and help fixing leak in bathtub drain plumbing.

 + -1 moreThe existing toilet in our basement was leaking. I called Don at DDS and he gave me a estimate over the phone. He explained the process, told me when he could do the work, and recommended we that we purchase the toilet ourselves at a local home improvement store. We accepted his offer. Don sent one of his men over to do the work. He showed up exactly on time. He was very good at his work. He took out the old toilet and installed the new in a very timely manner. He cleaned up the area and finished in about one hour. We were completely satisfied with this company's work. Would use them again with no problem. Thanks.

 + 0 moreCalled them Thursday and they tried to work me in on Friday. I opted to just have them come first thing Monday morning. Business if family owned. Scott is the son of the owner with 8 years of plumbing experience with Cook Plumbing before being laid off due to Regency Builders closing. His dad has been a plumber for 35 years and his grandfather was a plumber as well. They were prompt and neat. Went right to work and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Took about 3.5 hours to complete all the work.
Description of Work: Replaced sink and fixtures in kitchen including removing and reinstalling the disposal. Also replaced two faucet in the master bedroom and added shut off valves in that area. I had purchased the items ahead of time and had them there for installation.
