communication was a bit rocky as I had to keep calling and following up with them to make the apptmnt, but overall I am very satisfied with the work that was done. I plan on using them again

They actually arrived about 15 minutes early and got right to work. The leak was in the wall behind a counter so it was not easy to get to. They measured to determine exactly where to cut into the wall and got it dead center right away. They were friendly, professional and competent. I felt the pricing was also very fair. I have asked them to come back next week to replace the water valve on the main water line and I will use them again if I ever need plumbing services.

They did an excellent job. He was on time. He looked at two toilets for us. He tightened a bolt on one and replaced the seal on another. He was really good at explaning things and was in and out in a timely manner. He was a really thoughtful person.

Don, as always, was extremely efficient and conscientious. He quickly cleaned the shower drain, then asked about the project I had mentioned. He assessed the work needed to extend my plumbing, explained that the distance is within the limits of the code, told me exactly how the work will be done, and told me he will have the estimate ready tomorrow. He also looked at the feasibility of another project and determined that raising the outdoor faucet would give me minimal (2"-3") improvement, so we agreed that will remain as it is. Don has taken care of several plumbing issues since I moved here in 2010, and I highly recommend him.

I was very pleased with this company and the service they provided. And if you mention that you found them on Angie's list , they give you a 10 % discount.

It went very well. The job was excellent. My husband likes the guy quite a bit.

It took quite a while. They started in October or November and finished in January.

I had an incredibly corroded copper T-joint above my water heater that resulted in dripping and more corrosion down a copper pipe, a valve, my electrical ground, and the top of my water heater. Not having time to tackle the project myself, I called DDS plumbing for an estimate on replacing the corroded parts. The owner, Don came out after business hours and gave me a free estimate of an hour of work and $150 for parts and labor. I called back to schedule an appointment the next day and had a plumber named Dan at my door an hour later. Dan and I talked through the issues, then he proceeded to get everything replaced in about 90 minutes and charged less than the original estimate. I was so happy with their work I didn't even ask for the Angie's List 10% off deal. They were very experienced and knowledgeable as they pointed out the faults in the original install that caused the problems. All of their work was super clean. I wouldn't hesitate to support these guys again in the future.

Originally contacted in early May. Don was prompt and accommodating in terms of scheduling the estimate. I needed to do some research on the sump pit lid (we first thought I wouldn't need to replace it). Once I accepted the estimate, work was scheduled for mid May. This wasn't necessarily an emergency and most plumbers were handling calls due to all the rain. When Scott showed up for the service call he was concerned that the sump pit lid may not allow enough clearance for the backup to fit. After some discussion, we agreed that a bigger lid would be needed. I told him I would get it from the radon company and when it came in we would reschedule. Once I had the lid, we rescheduled and both Don and Scott showed up for the install. Old primary replaced, water supply line installed, and backup water pump installed. Went to test the system and the back up did not work. After checking everything, we concluded that it was likely a defective backup. Don apologized, but this was not his fault. The part was defective. This install was on a Friday. The following Monday, Emily from the office called and I was rescheduled for a new install on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Scott arrived with a new pump in hand, cut out the original pump, inserted new pump and it worked like a charm. Less than a half hour on site.

Good job, no problems, works the way it should have in the first place. The plumber came about 40 minutes later than they said he would, but did a good job.

They came on a Sunday night, which was good. And the price was excellent. The quality of the work was excellent. I would use them again!

The owner, older gentleman came out to give us an estimate and I walked him through the items. He seemed knowledgeable and gave comments on what or how they would correct the problems. That gave me the confidence to hired them. A younger guy came out probably about 1/2 hour before scheduled time, but I was there and available. The water line to humidifier was connected no problem. He worked on the kitchen sink eventually replacing one the values (he only had 1 value in truck). During that water leaked into basement and ruined 4 ceiling tiles. (The kitchen sink is still very low water pressure and slow). He was able to fix the tub facet drip by replacing some o rings. Installed 2 toilets and hauled 2 away (extra cost from estimate). One toilet doesn't seem level to me when I sit on it. The low pressure in the bathroom sink was not corrected and got worse over the next two weeks. I checked it out and was able to remove the hoses from the valve to faucet , something the plumber said was not possible.

DDS returned my initial call within two hours and arrived at the appointed time. Not only did the plumber fix the loose faucet, but he tightened the other one in the master bath. Competent, professional and friendly. I would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

Don came and provided me an estimate the in the evening the same day I called him. Knowing there was a damaged pipe but not knowing the extent to which it needed to be repaired he offered a quote for the initial removal of concrete and a few feet of pipe replacement. Depending on the extend of damage and need for repair he gave a estimate per additional foot of concrete and pipe. This approach turned out to work well as the repairs were limited to where the known damage was under the floor and where the pipe left the house. Repairs were done in one day and we are back to a functional sewage system. Did a great job at a fair price. I would definitely have them do work again.

When I called on the weekend the owner answered the phone. I explained the problem and he gave me a suggestion to try and fix it on my on before they came out. Unfortunately that didn't fix the issue and they made an appointment for Monday morning. That evening we decided to have them also replace our kitchen faucet as long as they were there and purchased a new one. The plumber arrived on time Monday morning and my wife asked the plumber (the owners son who said he was a 5th generation plumber) to also install the new faucet. All work was performed as asked and we haven't had any issues with it since. .

I called one plumber before DDS and he couldn't come out before Wednesday...too long to go without a shower. Next I called DDS. It was about 7:30 am and I needed to have the repair done quickly so I could get to work. They said they could be out before going to their other appointments for the day. Scott (?), one of the owners, arrived on time and had everything back in place and working within an hour. He was personable and competent. Good Job!

Well it did not start out well. The appointment was set for 11am. I am not one to be pushy, but after 11:20am I was wondering where someone was and I had not got a call saying he was running late. So I called the office and no one picked up. I left a voicemail advising of my appt time and that no one is here and has not called. I then called another phone number I found on the website around 11:40am. I got a hold of a man, not the person that was supposed to come out, but the guy said he would call the person who is supposed to be at my house. Somewhere between 12pm to 12:15pm the guy showed up. Once he arrived everything was fine. He was nice and polite, and got the job done. He gave tips on how to prevent problems in the future and recommended new garbage disposals if we took that route. My only problem with the service was the extremely late arrival without a phone call letting me know they would be late.

The hot water pressure in our upstairs bathroom was negligible. After enduring too many lukewarm showers, I called DDS Plumbing. I phoned during the day from work, got their answering machine and left a message. They called me back within two hours but I was away from my desk so they left a message. I returned their call and spoke to a gentleman who said they could get me in Tuesday or Wednesday (this was Monday). I suggested Friday at 10:00 as I had that day off, and it was agreed. The repairman was here by 10:10 (I'm not going to quibble about 10 minutes). I showed him the offending fixture, explained that I thought it was just lime buildup in that fixture as the hot water from the faucet at the sink was fine, pointed out the access panel in the adjacent room in case he needed to access the pipes, and took him downstairs to the main house shutoff. Our house was built in 1939 and the shutoff valve on the house side of the meter has seen better days. In fact, it's just a stem. The crank had broken off and the nub was warn nearly smooth from countless wrenches. He asked me if I would like to have him remove the current valve and replace it with a handle. I enthusiastically agreed. He went back upstairs and got to work. Apparently, our tub faucet has a switch or dial inside which controls the amount of hot water the unit puts out. The previous owners of our house were very elderly and had likely set it low to prevent scalding. He reset it and took the rest of the unit apart to make sure it was, in fact, not lime scale causing our problem. He put the faucet back together and went downstairs to replace the broken valve. I'd estimate he was here less than an hour. We have hot showers and we can reliably shut off the water to the house. I will definitely call DDS again.

I called DDS at 8:00 A.M. They arrived at my home at 10:00. Tim the plumber arrived right on time and got to work. He was very courteous and professional. He spotted the problem right away. I needed a new disposal. It was 10 years old. According to Tim that's about the time they need replaced. He took the old one out and then went to Home Depot to get a new one. DDS does not charge extra (time) to travel to get parts, if they don't have them on their truck. Tim was back in a jiffy and installed the new disposal. They were more than fair with the cost of the disposal. $150.00 The total time to do the whole job was 1 1/2 hours. I had a good experience once Tim arrived. GREAT service and staff.
