DDS PLUMBING

Came home to find wet carpet in our basement. Did not have a plumber so began the process of reaching out to family, friends and finally Angie's list. Read the reviews regarding DDS Plumbing on Angie's list and of all the plumbers listed they had the most positive reviews. . Called them at 6:45 am and they were at our door within a hour of our call. Assessed that the sump pump needed to be replaced. It was 22 years old. Provided advise on what we needed to do with the water on the carpet and what to expect about the new sump pump. The price was very reasonable. You know when things go wrong in your home they never seem to be at convenient times. So to find a professional that was extremely responsive and help us with the issue so quickly AND not over charge for the assistance is amazing. Plus give us a 10% discount is wonderful. Have already decided that we will definitely hire DDS Plumbing again to help us upgrade fixtures. We would highly recommend them and appreciate how well they took care of us. Totally eliminated our worry and concern.

Since we moved into our home 14 years ago we have had problems with our outdoor faucets which were installed using improper materials for plumbing exposed to winter temperatures. Don responded quickly and was out the next day to check things out and give us an estimate. He arranged to do the work on a date at our convenience and returned with his son where they replaced one faucet with a frost free model, replaced plastic pipe with copper on the other including running new pipe through a crawl space and installing a winter drain option for the long pipe run. Work was done quickly, cleanly and came in under estimate! I have a couple of other plumbing issues in this older home and will definitely will be contacting Don for that work in the future.

It didn't. Went with another company that was cheaper that also did a great job.

After being in my home approximately 15 minutes, the service provider had fixed the problem. He also contacted his boss, and told me the charge would be $30, which is the cost of a service call, since the fix was a simple one. I was a happy camper and very please with the service provided!

The original issue was with just one of the outside faucets. This faucet had a 10 year freeze proof faucet but split after it's first use this spring. After turning off the only line (cold water) to the split faucet I discovered that hot water was coming out of this faucet. The cold water line for this faucet was part of a connection to a basement sink and kitchen sink. DDS determine that basement sink was causing the back flow of hot water. This was not the root cause of the original problem but a simple repair by DDS eliminated it. I elected to have the second original faucet replaced as a preventative measure after it was suggested by DDS. There were no issues ,no hassles, fair price and great service. Scott explained to me in detail what is was going to before and even after he completed the work. I would use them again.

DDS plumbing did a great job! On time...fast high quality professional work, they really knew what they were doing. These guys are seasoned veterans in the industry. The whole job was done for under $200. I drained out the old water heater before hand and had things ready (new heater out of the box in position, provided good access by removing doors etc) and that made things go fast. All done in less than 2 hrs. And they even hauled away the old water heater too. I am really picky about the work that is done on my house etc, and I was really happy I choose DDS. Nothing but compliments on the fine professional job they did. Thanks DDS....and thanks Angie for good reviews. I give my highest recommendation to DDS!

I had noticed that the carpet in my loft area was wet and called DDS plumbing to come out and assess the situation and give me an estimate. The first time the owner was inspecting for a cause of the leak, he was baffled and could not determine an exact cause, but asked me to start a process of elimination by 1st having my daughter stop using the shower in her bathroom. He did not charge me for this trip. My daughter continued to use the toilet, but not the shower. Within days a wet spot appeared on the ceiling downstairs. I called DDS Plumbing again to set up a time for them to come out again. The owner and son both arrived this time and inspected the ceiling. They then pulled the toilet in my daughter's bathroom out and upon inspection of the wax ring and the sub floor beneath the linoleum determined that the wax ring was leaking. They were very professional and fixed my problem very quickly. The price was very reasonable although I had printed off a coupon I had found on Angie's List and forgot to use it. If they have to come back for anything I will just use the coupon then. They did an excellent job and I no longer have a leak at this point.

These guys were awesome. I had a kitchen sink backed up and after trying the usual plunger / drano tactics to no avail, I knew I needed professional help. Dan arrived in 20 minutes (on a Sunday night), and got the job done (the issue wound up being a clog down below the basement floor). The price was lower than his estimate. I would recommend DDS to anyone.

I called the day before and even with a tight schedule they were able to work in my repairs. Scott called me that afternoon and asked if he could come a bit early. He arrived and took at look at what was needed to get the repairs made. One trip and he was back and done in and hour and a half. He even custom fit a few pieces. It looked like it was repaired correctly and the next morning something on one of the new stems was defective. I called and let them know, Scott returned that afternoon and replaced the defective stem. Don went out of his way to make room for me in a full schedule, Scott did a good job and was pet friendly ! This kind of customer service is why I will call and support this family business again.

Determined something blocking pipes and recommended Smith's Sewer Service to fix that problem.

The son came over to address an issue with my dishwasher/garbage disposal. He fixed the disposal quickly and took the time to explain how to maintain it to avoid the same problem. He was polite, knowlegable and took care of my home by wearing booties over his shoes (While unnecessary with DDS Plumbing, I actually keep booties to wear over work boots on hand as there are so many people who come over to do work on your home who could care less that they are walking around with filthy boots/shoes). While I had not mentioned this as an issue when I made the appointment, I asked whether he could take a look at my shower as I had a 50 gallon water tank and hot water didn't even last 20 minutes. He spent a half hour trying to figure out what was wrong and even called his Dad for advice (I had another plumber look at the issue six months prior and he had no idea what was wrong). He gave me some advice (he thought there was some cold water mixing with hot at one of my bathrooms). I followed through and found the problem. (A few months ago I had hired DDS to fix a problem with a faucet in my garage. The dad fixed that one. Also great service, price. And a wonderful family.) I will use no other plumber after finding DDS.

The job went very well and was fixed promptly and efficiently. The only reason the plumber was late to my call is because the previous call needed more repair than planned. The tech also stuck around to answer a couple other plumbing questions that I had regarding a different property. All in all a pretty good experience.

Initial parts of job took longer than originally expected due to personnel problems. After curing the drainage of the new floor had several high spots that caused pooling outside the floor drain. When contacted about the problem DDS re-cemented problem areas correcting the problem. There were some problems with communications with the company which seemed related to messages getting misrouted.

They came out earlier than expected, which was great news, were unbelievably quick, professional and did a great job!

Came out after hours and replaced a failed Sump Pump. Fast, efficient and friendly. We have used DDS before and highly recommend their work.

The plumber, son of the owner and one of the two Ds in the company name, arrived exactly on time. He inspected the problem pipe, returned to his van to gather his tools/supplies, and then promptly set about the task at hand. While his parts supply and tool assortment were in a bit of disarray, he found what he needed and completed the job in a first-rate manner. He took great care to completely wipe the soldered joints, thereby eliminating the potential for the type of corrosion that likely created the problem being addressed. The time to complete the job was in concert with the on-site estimate provided by the owner (his father) the previous weekend. The charges for the work were completely in line with the owner's estimate. The work was done carefully, professionally, and in a timely, no-nonsense manner.

DDS came out, found the problem, gave us an estimate and scheduled the work for two days later as it was going to take several hours to repair. They were prompt, efficient, CLEAN, and the best part was the repair was done under the estimate!! By a lot!! We were very pleased with their service and will certainly use them for ALL plumbing issues. PS: we found them on Angie's List and contacted them because of all their positive reviews.

It required a specific part, which the plumber had to go for, which added to the time and cost. Then he had a few problems with leaks after he had assembled the unit. But the tub drains perfectly now, without leaks. I was happy to have the Angie's list discount subtracted from the bill, which I felt was reasonable. I would probably call them again if a need arises.

It went well. Scott from DDS came and quickly identified the problem. He thoroughly cleared the drain and checked to make sure it was resolved.

We had a pipe that had been giving us problems off and on for about two years. The lower bathroom sink had standing water in it from the master sink directly above it. The last plumber that had taken a look at it said there was something in the pipe that he couldn't move and offered no other suggestions other than he hoped it wasn't the sewer line. Scott was prompt an friendly. He worked on the obstruction for about an hour but couldn't clear it. He then suggested Smiths Sewer Service which is why I gave him an A. Smiths cleared the pipe once and for all.

It went terrific. Scott showed up on time, was very professional, and was extremely knowledgeable about every question I asked. He gave great insight to future projects as well.

I was very satisfied. I booked all my appointments ahead of time and they were able to accommodate to my schedule so I could take off work. They were very clean and respectful of home. They had very reasonable pricing that they were upfront about. They also kept to their estimate.

GOOD EXPERIENCE. CALLED TO SAY THEY WOULD BE ONE HOUR LATE DUE TO AN EMERGENCY, BUT WERE ABLE TO MAKE IT WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF ORIGINAL TIME.

Very efficient and worked the entire time. Kept everything very tidy and cleaned up so well you would not know the plumber had been there. Will definitely call this company again. Would recommend them to my friends.
