Description of Work: The last time we had them out was last summer, during a remodeling experience. We had them install a hot water heater, and discovered a leak the next day. Don had it fixed for us asap. Because it was a remodel and some work was contingent on other work, it's hard to judge. Don's a good guy, and I think he works hard to do a good job.

Description of Work: They replaced my sump pump and snaked the drainage line

Description of Work: they put in a new stool and sink in my bathroom. they also came and found/repaired a leak in a pipe. They were very professional and gave me a 10% discount for finding them on angie's list. I have more work to have done and plan to have them back again soon.

Description of Work: Fixed shower faucet which wouldn't turn off, replaced shower head with hand held, hooked up 2dehumidifiers in the basement to a drain, replaced toilet tank kit.

Description of Work: Called once, was promised a call back. Waited 48 hours, called again, promised a call back again, waited another 24 hours. Called another plumber listed here who made an appointment with me immediately.

Description of Work: Cleaned drain that was partially clogged..and installed new valves for the washer. Advised us as to how to keep drain running smoothly and was fast,helpful and polite.

Description of Work: Called this company first --- had the highest rating with the most reviews on Angie's List. Got a recording and left a voicemail. Never heard back from the company. Totally unsat.

Description of Work: DDS showed up within 15 min of the agreed upon time. They were very dedicated to the task at hand and immediately got to work. They quickly determined that I needed a new garbage disposal and had one with them in the van. The new disposal was installed leak-free within an hour at that point. They did honor the Angie's List 10% discount simply by me mentioning it. I will use them again.

Description of Work: They were great. The plumber was about 45 minutes early! Much better than being late but it was good we were home. It only took about 20 minutes for him to fix a leak on our kitchen sink. The price was much better than we had anticipated. We would definitely call them again.

Description of Work: My water heater went out over the weekend getting the carpet in the spare bedroom all wet. I stillhad hot water, so I waited until Monday morning to call. I called DDS Plumbing and the owner came out the same day and gave me an estimate. He said he could get my new water heater installed the first thing the next morning. A different plumber I was talking to quoted me $900 over the phone and kept calling back telling me he had been delayed. By 4pm he had not showed up yet so I went with DDS for $600.The office called me Monday evening and let me know a plumber would be at my house at 9am.Tim arrive around 9:30 and had the job done within 2 hours. He was very polite and professional and evenpetted my dog and cat. He laid down tarp to protect my floor and helped me get some wet carpet into atrash bag. I save $300 and had a very positive experience with this company.

Description of Work: fixed a shower head that had broken off (pipe and all). total labor costs approx $100. he even went to the store and got the new shower head. called in the morning, they were out in the afternoon - actually earlier than scheduled. very pleased with all aspects of the service, cost, and work.

Description of Work: Called in the morning...left a message. Returned my call within 5 minutes. Someone could be at our house in the afternoon. Said they would call 30 minutes before arriving. Followed through with call ahead of time and then arrived when stated. Service tech was very nice and knowledgeable. Simple fix to our clogged garbage disposal. Appreciate being shown what was wrong, rather than just fixing it and leaving. We now could possibly repair ourselves or unclog if happens again...but for our next plumbing problem would definitely call them because it wasn't about showing up, fixing the problem and leaving. Will definitely recommend your company. Thank you!

Description of Work: Investigated a possible leak in the Shower drain. Didn't find it, so we will check the leak area every couple of weeks to see if it re-appears and then report back to DDS.

Description of Work: Don came out to give an estimate for repair of a leak in my shower plumbing. Instead of setting up and charging me for work I did not need, he immediatly figured out that a little sealer around the faucet control would solve my problem. A very small charge for time and gas was all he asked for, $20.

Description of Work: Don came over within an hour because I had a very loud "hammer" noise coming from my pipes. He examined all the plumbing, and he found out that my heat regulator was not functioning, and that my water temps were well over boiling level. He pointed me to where I would get the best deal, not through him, he made no money on that recommendation. He made room on his schedule to work me in right away after purchasing a new water heater, making sure to accommodate my busy schedule. With a little one in the house who tends to turn up the hot water in the shower, I really appreciated his thoroughness. This could have caused a serious injury. In addition, he had given me an estimate based on the assumption that I would have all the right parts when he installed the water heater. I did not have the right parts. He gave me a discount to stay under that estimate even with the parts cost added. Also, no more jack hammer in the house!! Thanks Don!

Description of Work: Don has done A LOT of things for us in the last year since we bought our fixer upper. His work for us includes: replacing water heater, replacing hot water lines w/ pex tubing, installing laundry sink, installing garbage disposal, installing jetted tub, replacing two toilets, replacing cast iron toilet piping w/ pvc, and probably other things I'm forgetting.
