They did a great Job. We had the owner running our crew. We did recommend them to another person and they did a awful job and broke several things, However the own was not present. If you use them make sure the own is on the crew you get.

A-1 Movers did a fantastic job. Because I live in Maryland it was a great comfort to be able to go to Angie's list and find a mover with good ratings in the Des Moines area and work with them. They were on time, expertly moved all the furniture and boxes, and provided extra wardrobe boxes at our request. I would highly recommend their services.

I wish I could give A-1 Movers grades of A+ all the way through. The movers did an outstanding job with our move! Professional, hard-working, friendly, and trustworthy are qualities that these gentlemen possess. They took great care with our household goods, and in our new house, they laid covering on the new hardwood floor as a matter of routine. They were very careful about the floor. On the second day, we had a delay getting into the new house and starting with the unloading, but they took items to the shed that was open and took items to the patio door going into the basement, so no time was wasted. They worked vary hard both days, and even though it took more time than any of had anticipated, including me and my wife, I was the one to mention to them that an adjustment needed to be made to their original estimate, which contained a maximum. Their adjustment was a bit low in my estimation, so I added to it. They certainly deserved it! These gentlemen definitely helped make our move a better experience. We do not plan to move again, but if it does happen, we will contact A-1 Movers first. I highly recommend A-1 Movers!!!

I have been a customer of A1 Movers for many years and highly recommend them! They always arrive on time, conduct a walk thru of the work, are well-equipped to handle all items, take great care with everything and complete the work very timely. I always have the utmost trust that they will move and secure even the most delicate items. They are very professional and delight to work with!
